I completely understand how you feel. I vary rarely, if ever, comment on dramas, but this one just made me feel…
Yess, I had the same feeling! It felt like lazy writing for her character-- like if she was inconsiderate, it would fit the plot and the point they want to make, so they wrote her that way. Let me know what you think of the other episodes (because I don't know if I'm going to keep watching haha, but I'm really interested in what you'll think!).
I'm so glad that he's been more on my radar since Secret Forest! I'm definitely going to be keeping an eye on him-- from the bts and other videos I've seen of him, he looks super fun too!
There are so many great names in this! (Jo Seungwoo, Jin Ah!! and ofc Dongwook!) I've been on a House M.D. binge…
Oh! I just realized the writer is the same as the one from Stranger/Secret Forest right? omg another reason to look forward to it-- even if I have to wait a little longer (.. or forever) for Stranger season 2, at least I have this!
Hm, I might try this one day when I'm feeling extra gutsy haha (and don't have anything to cram for haha).
... But I must confess, I'm an obsessive rewatcher. (I should have known when I watched Inuyasha 3-4 times as a kid haha) Even without this type of service, even though it'd be nice to re-experience everything in a show, I still get plenty of pleasure from pouring over the drama again-- it may be because I already have a poor memory LOL, or that I just don't think too much about what I remember and instead just focus on the drama then and there. Most of my favorite dramas I love because of the characters and the small details and less so because of the plot, so it never bores me to rewatch and laugh again with the characters. It's nice and comfortable to be able to go to something I /know/ is a good show.
omg okay I felt the same when I watched this drama-- although I got a lot further than I would have liked to (tbh anything past the first few episodes is more than I would have liked)-- it was fairly addicting considering how crappy it was. I could /not/ stand all the Mary-Sue ness in this drama. There was no depth, just... pretty people and graphics. Very pretty on the surface with the concept, but nothing past that. None of the main leads have any flaws at all: they're both the "prettiest and smartest" people that exist and that makes them special and that's why they have such a great relationship!! And guess what, they have a relatable quirk: they play video games! I /kept/ laughing at the scene at the beginning where I think she's playing some game in.. the PC cafe or library? And the main lead looks enamored by the way she... taps at her keyboard? Those movements with her mouse, unf, sexy and effective mating tactics. And there's probably a good 1-2 minute slow mo. XDDD
Instalove+mary sues are always a great laugh hahah-- and to think I was excited to have a Chinese drama that people liked... oh the disappointment.
I always feel that he's a very solid actor. Not amazing, but most of the dramas in the past years he's been in have been pretty good-- definitely watchable and enjoyable!

oh my god, i remember seeing him in Prince of Tennis-- he was my favorite character. So funny, man. I'd really want him to take up more roles like that aha.
