Li Chang Ge endured an Arrow to her chest twice but couldn't endure her Menstrual Cycleshe needed the lead to…
One of the first things A'sun tells her, in the camp, is that she's anemic and needs to drink medicine to replenish her blood. She's anemic because she's recently been shot in the chest.
I've been anemic and had my period, and I thought I was gonna die, I went so pale. When you cannot afford to lose blood, and you're forced to... You become as weak as a kitten and it's pretty sudden.
She could have pcos, polycystic ovaries, which results in irregular, painful periods, which can cause girls to present in more masculine.
She then goes on to have her first period, not long after.
Also, when shot, you either fall into state of shock, or a state of heightened awareness and strength. Adrenaline triggers the following changes in the body: increasing the heart rate, which may lead to a feeling of the heart racing. redirecting blood toward the muscles, causing a surge in energy or shaking limbs. relaxing the airways to give the muscles more oxygen, which may cause breathing to become shallow. This is why Chang Ge can deal with stress and injury. Periods don't cause an adrenaline rush. You then witness the adrenaline wearing off, and she collapses.
As Mimi says, she doesn't treat herself as a woman, that's why she passes as male, because she has no care for her female body, not because she looks like a guy.
To those who didn't read the manhua before watching TLB or have prior knowledge to their characters' age when…
Assumptions to be made. 1. CG isn't married, that puts her below the age of 17, as an average for historical princess marriage.
I assumed she was very young, because of her risque behaviour and how she doesn't care who witnesses it. That comes from being too young to truly grasp ramifications.
I read the Manhua, in a couple of hours, during our first 'waiting forever for Monday'. So I found out quickly her age, her first period was ofc a huge indicator, but we were not yet at that episode, in the drama. He is about 20 when we start, he would need to be, to be believable in his role as our specific Tegin. She'd need to be at least 15, as unmarried princesses are rarely much older.
That's it for me, really, she was unmarried,so a mid- teenager still, that's always the case, unless they spend effort on special circumstances and point out she's OLD for an unmarried princess.
This one is better than the last Gummy drama we had. You know, Nine Tailed. This one just flows better. Lee Hye Ri is a ridiculously talented actress, remember her in Reply? Anyway, this is an interesting dynamic, JKY suits mythological monster genre, his beauty is not typical.
Kang Ha Na is in one of my favourite sad historical movies, she has range.
The Empress, she's Tan'er from s1!!The Tan'er who vanished end s1, and wasn't a part of s2, which had the Tan'er…
I'm only 4 eps in, I can't tell if I'm just attached to these people, as we've seen them for so many years, or it's a fact that this season is much better. I think they've made an actual effort this time, as s1 was just 'for kisses', s2 ' can't believe how crazy the fans were for kisses'. I think s3 might actually have a point to it. Are they following novels?
Honestly, I don't usually watch these type of shows, but these two feel like distant cousins of mine, by now. I need to know how it all ends.
The Empress, she's Tan'er from s1!!The Tan'er who vanished end s1, and wasn't a part of s2, which had the Tan'er…
Chilling thought incoming. S1 and s2 Cheng Cheng don't have a body, so s3 CC is just the 'vessel', so to speak.
S1 and s2 CC, are so similar and only differ a little, in terms of experiences.
S3 CC is unique, in theory, but as he says, there could also be no s3CC, it could be the s1 and s2 Cheng Cheng's, all along. In s3, the brothers of his family, are 'mostly twins', if s3 CC isn't a twin, he's likely the 'odd one out' and not really from this s3 universe after all. The amnesia is sus.
The Empress, she's Tan'er from s1!!The Tan'er who vanished end s1, and wasn't a part of s2, which had the Tan'er…
Would not shock me, if Tan'er's messing, turns Yilun's character evil. He finally snaps.
Although they're all Tan'er, just different timelines, and all Cheng Cheng, I feel our Cheng Cheng, from s1 is still looking for s1 Tan'er. I also want to see HER again, as she wasn't addressed in s2. I was all kinds of aching for her, 'his' Tan'er, as s2 Tan'er was a different timeline individual, and as we're the sum of our experiences, she wasn't really her. I feel that properly sunk in for him, at some point in s2. I feel like the pop-up personality,is really s1 Cheng Cheng, and s3 reality was created, not just by her wish, but by the merger in s2. This is some Einstein theory, right here.
Theory on Empress, extreme previous seasons spoilers.Spoilers also for first 3 eps of s3.
The Empress, she's Tan'er from s1!! The Tan'er who vanished end s1, and wasn't a part of s2, which had the Tan'er from the timeline where she was 'timey wimey'd ' BEFORE original Tan'er was ... well the same.
Season 1 Tan'er went to this Universe! Became Empress!
She's super disappointed this Cheng Cheng isn't the one she's after, either!
So, Princess Tan'er is Tan'er from s2, and Empress is Tan'er from s1!???!!!!!?!? So in s3, Tan'er's need to merge, or somehow end up with their respective Cheng Cheng's.
From what I remember, did s1 Cheng Cheng merge with s2 Cheng Cheng at the end? Like in s2, wen s1 Cheng Cheng doesn't belong with s2 Tan'er, I think s3 Princess Tan'er doesn't belong with this Cheng Cheng, which I suspect is wholly s1 Cheng Cheng, and Empress and he, belong together.
Fevered deductions from just watching 3 eps, but idk.
Season 3 ML could be a new Cheng Cheng, or he could be the result of s1 and s2 Cheng Cheng's merging.
All these timey wimey things, cause serious ripple effects, throughout the other universes.
Can I watch only this season without having watched the first two seasons? The storylines are related to each…
No, they're the same leads and each season deals with the outcome of the previous season. It's unique when it comes to cdrama, it is genuine 3 seasons, with the same leads.
If you've watched better quality genre dramas, you'll be disappointed already by ep1. Immediate tropes.
This is every average romance drama, you've ever seen, with all the tropes you're used to, there's comfort in such predictability. We all know which dramas, in this genre, that somewhat broke the mold, by stellar acting, incredible chemistry, or some unusual deviations in plot, this is not one of those, but that's OK.
And in the comments! iSui Baby Everyone, I bring the good news. Congratulations to the bird's egg for another city, and the 16 cities linkage will give it to Aye and Aniang!
His name, Sǔn, uses the third tone in Mandarin. It may sound nasal because it's a falling-rising tone, and the…
Super useful! There is a BTS when someone who works on the team, teaches Leo how to properly pronounce his name, in the drama. Leo practices and practices, before he gets it right.
If this doesn't win best OST, something is VERY, VERY wrong. You know, it kind of irritates me, that OST's. the like 'random Idol OST', gets more 'oooing and ahhhing' because of the big names attached, yet here stands Bossam, with real quality, front to back. I'm not saying I don't like the aforementioned dramas, because I do watch it, and I do like it!
This OST is tailored for this drama. It's atmospheric and Goddess above help me, but I cry a fair bit watching this drama, because there's a true marriage between Drama and musical atmosphere, not just bangers that bang. I like bangers, obviously, but I'm more offended when I 'catch' the production team, inserting certain songs, because they want this and that reaction from me. With Bossam, I don't have time for these thoughts, because I'm sucked in by the costume department, hair and makeup, acting and the tailor fit OST.
Hahaha! Yea, the SL is really something here. ML couldn’t explain why they love each other *facepalm:FL: why…
That's what I mean, my pizza crust, and the plate it's been fossilizing on, for the past week, has a more complex and engrossing history. There's some real development there.
She's anemic because she's recently been shot in the chest.

I came here to say, I have a theory on this stuff!!
I will make a new post for it though.
If you only watch 1 c drama, this year, watch that.
This is a 1min, spoiler free BTS of TLB, with Leo Wu and Dilraba, in case any doubts of their chemistry.
ALL their BTS are like this!
