Weren’t choosing rings for the couple that got married? I can’t watch it again, but I’m pretty sure. I would…
Ah, you could be right about the ring choosing. However, I’ve never seen this in an Asian drama. Surely, that’s too personal for someone else to do, irrespective of how close you were. This would never happen in my culture.
Excellent questions for the writer / director. But, I can’t imagine them being truly honest.
The FL actress should stick with villain roles since she is great at those and not at romcomI felt bad for Kang…
Bearing in mind how extremely unbelievable and non-existent the romance was in this drama, I’m actually led to believe that her contract says to keep it to a minimum. Haven’t seen her in anything else. May possibly check out when I get over this one.
I absolutely adored Kang Ki Young in Attorney Woo and he did a great job in this one, with what he was given. Would love to see him in a lead role again.
You must be new at Taiwanese BL. This is how they drop it. And those usually gets very high ratings except for…
I know right. Imagine coming onto a public forum to openly admit you haven't got the brain capacity to read two paragraphs. Astounding! Which also tells me an attention seeking, bored child is at play and I really can't be bothered with such a mentality.
Your War & Peace comment actually made me laugh out loud.
I too adore a BL where you have a lead who’s confidently arrogant. I find it incredibly sexy and entrancing.…
That's a really good point about where Iwanaga has been for 12-years. Do you remember when he said to Miyata: "You will only ever love me." I actually guffawed at his arrogance. With this mindset, I imagine he was waiting for him to come to him. It definitely wouldn't surprise me.
Yes, I have to agree with your thought process here, by way of Iwanaga's sincerity. He strikes me as a man who likes to manipulate others for entertainment and feeds off their desire and yearning for him, even though he has zero interest. He was also the most popular boy in school and not only for his looks but his academic prowess, so I think your Spidey-senses are spot on.
Utterly dreadful. I'd go as far as saying this is the worst drama I've watched in 2024, and the final episode confirmed that for me. The premise was good. The earlier episodes interesting and engaging. The actors were good and owned their characters. However, the writing failed spectacularly. Where was the romance? What happened to Kim Sa Ra and Dong Ki Joon's back story? Did the writer forget?
The romance was an absolute joke. Totally unbelievable. We were shown perhaps one, maybe two romantic moments between our leads and the final episode has them in the last 15 minutes, choosing rings and having an utterly ridiculous conversation about breaking up after five years and re-marrying? What even was that?! Then we have a laughable wedding, based on the premise that our 2nd couple have been dating, for what, 2-months. You honestly, couldn't make this shit up. There was absolutely no build up or screen time given to these romances, so in turn, zero believable chemistry.
I feel sorry for Kang Ki Young, as this was his first lead role and I thought he did well with what he had to work with. However, even he couldn't save this car crash of a drama.
Nice! Another seemingly excellent JBL to put on my currently watching list.Senpai/Sensei seems a bit of a manipulative,…
I too adore a BL where you have a lead who’s confidently arrogant. I find it incredibly sexy and entrancing. The writer has written Iwanaga’s dialogue beautifully. A proper, seemingly bad boy, who knows what he wants and will stop at nothing to get it.
I especially love the way he flirts and teases Miyata, to the point where Miyata in his own words says: “I’ve always wanted him.” Now that’s seriously sexy in my books.
Interested to learn their back story and why Miyata didn’t turn up on that day for their planned meeting. I’m sensing a girl was Involved.

Hilarious. Delusional thinking obviously suits your personality. I’find myself beyond bored with your responses. More importantly, I don’t want to tie up the feed for such an excellent drama with your attention seeking childishness.

Which says a lot about you. And, especially, when someone replied to your rudeness with such a thoughtful, factual comment. I think you may be missing the point of what MDL is. What it is not, is a forum to post rude, personal insults to another commentator, irrespective of whether you disagree with their post. #JustSayin'

It's a 2/10 for me... and no I'll never re-watch.

Has amnesia set in perhaps?
