I love how 4 years later and Chen Yi still remembers what happen the night he was drunk.
See... you can see where I'm coming from. I am naughty, but always trueful to myself in my thought process. #JustSayin' #Snigger

I finally understood from the last episode why Mizuki is literally, in my eyes anyway, obsessed with Yoh and beyond…
We do don't we... 😄😄😄😍. See, I think this is how this forum should be. People from around the world debating their thoughts on a series or episode, respectful that they may not agree, but appreciate the others thoughts. We also learn from each other which I love, unlike the Dangerous Romance thread which is utterly vicious in parts because the fans have descended.

You do make me chuckle. I do adore a fellow forum poster who can make me snigger at 04.15 in the morning. You have indeed been promoted John, but only a little, little bit. #JustSayin'

Haha! I don't think I'm being contradictory or incongruous. After all, isn't love a complex, complex beast. There's no black and white where love is concerned, wouldn't you agree?! Irrespective of how intelligent you are, your heart will in most cases, always overrule your head.

I do hear you though and see where you're coming from, but I do feel Mizuki does indeed subliminally, always have Yoh at the forefront of his mind and most importantly in his heart.

Hilarious. That did make me laugh out loud. Why pondered John? Don't you just feel I'm true to myself and say it as I see it?

To be honest, I doubt any gay, or indeed straight virgin, would forget the soreness of their arsehole or vagina after the first time. A truly memorable, never to be forgotten experience. #JustSayin' #Snigger

I have to disagree. To me, love initially is selfish, but ultimately compromising if you want to be together. For me, when I fall in love with someone, I'm initially thinking about what I like about them - their looks, voice, their positive spirit, energy for life, intelligence, and empathy with fellow humans, basically a kind heart who also makes me laugh and takes the piss out of me and life. I think, we all have our initial tick boxes that never come true, but ultimately when meeting the right person, it doesn't seem to matter.

Like Mizuki, I want someone whom I can simply kick back with and totally be me - warts and all. He just needs to accept me and me him and if not, we move on. I actually feel he spends a shit load of time thinking about Yoh and is the most communicative in the relationship, although, we all agree, their communication is utter pants! To me, he does consider Yoh, his obsession with him shows this - it's not the words, it's what he does. This drama has very few words between our leads, so I always look between the lines from the storytelling. It's simply their lack of communication which doesn't bring it to the forefront.

I finally understood from the last episode why Mizuki is literally, in my eyes anyway, obsessed with Yoh and beyond in love with him.

It's because he can be himself. I loved listening to Mizuki's inner dialogue perspective. He said it himself. He didn't feel a need to hide his true self with Yoh. He could relax. Those false, wanky friends exhausted him. He didn't even see them as friends. He just wanted to fit in and be invisible, which he could because he was good looking and the prerequisite of Japanese cool and handsome.

However, Yoh, was the one person who had come into his life like a breath of fresh air. He wasn't anything like those so-called friends. He was an alone, stunningly beautiful introvert who didn't fit in and didn't seem to care. Mizuki didn't mind him seeing his true self, he said it himself. It felt liberating in his mind. He made him feel calm and relaxed. He could finally breath. He adores this about Yoh (and did I mention his beauty). Yoh is the only person in his life he actually wants to show his true self to and most importantly, be around and own for himself.

Japanese writing at its utter best me thinks.

This is genuinely a well-acted and well-directed series, with nuance and hidden allegorical meaning speckled in…

Thank fuck MDL gave away much of the synopsis of the drama from the outset. This prepared my heart for the sadness and angst which would inevitably follow. What an incredibly sad, but utterly beautiful episode and overall story. So much heartbreak, angst, sadness and euphoria amongst pretty much the entire cast and in just one episode. That's unique in my eyes in a BL and to sell it to us in such a beautiful way. Clever storytelling me thinks. Very clever.

Unusual for me, as I'm a realist, I actually found my heart pounding and my eyes fixated on the screen as they all went through their bitter despair at the cards life had played them. I loved the acceptance and love Bai Zong Yi's family showed. The knowing, that you can't change the past, simply learn from it and move into your next chapter better and stronger. How burdened must his father have felt? So sad. Loved all this. Ai Di's confession and love making with Chen Yi - so glad Ai Di was the one who fucked Chen Yi - you go my man, you've waited long enough! Beautifully unexpected and delivered so sensually.

Really lovely, engaging writing. Looking forward to next week.

The producer is gay idk if that counts🤣
Good to know. However, I doubt he had any say in the script as a producer.

The premise of this drama started out well. However, the writing is beyond terrible, because it's absolutely unbelievable that in this day and age two men, allegedly in love, would actually act this way towards each other. Give it a rest Thailand. You need to evolve and find yourself some gay writers, because whoever is writing this shit, absolutely doesn't understand gay culture. Two men in love do not act this way. There is no way your boyfriend, irrespective of age or sexual experience would thwart kisses or indeed a simple cuddle. No God damn way! Who the actual fuck asks their boyfriend to constantly reward them? Answer: No one. Why do you expect your audience to believe this? It's just dreadful, lazy writing. It's beyond childish and makes for frustrating viewing.

I actually think that both Perth and Chimon are very good actors. They do justice to this shit script and I believe and understand their characters. That much has come across. However, this whole script and narrative is beyond boring, unbelievable and a travesty to the obvious acting talents Perth and Chimon have.

This is yet another Thai BL, simply looking to cash in on the lucrative BL genre and the actors fan base. So disappointing.

Instead of sending someone a message who has taken the time to articulate their thought process about the initial comment, which you yourself say you don't understand, I'd suggest you go away and educate yourself. Google is a great tool for such things. #JustSayin'

I've said it many, many time before on this here forum. No one and I mean no one thinks or writes like the Japanese. There's just something utterly unique about the way they tell a story. They are always true to their culture, to the point where it blows my mind. Quirky doesn't even come close. No other country could think, or indeed replicate the Japanese way of storytelling. I adore it and this series.

It was wonderful to witness Segasaki Mizuki's point of view and the depths his love goes to for Yoh. Damn, Mashiko Atsuki is a stunningly beautiful man. I literally can't take my eyes of him... and especially his lips, eyes. and cheeks. The make-up artist did a wonderful job on highlighting and illuminating his cheeks, I find myself completely mesmerised by his lips and cheeks. I'll be sorry to see this end. Utterly beautiful and most importantly memorable. A definite re-watch.
