I don't think it's his character. I think the story and script just suck. My main qualm is all the quotes by authors…
I agree with you. The story and script do indeed suck. They’re trying to be too cool for school with the narrative and I find it goes over my head, because it doesn’t add in any way to the story. It just feels like blah, blah, blah.
Let the drama begin. I’m here for it. In my mind, there’s more to Charlie geek boy than meets the eyes. At this juncture, I don’t think he’s ‘screwing’ over Babe and find myself intrigued to hear his story. Have to say, an interestingly, strange coupling. However, I can so see how it works, irrespective of the fact Charlie doesn’t give me a single whiff of Alpha male in his delivery, quite the opposite.
Ugh! This series is exhausting. The script has minimum depth. Why when Sprite and Zee finally meet are we not finally given insight into their relationship via a dialogue - wouldn’t that have been good to see, while progressing the story? Instead, we have Sprite telling his friend that he has to become Zee, for what, ever! Why? Because due to bad, lazy writing, editing and flow, we’re not privy to this important part of the story. Move on already! It’s becoming tedious.
The narration of this story is really clever, subtle, thoughtful and most importantly engaging. Our leads are doing an excellent job in character. I believe Sea is blind and Mhok is a cool dude with edge, swagger, charisma and an abundance of emotional intelligence. I’m looking forward to seeing how their love story evolves.
And here I am, a year later suffering in exactly the same way! I came to read the comments here to see whether…
Honestly, If you want to retain your sanity, I’d advise dropping it. It’s the most annoying drama I had the misfortune to watch up to 12 episodes in years. #JustSaying
I usually love Taiwanese BL’s, however I find this one quite bland and especially Liu Li’s character. I just don’t think he has screen presence, while Gu Jing oozes it from every pore. To me, they’re an odd casting together. I’ll give it a few more episodes to find its feet, as it’s early days.
Not bad. Not bad at all for a first episode. Acting was ok. Leads showed chemistry. Sex scene was believable. Interested to see where their fuck buddies relationship leads them and when Nail will eventually fall in love with Him, as Him ultimately wants.
Hilarious! Indeed. Indeed. Can't argue with your comment. Fact is fact. I think you'll love my most recent post on this drama, talk about a turnaround!
Damn, EP3 felt like it was written and directed by a completely different person. Last week I heavily criticised the sex scenes, in the main, saying they were simulated and unbelievable. Well, this week, I'm giving praise where praise is due. Better sex scenes. Better kissing. Better acting. Better storytelling. Better flow of narrative. Better directing. Better comedy moments. Bravo.
Oh... and, some women wear padded bras and it looks like some boys want/need padded pants. #Snigger #JustSaying
