It's aired on GagaOOlala. Although the first episode was entertaining and mostly because of our 'adults' Shin and Asuka, I find myself already bored of Minato-San acting as the terrified uke. The man is 29 for God's sake! It's so tiring , frustrating and unbelievable. How do you agree to date someone if you don't like them? How can you not say such simple words as: "I like you?" Shin's character as always had me hooked. He remains fearless and unrelenting and Asuka is just adorable.
This has to go down as one of the most badly written and directed BL dramas spewed out of Thailand in their latest line of 2023 factory productions. Whoever casted Man and Ben together as our leads, seriously needs to think about switching careers. The characters they play, simply don't fit together, to the point it's incredibly jarring and unnatural. They have zero chemistry. Ben can't act and needs more coaching. The story has pretty much veered away from a BL drama into an office ladened nonsense. The flow of scenes and editing is beyond dreadful. At this stage, I don't think the writer or director understand the point of the drama. Started out well and now I just want it to end.
The food was so much better than the script, writing, storytelling, directing, acting and chemistry between our leads, which didn’t even hit 1 degrees. This was dreadful. Utter waste of time. It’s a 2/10 for me with absolutely no re-watch value. Why would you - it’s not even a BL.
This absolutely deserves a 6.4. Just dreadful. I actually fell asleep after gasping about the plot twist. Just badly, badly written, storytelling and narration. It's like the writer and director actually don't understand gay culture. All the sex scenes were beyond cringy, to the point where they made for uncomfortable viewing. Zero displays of passion and desire. Just awful. Gun, you need to consider another career, as acting just isn't for you. It's a 2/10 for me and only because the actors rocked up.
i'm having a great time watching this, ep 5 and 6 were so sweet and funny and the leads have great chemistry.…
Yeah, I also loved these two episodes. Hilarious bowl of cheese and I adore it - even the helicopter jump had me in hysterics. It's meant to be taken lightly and they have great chemistry.
AhhhhhThat mountain rescue scene is just ridiculous. It was all good until that point.I know this is a romcomBut…
It's meant to be ridiculous. That's what I absolutely love. It's been a long time since we've had a K-drama actually owning the ridiculous nature of the script. I get it and find it so funny. Usually, I'm a realist, but this is exactly what I'm looking for and invested in. It just makes me laugh out loud a lot.
Gosh, it's been a while since I loved a K-drama this much and didn't want the episodes to end. Extraordinary Attorney Woo comes to mind. This just gives me all the feels. Episodes 5 & 6 were just superb writing, narration and viewing. Love Gu Won's character and development. When he smiles, I smile. Excellent chemistry between our two leads. Yes, it's trope central, but beautifully done trope central. I'm so here for this. Love it so much.
What a good episode. My favourite so far. Have to say, I'm very surprised at Kawi initiating the kiss. It's also lovely to witness his character development. However, why do they have him shouting his lines, I find it jarring. Adore Pisaeng, so supporting, selfless and wise. Looks like next week is going to be just as good.
Let's be honest. This is just terrible. Yet another travesty from Thailand, who appear currently relentless and I mean relentless about cashing in on the BL genre, without giving an actual flying fuck about the writing or storytelling. It literally is men on screen for men on screen sake.
Five episodes down and we don't even know what the whole café, mysterious woman is about. The sex scenes between our leads are beyond cringy, to the point where I find them unwatchable. For some reason, Gun and Mig just don't seem to be able to portray passion - it's like they're hungry for ramen having not eaten in weeks. It's like two washing machines deciding to go at it on the fastest spin cycle not knowing what to do. Gun's acting, well, I'm not even going there, all I'd say is that he must have family and friends in high places. I just can't understand how he secures lead roles, when he hasn't got a clue what to do with his face or indeed to emote any kind of emotions.
One episode to go thankfully and I don't even understand what this drama wants to be or where it wants to go. It's just a whole lot of vacuous nothing. Nothing to say. Nothing to portray. Nothing.
I think I now understand why I am so frustrated with this drama. It's literally has no and I mean, NO depth of writing and storytelling, plus the editing and flow are appalling. Where the script and the director should be showing emotions and going deeper into the characters thoughts, feelings and reasonings behind their actions, instead they show absolutely nothing but stares, fillers and Pat's mouth and eyes taking on a mirage of emotions, which don't equate to the scene, because he simply isn't good at acting.
For 9-episodes I also haven't felt even an essence of chemistry between Jeng and Pat. It's not there. The pairing as a couple I find seriously off. Week after week, I'm left feeling they're just delivering a very bad, basically written script with zero depth into the characters true thoughts and feelings. And, yet again, we get what, nearly 15-minutes of a damn woman giving birth in a BL drama! WTAF! What happened to the story behind Jaab and Jane - has it been forgotten and instead replaced with the stupid birth narrative and pointless, boring discussion with Pat's parents?
Oh well, at least they get together next week and hopefully we won't have to watch Pat crying.
