Adored this episode. Gave me so many feels. There's something about South Korean BL dramas and especially (thankfully) more recently, where the writer(s) have become remarkably direct in their narrative between the male leads. It's delivered straight from the heart. In your face. No recourse for a misunderstanding like the trope that is Thai BLs. Bam! In your face. This is how I feel about you. Deal. "I want to protect you."I miss you.” “I come here when I want to go and find you and wonder what you're doing." I can't resist you anymore." "Can I kiss you." I find their current writing style especially engaging and so damn sexy!
I expect the current writing style is more to do with the short 15-20 minute episodes, but I have to admit, they do it oh so well and have found their USP in Asian drama writing, irrespective of the fact they still need to learn to take that leap of faith, address and go deeper into a character they've introduced as suffering from anxiety and depression. So important, because we all know, love really doesn't concur all! Get over this ridiculous trope and introduce therapy - not pills.
From the outset of this drama, contrary to what others thought, I've always loved the directness of Jae Hyun in his attractiveness for Seung Jun. He always seems to understand how he's feeling, his current mood, body language and where his heads at. Love this. In return, Seung Jun, has only been totally honest in his feelings and indeed where his head is at - you'd never say these things if you weren't totally comfortable with a human in your space and especially suffering from anxiety. "There is someone I hope never calls." "It's been a while since I felt this peaceful."
Just lovely - very much looking forward to tomorrow.
It seems to me this show is making a big deal out of nothing. Looks like a story written by somebody who has never…
Me and you both. Love this comment. Additionally, in corporate and business society today, the intern / new starts would have a mentor, with weekly / monthly performance reviews and goals set by their Manager depending on their performance and how quickly they were picking up the role.
To me, apart from Jeng's at times direct tone, he's come across as the epitome of a good manager. One who can listen and give you constructive feedback good and bad. Throughout this drama, this is all he's shown to me he's done. The way they've shown Pat's response, is simply to me not how an intern would act - especially as interns pretty much look up to their bosses and are usually relentless in wanting to show they can learn, understand and are worthy of a permanent contract. Just bizarre!
This BL will go down in my mind as one of the most ridiculously, drawn out confessions of love between two 30+ males. Yes, at least Phu finally grew some much needed balls and said it, but really, they've been in love since pretty much high-school, any man's balls would be blue, blistered and in much need of surgery waiting this long! #Snigger
And then, just when we finally get our confession, acceptance and kisses, which was delivered in record time, (only took 10-bloody years), considering I've lost how many weeks of my life waiting, lovely granny goes and dies, throwing yet another unwanted curveball into the storyline, to ensure the audience receives the pre-requisite minimal time of actual BL love between our two leads! And if that wasn't enough, why don't we throw in for the final episode, even more angst, therefore yet again reducing the romance, (because hey, its only taken 9 excruciating episodes to get the leads together), showing Nan, considering going to China and playing that whole thing out as the grand finale of episode 10, with perhaps 10 minutes of loving, including a make-out! Now that should satisfy this audience! Oh do fuck off! #JustSayin'
I don't understand why they have to put so much office stuff in it. Imo it messes up the romantic build up. They…
I wouldn’t mind the office drama if it had an actual story outside of relentless bitchiness and gossiping, but I now find week-after-week of it seriously tedious. I’m even here for the slow burn of the romance, as the title says it all about, but it’s turned into this inane office, childish nonsense, that I’m starting to find unbearable. Pat’s attitude, narcissism and acting are also proving tiresome.
I'm astounded this series is directed by the Director of Tharntype. Has he lost his mojo? 1 hr 24 minutes of boring, childish, office gossip! WTAF. Why would any writer or director think we'd find this entertaining? This series is rapidly morphing into painful viewing.
So Pat starts out in EP 1 and 2 hating the gossip and office politics and now, not only does he continue to act like a high-schooler whenever he's given constructive criticism, he now has become a very real part of that office gossip. This doesn't make any sense to the character we were initially introduced to. Also, Ben's acting really needs some serious work. He literally expresses every emotion with his mouth, either pursing his lips or pouting and snarling - it's so off-putting. Man also shows very little emotion while delivering his lines. Also, I think they had more chemistry in episode one, than they've had since. Oh well, another sure miss from Thailand. I'm getting very used to this!
Agree with all of this. The lead with the panic disorder is actually the weakest actor in the show and his depiction…
Love this. Laughed so hard. 🤣🤣🤣🤣Multiple use of the word penis and penises. However, the best was vadge! Brilliant. I haven’t heard this word in years.
Does Pat being gay define his personality? Since he's gay he can't be immature, shy and overanxious?
Hey Betty Anne. Thank you so much for your response and you're so right in much of your thinking, so thank you again. However, I perhaps need to explain further.
He's already out and proudly gay from EP1, which I loved. My hope is the writer and director won't take his character down the route of... "Oh my God, I can't talk to this man." Oh my goodness, he wants to kiss me." "Jeng behave, stop it, don't even think about hugging me, let alone having sex with me." "Jeng, Jeng, Jeng, stop it, behave."
What I'm saying is, he has been in a relationship/s, previously. However, I'm feeling the writing has taken a turn from EP1, down a route at this juncture, from the confident, albeit it heartbroken gay man into a childish, immature one, which I hope they don't continue. #JustSayin'

Ah, me thinks you might need to re-read what I’ve written, as you’ve totally misunderstood me. Something I absolutely appreciate happens between different cultures. #JustSayin’
This series has potential. However, I hope Pat’s character, considering we already know he’s gay, doesn’t morph into a childish, too scared to talk to or kiss my man scenario. At the moment I find him beyond childish and immature, plus, what’s going on with his mouth? All his feelings and emotions he seems to display through his mouth, quite like someone on drugs gurning. What’s that about?
What was this? What was the point of it? Utterly dreadful. No story, just 2-episodes of the most vomit inducing fluff. The writer and director should hang their heads in shame. I’ve read better stories written by Wattpad writers in high school.
Guys, can you please stop getting SnowRegrets banned? He did not even make any public comments yesterday and only…
I do find it rather vicious and vindictive to have someone banned unnecessarily. Snow Regret has been very cautious about what he’s been posting lately and as Maggi rightly pointed out, all you need to do is block him, simple. I too was having a conversation with him yesterday and it disappeared - very frustrating.
