ikrI wish tv shows here in the US was this good well it is but only with the streaming servicesregular network…
I’m in the UK and haven’t turned my TV on in 5-years, simply because it was all about reality TV and dumbing down, something I can’t do. Asian culture fascinates me. #JustSayin’
Gosh! This is beyond dreadful. It's not even funny dreadful like Unforgotten Night. There is no script. The directing is abysmal and the acting feels like children running through lines with a teacher. Don't even get me started on the terrible chemistry between Sky and Win and that fucking dog - become mince meat already!
What a lovely start. Really looking forward to this one. Seo Han Joon's character is instantly likeable and adorable. At this point, I have no doubts in my mind that Jo Yoo Jae also has feelings for Seo Han Joon - hence why he's so obviously jealous about the strikingly beautiful Park Jin Hwan getting close to his beloved.
This series should have been called A Boss And A Babe Hug. I didn't dislike it, however, it is hardly memorable or indeed re-watchable. I agree with all the comments around the plot. Nothing was resolved, so why the hell introduce in the first place. Lazy writing me thinks, but that's Thailand for you. It's a 4/10 from me.
This is at the peek of light / fluffy / cute my brain can enjoy and endure in the world of BL. Anything else just pushes my brain into serious WTAF can't do land. Our Skyy Season 2, I'm pointing at you - just can't do that utter rubbish! Too vomit inducing for me. However, I so appreciate I'm not their target audience. That is all about fan service, irrespective of the fact I liked a few of the original dramas.
However, this drama does it for me in fluffy / cute land. Have really liked Haram from the outset. In my mind he's a boy who loves a boy and wants him. It's that simple. I've always found it seriously sexy how he's utterly focused on getting his man. Hell, I'd desire him from the outset, as Lee Jun admitted. I want to be chased. I want you to have resilience to get me. I want you to prove you're worthy of me. So, come at me with all you've got #JustSayin' #SexyAsFuck
Oooh, next week with the ex is going to be interesting. I think Haram already feels this is the ex and was emotionally intelligent enough to leave Lee Jun alone. See you next week.
OMG! This is just utterly, utterly delightful viewing, writing and narrative. Oh my heart! I absolutely loved the creativity in Yutaka telling his story through animation. How beautiful was that and so typical of Japan! You seriously rock! I never get teary over dramas, because I'm a realist and see things as they are, but this whole episode nearly brought me to tears... and don't even get me started on Tane. What a career, him and (as I understand it, his twin are going to have). Just sublime. Love it so much. I don't even care about the shit 'not-seen' kiss, it's that good. Can't wait for next week.
Gosh, they really could have used their 15 minutes a whole, whole lot wiser (think, Our Dating Sim). This episode felt like a sprint to the finish line, with no real insight into how Seung Yun managed to work through his depression and anxieties, other than to focus on his music. Really? A nod to the CEO being taken down and an idiotic line about Seung Yun wanting to make himself better especially for Jae Hyun. #Sigh
Gosh, this drama really is quite the head fuck! At this point it is 50/50% good and bad.
I find the editing diabolical and especially the cut between scenes, which lose the flow of the narrative. Jeng and Pat heading out dressed resplendent in tuxes and then not showing the event. Opening of Ep 5, Chot was at the presentation and then hey ho, he's in hospital with no explanation. WTAF! What Director would sign this off as good editing and flow in a stories narrative? Thank fuck, EP 5 has moved us on from over an hour of office gossip. I'm celebrating the fact I finally had a whole damn episode where I didn't need to tolerate Ying's voice and over acting and the whole intolerable office crew. RESULT! Are we finally moving forward in the narrative? I think so.
What does piss me off is the very little screen time Jeng and Pat have. What's that about? I get the step-by-step slow burn, and I'm here for it, even like it. However, they have very little interactions together and for the most part, it feels like their narrative is just a whole lot of unnecessary filler lines which don't move the story or romance forward. They're just uncomfortably awkward together. Yes, we know Jeng has a thing for Pat and Pat obviously is into Jeng, but couldn't they move this obvious attraction for each other forward? I'm finding myself honestly bored with all the marketing / presenting storyline - it's just too much inane boredom. I mean the majority of this episodes storyline was spent at a service station. Really? #Yawn doesn't even come close.
Jane and Jaab's story. I actually find myself laughing out loud. So, we're meant to believe up to this point, Jane didn't show any interest in Jaab, but all of a sudden leans in to kiss him. Where did that come from? So unbelievable. SERIOUSLY? I'm here for it, because, irrespective of whether you're in a relationship, you'll always follow your heart and if your heart wants to kiss the beauty that is Jaab, it seriously won't stop. However, it makes for bad writing as its so fucking unbelievable without a lack of build up and chemistry between them both.
