Yes, Turds Out Of Thailand. I fucking love it. Makes me laugh a lot. How could you not respect a person who nails Thai BLs oh so eloquently. Because, that's exactly what they are. You'd think they'd evolve. However, they've actually regressed. I'm so not surprised by these figures.
This Maggi, he's been so, so good and reserved. Honestly, astounds me and all because the children on this here forum can't take an individual with a thought process outside their actual beliefs. I actually think they could learn from him. #JustSayin'
Here, here. I also adore him. He makes me laugh. He's a breath of fresh air and especially on his comments about Thai dramas, so damn, damn funny. Loving his TOOT comments when speaking about Thai dramas. #Hilarious
I find this show quite confusing. It seems to jump sporadically from the past to the future and I also think the three leads look too much alike, which throws me off at times, making me have to concentrate harder. I think the storytelling isn't making good use of the 15-minutes. Let's see what the next episode brings.
This is such a lovely, heart-warming drama, which gives me all the feels. Love the slow burn of their relationship and I honestly don't think Yutaka has a clue about how Minoru feels about him, bless him. I'm looking forward to the narrative around Yutaka's childhood trauma and how Minoru will help him to heal, let go and move on.
I must say, the only jarring thing for me in the latest episode was the continued flashbacks - I don't think this was needed. However, very much looking forward to next week.
That was a great review! Very entertaining, and I agree with everything you've said. I like how you said the restaurant…
Why thank you kind human.🙏🏽We meet again. I adored the restaurant owner - so wise. So direct. I agree also on the therapist, a straight talker - told it as it was. Loved this. However, I can't believe it took her 10-years to get him to that stage! Great drama, so many lovely characters who delivered their lines beautifully. This drama has had a profound effect on me.
Gosh, reading the reviews and just pushing play on EP 7, I’m not sure I can watch another episode of NEVER moving forward between 30+ year old men. It’s all becoming too boring and repetitive for me. I feel I’m watching yet another unrealistic Thai drama, where we’re supposed to buy into these amazing screen time feelings with zero actions. In what way is this believable?
They’ve had over a month to shoot new episodes, surely they’ve read the reviews, as to the expectations of their audience - both negative and positive. Why are we continuing to go around-and-around in circles with two adult gay men and ridiculous side characters overacting with more screen time? Honestly, I’m reaching the point of being done with Thai BLs, they really are an utter shit show when it comes to writing. So childish and beyond amateurish in delivery. Grow up already and start to watch what other countries are doing. Just terrible, with seriously bad acting from side characters in particular.
I just think I can’t continue after finishing The Eighth Sense - in a league of its own. I’m dropping. Not worthy of my precious time.
I see your point but on the contrary I actually found that sudden out of ordinary close up really effective.....for…
Did you spot that random leg with a trainer dangling from the air? That made me laugh out loud. Loved that whole scene, but totally agree with you on the close up - through me off, as seemed to come from nowhere, but I got what the Director was trying to do.
