I made a discussion thread for all questions about Word of Honor. If you wanna share some interpretations of the drama or have questions about a scene that left you wondering what happened, here's the right place to ask. ^^

I looked through a couple chapters yesterday and got lost reading. Very well written novel. ^^
As for the questions about the drama I'll open a thread where we can share those and our interpretations. ^^

That's because the drama was supposed to have 45 episodes but got cut down to 36, so they had to put the story of 9 more episodes into the existing 36 which is why everything seems rushed. Otherwise we would've got a well built resolution for everything, including how WKX and ZZS expose Zhao Jin and get justice for WKX.
The ghosts were working for the Scorpion King but they were well aware that it was a suicide commando so I think they would choose WKX over the Scorpion anytime when they could.
The deal between WKX and Scorpion was that WKX would reveal the truth about Zhao Jin and "eliminate" him, the Scorpion (having doubts in Jin for a while) agreed under the condition that Zhao Jin would stay alive and be given to him.
When Ah Xu (ZZS) was sitting on the rock (on the place where WKX faked his death) he thought WKX was dead for real so he removed his nails (I know, strange CGI effects). That would kill him instantly if it wasn't for the red box of medicine he was given by Grand Wizard that recovered half his life. ZZS did that because after loosing WKX he didn't want to live anymore.
The scene with Chengling is only shown as a flashback (due to cutting reasons) so we don't see if he was mad at WKX at first or not. We only know that WKX included Chengling and Shen Shen in his plan to fake his death and that they agreed.
There are hints throughout the drama that Scorpion has different reasons/plans than his father does. He just wants to stand on his father side in the open, not being pushed aside as a shameful existence.
When he realizes that Zhao Jin uses him and considers him a tool just like everyone else that he got rid of in the past, he sees that this will be likely his fate as well so he betrays him.
Ye Bai Yi is not heartless and the promise he made was to erase the Ghost Valley but it didn't speak of killing them all.
WKX had good reasons for his actions even though some of them backfired and caused harm, he's not evil. You see a change in YBY actions when he's confronted by ZZS telling him, that YBY has no right to judge. He lowers his sword and he lets WKX go. Also, he owed both WKX and ZZS a favor so I think that's why he helped them. I'll open a discussion thread for WoH where we can gather all questions and share our interpretations. ^^

I have trust in Tencent after seeing how well they managed in The Untamed. We don't know how much censorship affects a drama before we watch it so I'll give it a try when the drama airs and see for myself. :)

I watched it a couple times and always shed tears until I reached the point where I made peace with it. Sure it does look like a bad ending but when you think positively, they will be reincarnated. Also the end of the novel fixed the dramas end.

In general, Healer has my OTP, but you've already watched that. ^^

As for the ending of Guardian, it's due to censorship but I can highly recommend the drama. If you're really unsatisfied with the ending, you can read the extra chapter Priest wrote for the fans.

Just wait a bit, it will be explained why Chengling knows about WKX and the thing with Gu Xiang as well. As for the other one, I'm not sure why you're confused. As much as I know they were not held hostage or anything so they could come for his aid if he commanded them. It's been 3 weeks since I completed the drama so I'm not entirely sure about the ghost thing.

It's sad to read (again) that fandoms clash on each other when there's absolutely no reason for it. The troublemakers who do such things as downrate other shows is probably of an insignificant number of people yet they cause a lot of drama. We should just ignore them instead of jumping on their waggon and reacting with more hate.
My heart is big enough to love CQL, WoH, (KaH once I watched it) and other dramas equally for what they are and what they made me feel. I was enjoying my time and entertained by CQL and WoH while watching and both dramas main leads are engraved in my heart.

No, fans just like to see Ruyi Pavilion as a second season to Legend of Yun Xi because of the same main leads cast but the dramas are not related to each other.

For me equal chemistry was shown in Guardian (2018) and The Untamed.

Heaven Official's Blessing did not start filming yet, it's scheduled for this summer (second quarter of 2021), not even the cast has been revealed yet. Douban lists Ding Cheng Xin and Zhang Ling He as cast but it's not officially confirmed yet.

Yeah, pleasant surprise. I didn't dare expecting it because you never know if a Chinese drama airs or something makes them hold it back. ^^

Totally second that, this genre is a treasure cave for us watchers. I get lost in the upcoming dramas regularly because there are so many to choose from. ^^
