For the ones who hesitate to watch it because of teacher-student relationship, that is not the case in here. When…
Thanks for explaining this so clearly! π
I was still going to watch this after. a few more eps aired because of great PD+Leads, but your comment has put my objection to teacher-student romance at ease.
It's such an interesting cultural difference that Koreans seem to expect that their reality is not portrayed in…
Koreans expect a censorship of any flaws they have,
SHOWING BAD REALITIES IS A GOOD THING, rather than hide away and ultimatley EXCUSE away and NOT LEARN and do better, maybe koreans should take better care not to commit drunk driving crimes. SHOWING THE DARK REALITIES means having to take more accountability and not censor away it all and not learn as you hide away the things you don't actually want to do better at....
This is not a drama for people low on empathy. This drama shows two imperfect people, their trials in navigating romance amidst trauma and emotion, and requires viewers to ask WHY do they do what they do here and to seek to understand them. No perfect boring character in sight, but real humane ones.
...This is why you should always read dark/scary stories involving human messing up to children and not just wholesome books so they learn empathy and don't grow up into adults stuck on human perfection and judgementalism. Your parents did you all dirty and you don't even realize it.
Hope it's good, all those negative things people said about it only sounded like HUGE PLUSES to me LMAO π(conwoman FL, flawed characters, quirky choice in music, FL&ML not having silly insta-love right away),
Will Love In Spring (controversial for some with death-talks and imperfect leads, wonderful deep script for the rets of us! π) Welcome to Samdalri Marry My Husband
Are really good! π
Haven't finished airing, but promising: The Atypical Family The Midnight Romance In Hagwon
Most Kdrama fans can accept the most illogical thing thrown at them in dramas which don't exist but can't accept…
Most kdrama fans are idiots who like brainless romcom with perfect leads and unrealistic romanceπ , that's why they throw a fit over logical things but accept nonsense lol
Did she wake up in his body? Or they both woke up? Kind of sounded like they put her brain/conciousness inside a pc/robot too the way she was speaking??
Not really a season 2, but maybe an ending movie needed to explain....
Iβm sorry, but I honestly hope you are wrong because Iβd be sad if this drama turned out like SITR! π±πI…
This doesn't have the same writer as SITR and OSN though. π It's an entirely different writer, just same PD.
Anyway OSN was MILES above SITR, and didn't have a ridiculous 2nd half like SITR. But looks like you didn't wtach OSN??? You're missing a good drama! If this one will be anything like OSN it should be good. If this doesn't turn out good, you can always jump aboard OSN. π
Drama was too lowkey and boring slice of life for my taste. Ep 1-2 &8 was watchable, rest was filler.
Would've worked much better as a movie. But was interesting enough from a tourism point of view (geisha apprenticeship!). I loved the friendships between girls and women and the food scenes.

now hopefully good writing π€π€
*Instantly puts on Plans To Watch.*
Now we need also the 2nd pairing to be cast, hopefully that will be just as well cast! ππ

When did filming begin and until when will they film?
(just trying to guess an approx. airdate)

It delivered an interesting scifi thriller, exploring interesting concepts.
I didn't like this writer's previous works,
but looks like the biotech/scifi element is what made their project finally actually interesting.
ZYT fan accounts on x.com shared an interview, rough transcription:.
Interviewer: What genre do you want to work with if paired with him (Li Xian) again?
ZYT: Genre doesn't matter, a good script.
....just implying a wish to work with him again is making me giddy! π Drama gods make it happen!! ππ―οΈπ«β¨

I think only ep 1-2 +8 with the fun zombie play were necessary, rest of eps useless filler. Maybe should've just been a movie...
