I'm glad this is ending. Never really enjoyed it. 7.5/10, just watching for the leads and completing because 2 eps only left.
The drama just typical fluff romcom, lacks depth. And even when they inserted some depth in ep8-10 finally, it still felt EMPTY. It's just a DECENT romcom, that's it.
It says 25th July here, but it still hasnβt aired yet. It was supposed to air today, right? So when will it…
First 50 ep kdrama ever?
Don't be so quick to wtach ep1, since they air only 2 eps each week yet 50 eps so whole airtime is a whole 6 months.
My conclusion from watching a few it's best to wait a few eps before starting it and take pauses on occasion to binge some eps togetehr, waiting every week for 6 months is a long time. π
(My personal prefernce is to wait for 1 month or 10 eps or 5 eps if impateint ; after airing begins, before i Start them)
But it's also their charm, being immersed in a. drama for half a year you tend to grow fonder of the characters too than in shorter ones...
They could have picked better gloves for her - ones that match with her outfits a little better, because the black…
"They"?
Actually it was EunBin herself who chose the gloves and tried to choose them according to her outfits,
Maybe she just didn't succeed in every scene according to your taste, personally she did for me so far, and I'm a known well-dressed fashonista in my circles irl. But tastes do vary.
The first two episodes are watchable but painfully generic. It feels like there's been so many recent dramas with…
Maybe if you stopped Nitpicking, rating perfectly good dramas like Death's Game a 7.0, and The WONDERfools a 7.5 and dropping dramas like Teach You a Lesson,
you could actually like good kdramas... This seems to be a YOU being overly strict problem and looking for things to hate in dramas....
The first two ep of Spooky succeeded in setting up everything well to create a hook, a thing Most dramas only do by like ep4-5, as such ep1-2 is better than the average kdrama....
I just cannot trust anyone giving low rating to Death's Game to have a good judgement in anyway....
Soooooooooooo is this drama more Romcom or more serious dramatic tone?
Would this be suitable to watch in between more dramatic thriller type kdramas as a healing fluffy comedic mood boost romcom or is it more serious melodramatic type?
Lol, people in the drama think she is basically heartless but I do like that we didn't get to meet her cold self…
I LOVE LOVE LOVE how the drama set up this Mask of coldness and revealed her secret warmth to the viewers, while the people around her are clueless. It's like we're all in on her little secret ha ha
Lol, people in the drama think she is basically heartless but I do like that we didn't get to meet her cold self…
Any ACTUALLY Arrogant Typical Chaebol Heiress would've FIRED ON THE SPOT those 2 gossing hotel staffs of hers just to show her power; (aka. done Exactly what the 2ML villain did to the staff who accidentally put them in same room)
instead she just scoffed and walked away & let them off easy with them being freaked out that she overheard their gossip.... Pretty sure she didn't fire them off screen later either. They only gossiped like that because they THINK she's a typical spoiled rich Heartless brat lol little do they know...
ML should not be catering anymore to his sister, bc he is just an ENABLER in a co-dependent relationship, making…
"western audience canNOT handle complexity and depth" >>>>
Western audience is the biggest consumers of Scifi, detective and psychogoical thrillers. These are all the genres built on intellectuality and depth. Western people have also higher literacy levels and being readers.
Westerners inveted gothic and metal music (I speak of goth and metal, i know origins of rock is from black music), both are heavy in intellectual depth and deep introspection. I don't see too many consume this music outside of the west, because it's too deep and scary for them.... When people outside of the west begin to like intellectual genres, then we can talk....
So your assessment isn't even correct in anyway, all you have to do is look at Actual Consumer Data. Westerners consume intellectual investigative tv, films and books, outside of the west, Emotional works are more popular...
There's just a Minority of VERY DUMB Westerners (likely the lowest educational level ones) being VERY LOUD on the internet lol. Some of them are just literal teengirls stanning "Hot oppas" and being shallow due to AGE. But that's a WORLDWIDE problem...
Also please don't confuse dumb USAsians with the rest of the westerners...... Even the lowest educated westerners outside of Dumblandia USA are at least smarter than them...
I don't know the drama comes across as too Cartoonish and shallow.
Heartstrings did a much better job at the Music College setting plot, so since I've already watched that one, this comes across as Temu Heartstrings...
and I love both leads here, but I don't think I can complete this drama...
Another rom-com? Geez, and just when we thought he was going to expand as an actor, he goes back to playing it…
Why do assume he's not challenging himself? Both of these 2 upcoming Romance kdramas seem the type of romance kdramas with complex inner psychology, well-suited to his acting skill and range. Geesh just because something has Romance doesn't make it shallow. Maybe instead of confusing silly romcoms with ALL romances, you should actually watch the more psychologically complex type of romance kdramas like Come and Hug Me, The Smile Has Left Your Eyes, In Your Radiant Season, Love Me, The Trunk, Mask, Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life or even his past kdrama Call It Love.....
Beside his cv is ALREADY very varied with challenging projects outside of romances, and I'm sure he'll continue to do BOTH nonrom and romances, quite in similar vein to Ji Chang Wook...
And I thought already the casting him with Chae Soo Bin was perfection, now here they go and find yet another Perfect FL for him!! πππ₯π₯
Btw he consistently pics interesting projects.
There's now already like 8-10 Perfect OTPs for the 2027 kdrama year, wow seriously i can't believe how well casting directors are doing in their selections lately! π
in the movie it was the ML who at one point stayed at FL house. Maybe they'll repeat that?

She revealed this in her Pre-Air Interview:
" Cheon Yeo Ri's signature glove fashion is also catching attention. Park Eun Bin shared that she paid special attention to ensuring the gloves blended naturally with everything from the hotel CEO's sophisticated outfits to her workwear, saying, "I kept wearing gloves as a common element while varying the style [to suit each look]." This drama was specifically made to torment me π π π
I just CANNOT pick a ship and ship her with Both π π π
there's an underrated kdrama starring him totally worth to watch:
Your House Helper
https://kisskh.at/28177-your-house-helper
Recently I just picked up that kdrama for the cast, and seeing the positive reviews for it..It's surprisingly good!
