UPCOMING 2026 to air in 2nd Quarter, which All seem Promising:
Love on the Menu (Star Screenwriter-nim! π) Love Doctor (Ahn Pan Seok PD-Nim! ) Take Charge of My Heart Nine to Six A Love Other than Yours Tantara Merry Berry Love
Is it just me or she Rarely gets a Good leading man?! (Only Lee MinKi and SeoInguk good).
I miss her romance kdramas, and Want to see her Paired with:
Kim Jae Wook (They we're actually paired in Bad Guy, I want to see them as actual Leads!) Seo Kang Joon Jang Ki Yong Lee Min Ho Lee Sang Yeob Lee Joong Ki Namgoong Min or Ji Chang Wook
So I finally watched ep 7-8 and it wasn't EVEN REMOTELY as bad as you all made it out to be.
Whole Ep7 was fine and ep8 only bad at very end.
So really upset over a CLIFFHANGER EP ENDING which will likely get solved in the Next ep π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ π
Apparantly a drama isn't allowed ANY conflict....
Anyway the drama has much bigger issues than ep8 ending. Mainly it's quite boring. It feels abit EMPTY while watching. 7.5/10 only and that too because elevated by the great cast.
This......Is not the Flex you think it is. π€¦ββοΈSome of you are overly biased, not realizing that there's…
So you assume based on ONE bad situation with YSJ that Netflix Bad for ALL!?; WTF. Btw his Next Kdrama Spooky In Love has Netflix as OTT. IT means great things for his career. Doona was trash, so maybe blame trash drama makers(PD&Writer) instead ....
Here's an opposite example.:
Oh Yeon Seo. Only reason she still has a career is due to Netflix. Past scandals (which weren't even her fault) and due to availability of her best drama to date Mad For Each Other, has shown people she CAN act and left a great drama in her cv.
Also I'm thinking you need to gain some empathy. Some people are not "Netflix obssesed" and only watching kdramas due to popularity! Some people want Netflix OTT because that way they'll gain access to their fave new kdramas. Every person should have right to access kdramas.
...Or are you one of those weirdly racist towards western people who assume we all just Like Popularity, hype and looks?!
I listen to goth, rock, metal and indie music and dislike 90% of the most popular kdramas.... Definitely not mainstraim in my tastes.
Netflix is a MEANS TO AN END, (unfortunately) Popularity matters alot when it comes to Casting in kdramas, so you better f*n Root for OTTs with potential to lift up k actors....
I hope it wonβt be on Netflix. At least on Western Netflix. This drama seems too beautiful for that. It should…
This.. ....Is not the Flex you think it is. π€¦ββοΈ
Some of you are overly biased, not realizing that there's a Massive difference between just being an OTT who bought the streaming rights vs being a. Producing OTT plaform Involved in the production.
Yes, I would worry about the QUALITY of Netflix ORGINALS actually produced by Netflix.
As for Kdramas made and produced by Actual Korean channels like TvN, KBS, SBS etc, having Netflix as OTT just means better availability and possibly better Promos, which is a VERY GOOD THING for the ACTUAL CAST AND CREW'S CAREERS.
....You realize by hating on Netflix as an uninvolved OTT, you're not rooting for the careers of the people Actually involved in production, you're just a biased person wishing them less success and fame! π€¦ββοΈ
And as far as Uninvolved in Production OTTs, I'll Take Netflix over that awful Disney+ who restricts access......
Also Kocowa is not available in my region. Not quite the great OTT you think it is. Netflix and Viki are the only fair OTTs when it comes to Actual WIDE GLOBAL AVAILABILITY....
So we're getting AT LEAST that amount of pairings, though the last KBS 50 Ep kdrama kept 4 extra Pairings (5 if you count the runaway pair never seen) TOTALLY SECRET in promos.
...So hopefully there's some SUPRISE COUPLES here as well!
Love on the Menu (Star Screenwriter-nim! π)
Love Doctor (Ahn Pan Seok PD-Nim! )
Take Charge of My Heart
Nine to Six
A Love Other than Yours
Tantara
Merry Berry Love
Haven't yet started Spooky In Love, Perfect Crown and We Are All Trying Here; but all 3 seem promising.
I miss her romance kdramas, and Want to see her Paired with:
Kim Jae Wook (They we're actually paired in Bad Guy, I want to see them as actual Leads!)
Seo Kang Joon
Jang Ki Yong
Lee Min Ho
Lee Sang Yeob
Lee Joong Ki
Namgoong Min
or
Ji Chang Wook
PLEASE PLEASE HAPPEN!
This was surprisingly good?!
And cleaning plot likely boring sounding to most.
Explains why the drama is not popular.
...But Plot is really 9/10, SCRIPT IS REALLY GOOD!
# UNDERRATED DISCOVERY
*Goes and rates dramas with FLAT flawless empty shell characters as 10/10*

Kokowa is not a good OTT for all regions;
and to realize
people like Netflix due to AVAILABILITY , not because of shallow Hype π€¦ββοΈ.

LINK PLEASE!
the comments made me fear ep7-8, better wait to see how ep9-10 goes π π
I hope they course correct in ep9 and onwards, I don't want to have to drop the drama with this great cast....
