It will get ruined. The screenwriter is the talentless hack who wrote Love Is For Suckers, where characters get thrown under the bus/become annoying just to advandce a nonsensical plot. She's incapable of writing conflict so that the characters don't get ruined in the process. Not to mention, the drama was otherwise very boring too...
I'd rather they'll continue making ghost theme kdramas too and not just typical office kdramas only....
Maybe You just don't like the genre enough, that's why it comes across as many. Fans of the genre would actually enjoy getting more. The kdramas in the Reccs section of this kdrama all have ghost theme yet all very different from each other. They have way less in common than all the office romcoms have in common...
and the director is from dynamite kiss LMAOO oh it's a lost cause before they even film it
No director was not at fault for DK, it was the awful writer. I watched their other kdrama in past and dropped it. The DK writer is a talentless hack who only knwos how to write VERY INTERESTING Premises only in the dramas, but execution is like 3/10 lol π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ
The longer this is delayed, the more I suspect it's terrible and they know it and they're waiting to dump it all…
If you're right that it's indeed terrible, they would be looking to maximize people ignoring the kdrama by having it air at same time as very high quality kdrama or several HQ kdramas. Maybe they're indeed still analyzing what dramas would be smart to air this around....
I think we have to look at this drama from an unrealistic view, because the idea/webtoon is already unrealistic…
I just hope all the koreans shut up amd don't create yet anoyher weird "historical innacuracy". It's not even proper historical setting.
It's a FANTASY setting inspired by European culture. If anything, Europeans should be the ones more upset necause of copying Europe or inaccuraraies with European history.
But that's not going to happen, everyone knows better than to do that,It's just Koreans who have weird problems with kdramas that way π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ
....It will be EXTRA Upsetting of koreans dare complaining over this kdrama's Historical Inaccuraies, when it's copying EUROPE. Like it's not even based on their culture this time lol.
I will just revenge cry CULTURAL APPROPRIATION at the Koreans if they dare complain that it doesn't follow korean history lol.
This drama is worth giving a try to watch, just for the talented Director alone! He really knows how the elevate the atmosphere in a very satifying super beautiful yet hyperrealistic way.
Just let Ong pair up with Jo Hyejoo as a couple. Don't ruin us by giving another love triangle we don't need.
Watching Recipe For Love this year, the drama really got elevated alot into one best drama of the year so far simply for NOT having triangle and even having the 2nd Leads ship the leads and scheming in their favor lol.
Revolutionary. Can this ne NORMALIZED in all dramas from now on pleasse?!? It was super refreshing to watch! It's actually much more satisfying to watch than just cliche triangle....
50 episodes?πππππis that an error or something
?!?? Dailies and weekender Kdramas with many eps (50-200 eps) have been alive and well since 30 years.... Where have you been? Maybe you weren't even yet born or just new to kdramas, not bothering to exploring beyond the super popular ones. They aren't as famous globally, but in korea they still score 10-20+% in ratings on korean channels now even decades later, while koreans give shorter 12-16 ep kdramas only 1-5 % average viewership ratings....
Just think of them as a Different genre than the 12-16 ep kdramas. They're like Telenovelas, but maybe slightly less drama dpeneding on genre and more family focused. I definitely think they've improved over the years too. Less sexism and women allowed to be strong and working fun jobs, in past dramas women where just at home gossiping all day lol; and less over the top dramatic but more like super sweet and wholesome mixed in with only SOME drama these days. Also they used to rely alot of annoying misunderstanding plot that went on for half the drama lol. Nowadays they found a better way to tell these longer ones without misunderstandings going overboard. They made them more entertaining with better writiting, and keeping a better balance with only some necessary drama.
Morever the screenwriter of this kdrama is really reliable one, she wrote several of my favourite kdramas. So I'm really curious how she'll write a longer kdrama.
Even the plot is just my style!
Please I hope both accept!!
...and now I really like that idea as title. Please, they should have a title like this, refering to the setting.
*Adds to Plan to Watch*
I'm in!

I hope they pair him in a loveline with Choi Soo Young's character!

the plot sounds nothing like the title lol.
The title makes it sound like it's about a Psychologist/Therapist/Life Coach giving love advice lol,
meanwhile it's about 2 College Students and Robotics lol
....I'm sure there's an explanation, it will be clearer once it airs and Title will FINALLY make sense lol.

So I'm really curious how she'll write a longer kdrama.
She's generally good at picking scripts though, that was an exception.
Simply because, beside likability & good acting,
She's one of those actors who is VERY VERY good at picking her projects!
99% of her dramas are up to my taste!
Same thing happening with actress Han Ji Min.
These two actresses somehow always having an interesting project going!
