Actually he aces comedy too, so he could even take up a super silly Over the top comedy like Welcome To Waikiki!

Actually I think my favourite would be a Slice of Life Melodrama or dark romance for him. So well suited to that!
Or Revenge type kdrama...

It sounds very much like he's a very grounded man and not a shallow celebrity just shasing fame, but just wants to act and have fun with and be there for his friends 👍👍

Recipe For Love is so refreshing in the 2026 kdrama landscape with their total avoidance of Love Triangle, instead the 2nd Leads turn into their biggest shippers , scheming positively for the leads lol.
Many cute couples there, especially the non-spoiled in advance through marketing ones, that happen later on...

I really recomemnd to watch Can This Love Be Translated DESPITE not liking the lead.
(I assume you mean the ML actor?)
His character writing was amazing and his character was so DAMN charming there, I forgot I found the actor average at best lol.

I was also not a fan of the lead (actually of neither main leads lol), but I warmed up to Both when watching this drama. They both did sucha great job 👍👍.
Also
FL vibes reminded me of one of my fav Jung So Min in that drama (I don't know why, the vibes where simialr haha, I don't even understand why . Just sinaialr charm somehow 😅).

Anyway if you enjoy PSYCHOLOGICAL genre kdrama with real Depth, Much recommended!

The drama got hates from people who wanted a SHALLOW stupid Cliche Travel Romcom, but drama is much Better than that and goes much deeper.
It's the type of drama that makes OTHER SHIPS look Super shallow in comparison to the connection between the leads....

I prefer Recipe For Love and Can This Love Be Translated as Romance kdramas of this year over this one,

Not only he passed, he CARRIED the whole drama on his back and it was a VERY HEAVY BAGGAGE, as the drama was extremely mediocre at best,
he was basically the ONLY good part of the whole thing!
HE was the WHOLE show!!

Back in 2025 I only Completed a few and Sort of-Liked ish 3 Kdramas (NONE of whcih where 9-10 range, only 8.0-8.5)...

Like 2024-2025 Was really REALLY REALLY DRY AND BAD KDRAMA YEARS, and Last time great lineup altogether seen Was indeed in 2016...
