You're overestimating Jung Hae In.... Other male leads also did well under that same director, Wi Ha Joon, Yoo Ah In .....
There's a Super Realistic and very beautiful cinematography guranteed with the director...Like every pairing he directs actually gives real couple vibes and that it's almost like a beautifully shot documentary with amazing OSTs too....
But I did forget about Tantara though lol. Since it kept getting pushed back I forgot all about it and that it's supposed to air this year.
There's also usually the potential of talented rookies making kdramas, however this year and the last even the rookies have been disappointing, so likely only these very very few kdramas will be actually good... Lately from airing ones only a longer 50 ep kdrama (Recipe For Love) has been actually good, which is unusual....

I like the alternative monarchy kdrama trope and past kdramas with this trope, but the plot description here isn't very exciting..

It's definitely good they made it only 10 ep.
The one thing going for it beside highTech is how it skipped love triangle (unlike most recent kdrama romcoms which got ruined by love triangles)
If someone makes this irl in the future, it will become really popular...
