I LIKE this drama,. BUT I do not love it. It's a bit too lowkey and boring for my taste, but still worth to watch just for Ji Chang Wook & Shin Hye Sun, literary some of the best k leads in existance.
It's not even that boring, it's somewhat good, semi-boring, but my main complaint is JCW's boring countrypumpkin character, too simplistic lacks ambition, his silly obsession with weather is annoying, way too loud keeps yelling too much. I only put up with his character because he's played by JCW, otherwise would've dropped it for the ML character.š¤¦š»āāļø
I know since he grew up in Jeju, it's realistic to make him a bit of a simplistic countrypumpkin type, but they could've easily added ALSO more charming traits additonally to this typical countryguy persona, instead we get a loudmouth with an obsession about the weather š¤¦š»āāļø. His reedeming quality is loyalty and caring for FL, but still he is both annoying and VERY boring.
....Would it have killed the writer to have added a bit more Healer/K2/LovestruckInTheCity style cool or fun charms into the character or something?!? š¤¦š»āāļø
Ep 6 with the corrupt cops was so damn extra annoying to watch given what happened to Lee Sun Kyun.
Feeling the screenwriters frustation when they made the powerful person who owed the cops punished at to end, wish fullfiment of justice when none can be found irl...

It's hard to do anything or chase anyone if you're not interested in anyone. It looked like none of the girls was his taste. Imo I'd rather have a passive person there, who doesn't fake things, than someone fake-chasing a person on the show for popularity/fame.
The way Habin got hated on by panelists, contestants and viewers simply for being awkward, while showing no red flags whatoever (being akward with people isn't a red flag), While Mr red flag Gwang Hee got 3 girls, panelists (except Lee Da Hee) & viewers excusing his behaviour: didn't sit right with me. š¤¦š»āāļø

While the others forcing a relationship or clinging to person not interested in them lol. It's far more sincere to not give hopes, than have people you don't like back cling to you.

They are! Good, I'm actually not all that surpised they are friends after the show. They might not have clicked romantically, but he was comfortable to open up to her in that night in Paraise and tell her frankly about his struggles to open up, that was quite open of him actually, I can see them being friends and her being straightforward in telling him about his lame closed behaviours and him learning from her how to be more open. That paradise convo was one of the most honest ones on this show, I really felt that as a fellow akward introvert, and that that Hajeoung can really help him on the longterm.

She had LITERARY JUST BEEN REJECTED, and from her point of view, OUT OF THE BLUE. The panelsits we're so rude and not considering her point of view! Of course she acted cold and rude then, she was hurt about the rejection, at least she was honest, unlike many phony people there! š¤¦š»āāļø
The way she called out GwanHee in the girls room earned my respect!
She put on on cutesy persona at the start, but ironicalky was honest about it and showed her more intelligent deepr side, unlike most of these phonies why kept a mask on the entire show.

They were also to blame for his nasty behavior, the way they continued to strike his ego, and not stand up for themselves. Only Hajoung reedeme herself in the end by not clinging to a guy who wans't going to pick her.

Needs to learn to be more open and comfortable with people though, or maybe he simply didn't like any of the girls enough on the show to even try??? Anyway he at least started to open up abit there when he told Hajeoing his struggles to open up, that was actually being quite open.
He might also just be on the show to promote his acting career, that's why didn't bother lol, but let's be honest, so are the others too lol.
