Watched 1 ep, but couldn't stand the lead female's crappy acting. THIS is how you act sad/ almost suicidal!? It came across as a mix of bland and comedic and very cheesy!
By the way, there 's NO distracting DUBBING over their voices in this drama, unlike many other c dramas! The melo athmosphere feels also more like a k drama!
This is not for those who cannot handle sad, this drama will break your heart over and over multiple times! For…
It's an ambiguous happy/sad ending. Ep 16 ends happily with closure (can be seen as an ending), however ep 17 introduces incoming death hints with a sad ending at ep 20. HOWEVER they do not actually SHOW the person dying, just that there is no hope and that they will die at any moment. So if the OFFICIAL ending in ep 20 is too much to handle either just pretend it ended happily at ep 16 or that one of them didn't actually die at ep 20 since it was never shown and instead gained a miracle after the credits were shown.
As for kissing there is NONE, HOWEVER they're sensual in other ways to the point that you almost won't miss kissing, they have awesome hugs (no typical male only hugs her she doesn't hug back -hugs), cuddling/bed scenes in later eps, and look at each other with such chemistry-filled puppydog eyes! There's always an intense angst and longing for each other whenever they share scenes. Plenty of intensity between them, especially since the female lead is excellent at showing such intensity, very expressive eyes! He also looks at her like any woman wants to be looked at by a man. Also, there is a very awesome romantic scene at later eps where he is lying against his car bleeding & their faces very close where he will die and she says she wants to be with him forever, SO MUCH CHEMISTRY there!! I've read the actors are BEST FRIENDS in real life, that's probably why so much chemistry.
Also the VERY beginning of their lovestory is VERY rushed, but it gets more believable, and you come to see that these two are soulmates <3 Even if you get annoyed at the writing, their chemistry is worth it! Better couple acting than many others!
Unlike many it seems, I'm not yet quite LOVING this drama, just LIKING it. However it has only been 2 eps…
Quality tops popularity, there are plenty of actors better at acting than the absolute most popular actors! Choosing actors based on popularity rather than acting skill is beyond shallow, but I guess I'm talking to a wall here since you must be that shallow yourself. TO CLARIFY Gong Yoo isn't a bad actor, he's an okay one, putting him next to the likes of Dong Wook who has that something special sure makes him look bland. Different tastes in acting style and what you'd consider charming would propably be the explanation. Going by the majority's taste rather than your own true preferences is shallow, and usually the majority's taste sucks anyway
This is not for those who cannot handle sad, this drama will break your heart over and over multiple times! For those who can handle, I highly recommend this drama!
Wow things really did turn to hell the last 4 eps, so I guess ep 16 can be considered the ending then with the last 4 as only heart-fluttering bonus moments of OTP bed scenes. Will still rate this highly!
How to make a commercial that people will not only NOT get annoyed over, but even obsess over getting to see it... Oh just have this dream cast! Genius plan!
Unlike many it seems, I'm not yet quite LOVING this drama, just LIKING it. However it has only been 2 eps so I might still fall in love with this show. The bromance is okay and funny but not fantastic. I just realized I'm more of a Lee Dong Wook fan than Gong Yoo who is quite bland in comparison to him (SORRY Gong Yoo & his fans!). Also no Lee Dong Wook + Yoo In Na scenes yet, still shipping them more than the main couple lol
Currently watching this, it has its flaws but this is seriously underrated! I don't even normally like the style of C dramas, but this is great! The OTP chemistry is great and music wow! The female lead's acting is so great, she's stealing the show, even when there's Wallace Huo! Just finished ep 16 & can see it as a potential ending if these last 4 eps turn to hell, great drama!
Depends on how the characters treat the abuse. If the guilty party is forgiven in the end, like they often are in drama endings, then Yes they shouldn't have included the abuse in the drama! However, when it's taken seriously and no forgiveness, then it not only makes for good drama/emotional impact on characters but also makes people think seriously of real issues! So I think it's time to drop the ridiculous forgiveness and focus on bringing forth MORE abuse but that it's taken SERIOUSLY!

P.S. Sorry that's a very LONG explanation!
