Same. I’m trying so hard to understand her but she’s so unnecessarily biased! I don’t understand her logic about disliking him for being a protagonist. What kind of dramas is she watching? She is treating the protagonist ML from her drama script as if he were the villain/antagonist. The poor tragic ML. Misunderstood and mistreated. All with zero logic. I can’t even see how she’ll make up for all this. The hurt I see in Li Shiliu’s eyes every time she make mean assumptions about Nam Heng 🥺😢I don’t think I can forgive her

Have you watched Prisoner of Beauty? It’s not as stress inducing and OTP sprinkle in so many sweet moments that I watched almost every single minute at regular speed and shipped them so hard 😆 I think Guardians of Dafeng and Perfect Match are also good at not overly stressing viewers. The Double is kind of stressful but both leads are smart and kickass 🥰 (I love dramas too and couldn’t help but share some of my recent fave costume dramas😁).

I can’t drop dramas (I know. It’s a pain.) so I’m stuck but at least I’m stuck staring at LY 😍😅I def watch 2x (with finger hovering over FFWD) when the scenes start sending me into an anxious mess or are just boring because I still don’t know how I would get through 40 eps otherwise

trying to not get my Liu Yuning bias get to me, but it’s so hard watching Nan Heng so horribly misunderstood and up against foes in every direction…almost himself as well with FL’s nutty plan🤪. Can someone give me a little spoiler. When will FL warm up a little Nan Heng? Also, when will she see through SML?…although he is more annoying antagonist atp 😩

nuuuu!! I am on ep 5 and I already sensed this would be the case 😭 I just finished Kunning Palace recently and I am still lingering in my heartache over misunderstood ML. Now I’ll have to endure here as well 😖

uncle is father of SML and he knew from when SML caused chaos in the original hometown???!? YET he never revealed the truth which would have kept SML from causing even further destruction and pain? Poor Zhou fam and General Qin died for nothing. I’m absolutely dumbfounded why that horrible twist had to wait until the very end 🤦🏻‍♀️

I hate my inability to drop dramas. It’s complicated with this one too. I realllllly appreciate that there aren’t silly misunderstandings between OTP and they are such legit strong couple but everything else is just oooMgeee! such a drag. This would have been a cute 30…maybe 24 ep show. Imagine that 😂

The antagonist will have you whacking your head against the wall too. No matter how smart OTP act, the villains do some uncreative scheming and keep getting ahead but then still end up moping. I feel like no one is winning. Everyone is just miserable. The audience that got hooked with smart leads, clear communication and cute sides, are also miserable.🫩 I’m at ep 33 and I can’t wait until it ends so I can move onto Dream Within a Dream 😅

I see what you mean. my heart hurts for the poor dude. tossed aside by dad. used as a pawn. taking care of everyone but no one to take care of him. 😭 and then the person he cares for misunderstands him where technically they are so much alike and would be so good together. I’m glad they figured it out. 😂

Trust me, I tried to justify her actions with that thought, but even she realizes she mistook his intentions. She keeps saying “you killed me” but she literally took the knife to herself and when she did it, he was shook. She then finally starts reflecting at the last two eps and realizes she misunderstood him. Also, if you recall, she requests he pardon SML in exchange for her taking her life. She made her choice. He didn’t ask her to nor did they show him having aggression towards her. If you are given a second chance at life, reflect on all of it, not select people. Heck, it implies that Yan Lin treated her inappropriately (flashback shows him forcing her and she tells him an an ep how she had a dream where he “blew hot and cold” all night), yet she was able to try and do things differently with him this life. So she had logic until it came to him.

dang. they made the last few mins so cute and the kisses 🫣it doesn’t redeem all my heartache, but I’m not leaving *as* annoyed. 😅 Plot wasn’t too bad either. Nothing new and there definitely a hole here and there, but they treated the twists and turns nicely and balanced the baddie wins vs the good guy wins. The antagonists got what they deserved.
