I usually binge dramas until I’m ready to collapse (hj 😂) but why is this drama giving me so much anxiety that I can’t get myself to watch more than 2-3 eps at a time? She is lying and I’m afraid like it’s my fake life that’s on the line 😭 I mean, bravo to writer/director for successfully creating that tension where I can empathize with FL, but my little heart 😢

oh the push and pull and push! we’re at what would be ep 43 and we are now pulling the noble idiocy. I get his reasoning, but we are just too many eps in to be playing this game 🥱 I really like this OTP and I need them together already. I was okay with S1 of foundation building but why do we have to keep knocking it down now 😭

I totally understood her character but hated it all nonetheless 😂 as in, I know the purpose she served in the plot and her character motivation; it was actually a well written complex character. I just hated the fallout due to her actions.

Maybe I have watched too many dramas and binged at an overwhelming rate. You have reminded me to take a step back and enjoy each step of the journey with the characters, especially these lengthier and more serious dramas. Shenyi annoyed me and now here’s her brother to now annoy me some more. beyond these two, everyone else has been so amazing and the story phenomenal! FL is strong without being super arrogant. She isn’t just brain, she has a big heart as well. I heard this is amazing and S2 doesn’t keep up. The chem that OTP has built so far has been so sweet and I can’t wait to see FL realize her love for ML. 😍 I hope this unnecessary Liu Lang character doesn’t mess it up 🤦🏻‍♀️

omg this stupid girl. she has no right telling someone, especially her nasty ex, about Mudan personal life!! I am so annoyed at this girl and the worst part is I know she be forgiven because she isn’t a “villain” and just a doomy and Mudan is too kind hearted. **Shenyi should just die. done. 😩

omg. same. I am so afraid Shenyi will bring trouble for Mudan. I am almost at a point where I want her to disappear but I know Mudan will feel responsible and guilty. Girl just needs to listen to her friends with a brain!

I understand Shenyi’s character. She is broken and has very little self-confidence. She doesn’t feel needed and doesn’t have the ability to stand on her own yet is ashamed that FL is leading her and thinks she can’t be relied on like Fu for her strength and Lv for her medical knowledge. With all this, she is definitely going to cause trouble. I hope she doesn’t bring that trouble to FL 😭

that one gal that she rescued from her husband (Shengyi) comes off as a toxic friend at times. she is constantly whispering negativity or ill advice. she almost seems like a red flag boyfriend in some scenes when Mudan is getting close to Lv Gengchun.
