she said she lost 2 peopleā¦nah. girlie lost 3 ppl within a span of a few hours š her bestie, her suddenly found father, and her lover š ugly crying
FL usually has intense eyes but softens them when sheās in a romantic moment with ML, but the moment where her acting really shined through for me was her baby girl face at end of ep 37. That was so spot on someone having a touching moment with a parent scene š„ŗShe looked unsure, happy, shy, sad in that one gaze towards her father.
o m g. this drama is sending me on a rollercoaster. This poor lonely man. Both of them are so broken hearted by their limitations. they would be so good together š I should have checked just how happy or sad I will be at the end of this but Iām glad I didnāt because I donāt watch sad endings but now that Iām watching thisā¦even if itās a sad ending, thus far, itās so beautiful and Iām glad Iām watching it
āDonāt walk in front of meā¦Because when I see you, Iām blind to all other colorsā¦ā š the way sheās usually looking at him longingly š¢ itās heartbreaking and so sweet at the same time
And most of X handle just talk about some romance parts not about original plot that's why i hate X cdrama handles,…
Itās always the most egregious when the breaks tone of the scene or when, as I noted earlier, it dumbs down a character. For example that cafe scene, suddenly there is this playful music as he suggests the girl should acknowledge him for saving her as well (after the investor thanks him). I am enjoying BJT solving puzzles and kicked behinds, but then he suddenly seems to lose focus over the girl and itās making me so angry atp. I am at ep 11 and I know that girl is about to cause trouble just waltzing into that place all by herself š¤¦š»āāļø
I really dislike when thereās romance sprinkled into these kind of dramas. They donāt actually do any justice to the romance and end up hurting the real plot because main acts like they are missing a brain cell. I felt he was focused on the girl at moments where he needed to lock in. Like, bruh, you have 4 tries and one real shot - you already experienced a timeline of everyone dying and you are busy look at how cute she looks?? AND it is the cheesiest music possible? (Thatās coming from someone who loves romance dramas.) He grabs her in the chaos of one of the loops and the guy he needs to protect is elsewhere?
Worse š it becomes war - rinse and repeat. followed by palace politics - rinse and repeat. The antagonist will…
you would be realllllllyyyy annoyed if you keep going and find out the antagonistās motives š¤¦š»āāļø also those middle-ish eps where itās allll politics and mostly the crown prince acting like a brat!
I have to say. Cheng Lei did so well in his roles. His man in black scenes were just hawt and action packed. His puppy scenes as lost Jinan. His temperamental, warlord prince side. Truly well done šš¼
I enjoyed the drama but by the last 6 eps, for some strange reason, I couldnāt wait to be done šand now I kinda miss them. I think I had to pause my binge and it through off my groove š¤
yoooo. I didnāt realize Mo Yin is played by Darren Chen!! he looks so different. or maybe itās because I havenāt seen him in a drama since My Unicorn Girl š®
the whole crown prince having to be used as footstool by his brother to get into carriage is ridiculous. it just doesnāt make sense since he is crown prince. This doomy seriously doesnāt have that little power to stand up for himself. am I missing something??
That was doomed from the beginning. It was also obvious that she had conflicted feelings about ML as well. She…
they actually developed feelings over their common dreams to help the people after the experience in the village. I think both of their feelings were pretty genuine. maybe not passionate love, but they definitely determined they could share a life together. ā¦and I didnāt need that š I know it wouldnāt work out. obvi. but still š š
