I thought the misunderstanding was resolved pretty quickly but what it did was bring their miscommunication and differences to the fore. Not mind-blowing but it's hitting the right storytelling spots and the actors are doing a good enough job imo.
I get that it's frustrating, but honestly, the female lead is just acting like Su Yi Shui did when he was younger—rash,…
I like the overly crushy vibe funny enough. It's nice to see a FL be so open with her feelings. And it adds a layer of comedy I enjoy.
I'm currently watching A Moment But Forever and the FL is similar in the lack of self-preservation but in her case she has the power to back her actions up. Loving it so far.

I know it's part of her character growth but it is frustrating for me to watch even though I like the character. If I hadn't seen Qing Ge in action in earlier maybe I wouldn't be so impatient with Ran Ran. I have dropped the show for now. I'll likely revisit in a couple weeks or months.
I really want to keep watching but I can't deal with the FL being so rash/thoughtless and putting herself in harm's way while not having the power to actually solve the problem. The lack of self-preservation just rubs me wrong.
This is peak entertainment. I really don't care about any of the things I'd usually care about like a plot, etc. Half the time I'm pausing and going "fuckkkkk".
Dowon having Yiyoung vent on his behalf was cute. He's such a good senior and I hope he stands up for himself the way he does for his juniors. Dr Whatsherface has an insidiousness that you find in only the worst people. See how she set up the pieces with the professors so even if Dowon tried to say anything he comes out looking bad/petty.
I knew that sweet husband was sus the second he showed him. The misogyny jumped out. Glad she gave it to him hot hot.
Sabi thinking the back talk was about Yiyoung was hilarious. Their personalities are actually quite close when you deep it.
Loving this drama so much. I already feel sad for when it ends.
Omg not this sh*t again. I really hoped Dr Ku will do something about his paper getting stolen. But no, we got…
His nickname is literally Pushover. He knows it. The entire hospital knows it. That is the character, for now at least. I'm guessing his character arc will involve development in that area. I predict another situation with that doctor.
currently watching ep 2, and since the beginning the girl with glasses, Sabi’s acting has been bothering me…
She got a main role by auditioning for it. Shin Won Ho who directed Hospital Playlist was the producer for this drama and very involved with the casting. If you're familiar with his work you'll know he only works with the best talent. He/his team does not miss whether its with rookies, theatre actors, musical actors, or veterans. They find the most suitable actors. That she got chosen for a lead in her very first drama by this team tells you everything you need to know about her.
Maybe you're mixing up issues you have with the character for deficiencies in the actor. It's an easy mistake to make sometimes.
My cute puppy got a reality check. Needed to be done though. All the other doctors letting him getting away with being a nuisance. He'll be better for it though.
The scene with Yi-young talking to the little girl is just one example of why GYJ is such a good actor. Some dramas would depend on some kind of montage/flashback for that scene with the voiceover in the background but she delivered the lines, almost deadpan, and yet the emotional impact is massive. You can almost picture her as her child going through those things.
Wei Jiu is a perfect example of men not being able to take rejection. Bro launched a whole "I'll get mine and come back to show her" campaign. At least he was open about being the source of his grouse. A petty villain fr.
I'm enjoying this largely because I like the leads a lot but it could have been executed better, at least eps 2 and 3. The OTT characters are completely unnecessary. They throw the tone off completely. And then you're supposed to get re-immersed immediately in a serious scene. Scenes like Yoon Gap and his mother with the spoon, or him being disrespectful to the kind, provide enough comic relief without all the yelling and "funny" facial expressions.
That Johnny bit as well. It could have been better handled. he had every intention of raping that man. That he stopped for whatever reason does not make him any less a sexual assaulter and a bloody bastard. Then he turns it into some sort of prank, traumatising Akin for days. Nah. Fuck him fr. (Yes, I know. The source material is worse.)
So much this. Atp it's unclear what he really wants.

And Boat is hot af.
