It's insulting to a actor like Go Youn Jung to reduce her to nothing but a vehicle for your romance fantasies. She's played so many different and challenging characters and all you can think is visuals. Maybe you shouldn't watch any more of her dramas because she doesn't look she will be boxed into playing "pretty female characters vs pretty male character".

Myung Eun Won is a nasty bitch and quite manipulative but people like that thrive in a culture of seniority and non-confrontation like you find in SK. None of her actions have resulted issues for the hospital or professors (they know the kind of person she is), and they want to keep their senior residents, so they'll keep looking the other way. It's the person who blows the whistle who'll likely gets punished for causing trouble.

Funny enough the scene where Yi-young confronted her on behalf of Do-won? That would never happen irl but the writers threw that in for some reprieve. The writers are doing a fine job.

Willy's jawline competing with Babe's. He's a lot more like an Alpha than Charlie. Charlie trying to be dominant but just gives off puppy vibes. Willy on the other hand? Phew.

Oh boy. I was rooting for this show. I was with it until ep 4 and then poof. Logic jumps out the window. There was no need for the conflict. None whatsoever. Third KBL in a row that's turned into a disappointment. Is there something in the air?

This started out with promise and just went to shit pretty quickly. I had to wait a day after watching to make this comment because I was fuming. Something's certainly not right with the writers/producers. What a waste of resources. Nothing redeems this for me. Nothing.

YJS and Cha Seung-won together is comedy gold. They play off each other so well.

This is such a packed cast. Cannot wait.

There are two types of female side characters I dislike in romance dramas and this drama has both.

Seoksam trying to cheat and use apps. Lol.
Every time Hwang Jung-min "lost" his temper when they couldn't agree to or stick to a plan. And then saying he didn't plan to eat but trying everything was hilarious.
All the meals looked so good I can't pick one. They seemed to enjoy everything as well.

Yes! It'll be so nice to hear them share episodes that didn't make it into the final cuts. And even the ones that did. They're all good storytellers.

They should have a reunion episode! That'll be so fun. And yes, I also felt like I was on that trip with them. Coincidentally, my friends went to Vietnam on vacation and when they got back I kept talking to them like I'd been there as well. Lol.

I love the ending. It matches the tone of the drama and makes complete sense. This is easily the best fantasy C-drama I've seen. The characters are well-fleshed out and consistent and the actors did justice to the roles. The plot is A+. The world-building is excellent. I have zero complaints. This is a 9+ drama. Don't let the rating stop you.

You cannot get new residents in the middle of the year so the department tries to keep the ones they have. Plus her colleagues would be the ones to suffer if they actually leave so Dr Chu couldn't say anything to her either.

She was. Ep 1 of HP she told a mum "facts" that made it sound like she was responsible for how bad her son's condition was. Dr Ahn had to intervene and scolded her harshly. But you'll also consider she was a 3rd year resident so her "ineptness" wouldn't be as pronounced as Sa-bi who is in first year.

I completely understand Do-won's restraint around Yi-young and why he rejected her at first. At work, he's her mentor and senior. They are in-laws and live in the same house. A romantic relationship between them is not something to rush into. How would these dynamics play into that relationship? What if they break up? What makes Do-won Do-won is how deliberate and steady he is. That's why he's so dependable. He obviously likes her and we've already seen him softening and moving in her direction. I doubt the "rival" is going to make up 'fess up faster tbh. He's likely still going to keep his pace.

The Ep 7 OST by DK is such a beautiful beautiful song.

That was super underhand. The writers certainly took liberties there because that'd never happen irl.

Just want to say how much I love the was Shin Won-ho (and his team) cast for their dramas. The commitment to finding the perfect actor for each character is next level. Because how did they find the actor playing Do-won? He's only had small roles to date but see how he's killing this role. Can't wait to see his career take off after this. That face and smile is made for boy-next-door romcoms.

What feels forced or unnatural? One thing.
