That hard jerk on gift deserved repercussion and glad the princess there to do it. The seductress Yan Liš Is he really as undisciplined as he appears? Or is this how he has ear to ground about goingās on in capital? What better way to get info than to be underestimated. He and the Princess are good comrades in arms. They seem more sibling like than romantically inclined. She is taking Prince Chiās place as drinking partner. This will serve them both well in making the best out of matchmaking scenario they find themselves in. The Governor is getting his turn with autopsy viewing and it is going as expected. Princeās bet if he can keep from spewing. The princess knew he wasnāt winning this one.š They are making progress with the case and know Pang Patriarch is lying. The death of the salt trader is a new twist. They know he wasnāt happy with the angle Pang was giving as far as simply being an āacquaintanceā of the deceased. He had also figured things werenāt going his way when he was not getting promoted. His original plan seems to be to get out while the going was good. There was a change in plans which resulted in his murder. Who is the girl that found him? There is a mystery there that may or may not have some bearing on the secret between the three. Pang thinks he is free of whatever they had over him. Canāt wait to see the tables turned. Prince Yan Li is shrewd in heading to nemesis opera house to get the dirt on visiting troupe. He is right that it will be a promising place to get info for the case. Interesting info about the paper bindings. Prince Chiās gift comes at an auspicious time. It must give her some comfort reading her fatherās notes and getting info that helps with the current case. Pang heir is such a drama llama. It is fun watching her work those needles. Good to see her returning the gift of intimidation. He will hopefully restrain himself in future from bothering any of the ladies at the inn. Now to see who will sing more than opera from both of these troupes.

This is a warm fuzzy episode. Han goes to get Jian Danās phone. He has too much fun making a password. Swim girl removes her note from book and chats it up to a math major so he checks out book from library.š Han pouting at her having a boyfriend.š Best friend made up for leaving phone. Those two girls made each otherās wish come true and their guys got the wishes to make it happen. š„° I hope Jian Dan is working on his math problem. Thanks to best friend he knows she is his math penpal. Canāt wait to see how they complete the wishes.

Cosplay couple are adorable. That girl can eat!š She really gives her all to her causes, but I am grieved she forgot Jian Danās phone. Her idol was jealous thinking a blind date. š So relieved she was selling her figurines. Math lovers getting ready to meet. Returning girl probably going to find phone or find way to interrupt this time. Mean girl roommate doesnāt know about meeting to interfere.

The professor gave their project a C because both slides and oral presentation equal parts of the grade. Jian Dan upset because her scholarship is now in question. Return girl is acting all nice finding her jobs. She just wants Jian Dan away from campus. The cosplay partyā¦ā¦her roommate and idol are very damn cute. She is so loud and he is so quiet. They complement each other nicely tho in spite of it. Han feels bad about the project so offering classes on how to write a publishable paper. When she asks about the slides, they finally compare notes and it is clear the text is not on her phone. Maybe now she will keep her devices away from mean girl.

Rock climbing club is a success. And now to cosplay girl. So cute telling her idol how cute and impressive he is .š These two are very sweet. Love surveys are finally finished. Presentation to class going sideways because mean girl deleted a text and wrong info posting on slides. Since Jian Dan knows her roomie is both obsessed over Han and a revenge seeker, she should be keeping all her devices under lock and key. This time, I have a bit less sympathy. She could have prevented this with some precautions.

These twoš She gets top marks for effort. His assist turns into an accidental kiss thatās on a par with Spider-Manš As contrived as this is, itās fun to watch. It is a shame that returning girl is another mean girl in disguise. She acts very sweet, but once she threw out the barrette, you saw the real her when jealous. Han has no clue and Jian Dan will now get heat from two girls. Her roommate ms fortune tellerš she is quite the taskmaster on beach while our girl is training. Tenacity does win out as she got the signature she needed for club space. However, there is a big caveat - she has to have five people join or it is automatically disbanded. She has the heart to lead a club, but getting others inspired enough to join is a whole other bailiwick. Hereās hoping Mr swim team cpt gets her popular enough for her club to exist. Best friend has phone all ready to record.

Han has a conscience and replaces the phone he broke. Circumstance makes Jian Dan look guilty but itās lovely cake girl setting her up.š Her other good intentioned roommate got her in bad graces with the math professor. Han has no reason to think her smart, but I canāt wait til he finds out differently. She smiles over math problems the way I smile over ice cream.š This is a really cute drama and it makes me smile. There are unexpected touching moments in itā¦like him overhearing her call to Gma and getting her a phone. He is still a jerk to her, but he canāt help himself. He doesnāt get cake girl is the culprit. She also seems to find him wherever he goesā¦.like their party for returning studentš

When they get to warmer climate those soldiers need to learn how to swim. Glad Princess took care of pretty boy and hope Qin daughter has learned that all that glitters is not gold. It was a rather fantastical series of events that led to their rescue after that. But what saved the episode was the best proposal ever. He sees who she is, understands what she wants, and sees them as perfect fit to walk together. That portion well done.š„°

Did not expect the son in law to be the hidden patient. That was an interesting twist. Now it seems they are making heart recipients act like the donor. So pretty boy agreed to play along to get heart? I am guessing they were going to have fake elopement be excuse for Qin daughterās absence and then have a nice young girl heart candidate.šI am not so happy about Wanās choices. She doesnāt give the Prince credit to delegate and in her determination to protect him, she keeps him out of the loop and does too much solo. If she had fighting skills or used medicinal tricks to knockout others and escape, this would be more reasonable. She shows potential with her attempts to predict and override any knockout meds from doc via food or tea, but her inexperience was not ready for anesthesia. There is no telling when the message she left for Prince Chi will be received because he is chasing down whereabouts of Qin daughter. Wanās senior looks out for her and has a heart to heart with Prince about his intentions, but he really is too slow on the uptake to be of any real use in investigation. The doctor knows he has to silence Wan because she caught on to what was going on with the animals. He even applauded her attempt to counter him. But while he gloats and sips tea, Wan, senior and Princess are unconscious and need rescued. The prince could have coordinated his efforts better had they chatted first and compared ideas for the logistics of tracking culprits down and keeping the group safe while in the thick of it. Wan often does this as a last resort and this isnāt working when so little defense muscle is in the group. This puts them both at most risk because they waste time trying to figure out what the other is thinking rather than just making a plan together.

The Qin sisters get on my last nerve. I agree with Princess, being confined with them will only encourage cursing.š Prince Chi tried to get her to stay while he wrapped up pawnshop case, but she felt most appropriate to travel with her family. So Prince gets her a new family. She is now a 4th daughter. š„³It was hilarious to see Prince knock down Qingās proposal before it could be heard. He figured out how to get them related rather than married.š I am glad Wan has a new family. And Grand Princess will prevent any strong arming the Qin family might try to pull on marriage alliances. There is a deed for something in that box and Grand Princess wants our girl to have options. As she wanders to that elaborate rocking horse, she is remembering her youth and dreaming of grandbabies. She nudged the Prince to speak up but he figured heād won when he shut up the other guy. Haha after seeing comments I read that wrong, she was telling him not to gloat. But I know whose children she envisioned on that rocking horse. Before Wan leaves he gives her the token from his family, and then shamelessly camps out on her daybed.š I was curious about pawnshop but guess we will learn from flashbacks later. The place where Wan and family stop is weird. The people are hostile and the weather seems likely to trap them there. The doctor was friendly at meeting, but that āhealingā spot for his wife looked more like an occult sacrifice area. That looked like a corpse lying there. The locked up patient and people being drained with organs taken puts him in Frankenstein territory. The cousin I found off putting when he was going to let those guards tear into those people. Granted they were an outraged mob, but they were obviously outclassed with fighting skills and that would have been slaughter not defense if continued. At first I was happy they were staying with the doc, but now I want the Prince and carriage to arrive at same time to get them out. But I am pretty sure they will be stuck in goat horn city til the mystery is solved. š I am glad the princess is with her and I want to see Wan get lessons with that weapon. I know her senior isnāt part of the weird doc cult, but that son in law wreaks of weird like the doc. One or both of them is hiding a lot of dark under a fake sunbeam of goodwill.

Things got brutal at the club. Xiao Guang and Yi Ran saw two barely legal girls getting their drinks spiked and intervened. This turned into a brawl. Here YiRanās chemistry skills came in handy again as he laid a fire trail that lasted til the rest of the crew could rescue them. The brawl was not completely a bad thing because as rounded up by the police they found out about meth called Lucifer and had more people to interrogate about it. The drunken businessmen were beaten by staff but the one that took the brunt of it was the only one that didnāt want to participate. Turns out he was the the little girlās dad. Bei just missed his new friendās sis in the hospital. Xiao Guang is now buddies with YiRan since they survived a battle together. He now calls them friends for life.š

So this gun shoots shotgun shells and makes serious damageā¦the shot from last episode must have just been visual effect to end episode. It was genius cooking the beers tho took a long while to activate. But that was a nice return shot to all of them. Mr book learned cop did decent fighting on his own. ZB got there just in time to finish things up. So this grudge is both ways as this prisoner was the partner of the one who shot cop we saw in flashback. I am pretty sure ZB wanted to blow his head off. The Blue Aurora has tipped its hand as being the spot for drug distribution. The owner has already been dealt with and Qin Yi has already claimed it as his. These guys sit around chatting and eating while somebody getting killed right beside them. Just another day at the office.š Beiās new friend is dealing with the hotel ownerās son who is still intent on a hostile takeover of the cab business. He sits there so calmly eating noodles with total chaos all around him. š¤£ And for Beiās own mom to speak up in his defenseš So ZB is now painting a nice target on his back and itās starting to include his familyās restaurant. He is trying to talk them into going away for awhile which is a really good idea. The godson is getting a chat because now Qin Yi wants to know why so close to ZB. He will now be walking an extra fine line between both worlds. The episode ends with the squad heading to Blue Aurora Club. I am liking this series. Itās nicely paced, the fights well choreographed, and the actors do a great job showing the juxtaposition of crime lord vs detective. It also is including the overlap that good and not so good people are still people and family. So there is a big messy gray area on both sides.

Whoever just got out of prison has a big grudge with ZB and takes it to the restaurant. The legit taxis and the illegal cabbies get into an all out brawl as the younger tries to take out the older gen mobsters. This sin of hotel owner is loud, full of him self and thinking heās ready to take the turf of the established gang. For one little dude, the godson does some serious damage. He finds himself chatting with Bei in the station. ZB is wasting his breath he just doesnāt know it yet. But this delay is costing his family since the released prisoner is there and things getting ugly. When he fired the shot was not expecting buckshot . Iām hoping the family makes it out the back and that Bei understands the clue GYR gave him.It is funny watching the rest of the crew try to be drug smelling dogs in the cabs. But as silly as that seems, they are starting to make progress in intercepting the drugs and understanding the logistics of distribution. All the drug lords are feeling it.

This episode has the chief rolling his ankle and going to hospital. While waiting, ZB tells GYS about his first and last drug bust with his two mentors. A motorcycle literally T-boned them. It turned out to be dealers and one mentor killed and the others severe leg injury from the unexpected shoot out. Both of these two have lost somebody due to drug trafficking and both invested in taking it dow. The drug lords arenāt happy that product is missing or with each other. The latest round has them on guard and wanting to finish their original deal and be done with each other. Our team finally having some of the training kicking in. ZB now recognizes the conductor is an addict. Through him, they learn that with him alone bribed, a dealer can basically run the entire train transporting goods with no checks. Very low tech and very efficient. We are now shown one of the bosses works through taxi company. The perp they missed the other day was targeted and eliminated. But the police getting their drugs isnāt sitting well with anybody. The underlings have been making their own side deals with the result of the first case with the brothers. They are now tightening up their men and inflicting death for disloyalty. It is making an impression. This venture is getting to the private rooms to find out who the dealers are and how they move product. Everything is going fine until ZXY comes across a room with old leches trying to rape a young waitress. She knows they are not supposed to mess this up, but she takes them to task anyways. The reinforcement cop worked with her to disguise it as a prostitution bust. ZB is beyond angry when the get back and has some very harsh words with her. He knows he went overboard but not about to admit it. So when he finds her sleeping at her desk he brings her food and offers to take her home. He then tells her other options to consider to stop the activity without blowing her cover. It is interesting watching the machinations from both sides of the law.

So the family of girl trying to make friends with ZB. If he only knew who he was really dealing with. They made some progress and set up a fake buy for red dragon. The guy was killed before they caught up to him but they did at least get the drug. GYR is still not liked. But he isnāt hated either. The group just likes brawn over brain and tough customers to changing their routine. They are seeing he literally has the nose for it as the smell is how he found the dealer. This group has not meshed yet but trying to comply hoping that will get GYR transferred back where he came from.
