Rumour has it that Xu Kai's next to-be-filmed drama is drama, so they probably waiting for this drama to boot that's why both of them not in filming yet. And it's normal for Xu Kai to have gap between filming because he will go back to his hometown for break after filming finished.
I love Xu Kai, but was hoping for Xiao Zhan and Bai Lu in this one as I had read somewhere that they were rumored…
This drama's script comes from unpublished book so it's considered non-IP. It has not appeared on any platform list of to-be-filmed drama so there's no way there were rumoured of actors. When the drama title first appeared on Weibo, it already linked to Xu Kai and Jing Tian's name. I think you mistaken some other drama title maybe.
Wow. This is my first time seeing them ruin a great drama in such a spectacular way in literally the last episode.…
The story is so good up until Ep 34/35 -ish. After that seems like somebody took over the scriptwriting. Doesn't feel like same scriptwriter with the earlier plot. Anyhow, you can still enjoy up till ep35. Then maybe if you want some closure to their relationship, go to ep40.
I normally don't root for CP. But I want Yang Mi and Xu Kai again in another healthy relationship drama. Their intelligence and emotion play match so well here. and their quirkiness too.
They love each other so much but both of them are too stubborn that's why they suffer😑
You know, I really love the scene where Qin Shi goes to trap Jason Wang then even though Tao Jun Hui reported to Yang Hua and it seems like Yang Hua unbothered by that, he knows Qin Shi very well and he already had planned how to deal with Jason Wang. Instead of aimlessly going to street to find Qin Shi, he goes straight to Cheng & Hui and provides what they need. It can be seen he worried sick for Qin Shi when they back at their house. Introverted people shut down when they worried too much. I like this dynamic better, they don't really need much words in their relationship, just a deep understanding. That's why Qin Shi was so sure Yang Hua will come to her.
What happened to XK in the last few episodes? He had very little screen time. Did he have to leave the set to…
I heard quite number of his scenes being deleted. He doesn't really have strong team to fight for his scenes to be included in drama. It happens many times already. Both YM and XK as leads used to attract investment, but you can see other supporting actors' agents doing good job getting more scenes for their artists (e.g: Qin Wenyu, Wu Fei). I want a spin off of Qin Shi and Yang Hua only with their healthy relationship.
Any news about this drama?? what actually seven tan nd Xu kai is doing now??
Xu Kai just finished filming Sword and Fairy drama, normally he will take 1 month break before entering another filming. There's rumour this drama will start filming mid-december.
xu kai's best leading lady acc to you guys? (character & chemistry wise)
Lingjian Mountains's Zhang Rong Rong's Wang Wu. Their sarcastic banter is so hilarious. But now I like Yang Mi's Qin Shi too. Yang Hua and Qin Shi really compliment each other.
It is a mature drama. I actually wouldn't advise teenage viewers for this, becos drama might feel too slow or…
Well said. Suitable for working age group. They can relate well. Might be boring a bit for the younger audiences with no working experience. I like this, it covers the phase of adults' dilemma at works etc etc.
I don't know what level of acting that you are anticipating, but just watch when you think you like his acting…
Yeah, Fu Heng is melancholic, but he respected WYL's life decision, I love that. I would love to see Xu Kai playing comedic character again too, he's natural in comedy. Doesn't feel forceful and scripted.
I don't know what level of acting that you are anticipating, but just watch when you think you like his acting…
Xu Kai portrays all his characters towards positive light (I don't really watch The Legends, FIYS and Kunlun so I don't know these characters 😅), so all his characters got positive points despite the ups and downs of human nature. He didn't dramatize his portrayal.👍
I don't know what level of acting that you are anticipating, but just watch when you think you like his acting…
The character settings are not my type. That's all. Xu Kai did justice to all his portrayal and I know why these characters are popular but I like a grounded one. Wang Lu doesn't have any burden of the world's opinion, he knows what he wants to achieve, a very positive character. While Zhu Zhan Ji is so stable. He's calculative, knows people by heart but he didn't let his prejudice get in the way. He still believe the best from people, even from Yuan Qi who betrayed him. These are my fav Xukai's portrayal. You know when the last time I like a character settings? It was Asou-kun of 1 Litre of Tears back in 2005! Fu Heng is good too but he's too affected by his broken promise to Wei Ying Luo.
Xu kai is ok right now. I think with more experience n especially focus he will be better. I was expecting him…
I don't know what level of acting that you are anticipating, but just watch when you think you like his acting or his drama. I'm mostly watching J-drama previously, I never understand the C-drama culture of "anticipating actor's rise". 😅 They are actors right? They deliver drama to the audiences. If you like it, watch it. Don't watch if you don't like. If you're interested in his acting, follow it. If not, no one force to stay. You can feedback your view about his acting to him. Whether his approach suit you or not, that remain to be seen. Whether he improved or not, deliver the role or not, it depends on each individual eyes. Everyone has different eyes on seeing things. I'm not so fond of all of his characters. I only like Wang Lu and Zhu Zhan Ji.
