First, you got the actor wrong, the one got involved in scandal is Xu Kai Cheng (https://kisskh.at/people/8374-xu-kai-cheng) not Xu Kai.
2nd: This drama is not postponed, it hasn't got the airing license yet since they just finished filming in February this year. Tencent target to release this drama on Q1 2023.

The rumoured ML now is not Cheng Yi. It's Jing Boran.

I hope I can see more works from this scriptwriter. Her works always insert life lessons and the villains got background story on how they became like that. Not outright evil without basis.

This will do for number of episodes exceed 50 but the censorship for this drama is they need to cut out tomb related part.

I think they don't have much faith in pure male frequency, that's why they added the CP. Because most of chinese drama, having CP sells the drama most of the time. Honestly, DYQ and LYS play is enough to carry the plot.

I know drama part change many part of the original novel so that it can be filmed, in the original novel DYQ's gf appear at the last part after they solved all the mysteries. Maybe that's why it feels like it didn't fit with the drama. I also could not feel the romance's significance in the whole drama. All the sweet moments feel like parallel universe with the plot of resolving all the mysteries.

Ding YunQi and Luo YunSong fishing play is so good. It serves as storytelling for this drama. Otherwise I can't follow up the plot.

I'm trying to recall back Haolan as I watched this back in 2020😅. Similarity are they all have characteristics like stubborn, courageous, bold. YZJ has wisdom, WYL has cleverness but Haolan doesn't have these but when situation needed, she's not that dumb to be wipe out by others. She will do what needed to be done to survive.

Wu Jin Yan should act more in historical dramas compare to modern. She just have the right temperament to adapt with harsh environment in the ancient times. I like her Wei Ying Luo, Haolan and Yao Zi Jin.

I think it's error on page. 48 eps was the filling back in 2018. Last year the filming cert showed 36 eps.
