There will be a season 2 for sure, or the story would be incomplete. They have deliberately ended the Season 1 like this, Yao Lao's ring taken by Han Feng, Xun'er stealing the Tou She Ancient Jade, Xiao Yan almost on verge of death, so these issues would slowly build up in next season.
In the novel, Xiao Yan always kept the Jade with himself so that he could exchange it Soul Hall if needed for his father's freedom, as his father was kept alive, and Yao Lao's soul was taken away but his ring was still with Xiao Yan, also. It is a mess compared to novel, there is so much to write on their differences, it would become an essay.
Although it highly deviates from the novel, still it is interesting to watch and it was worth watching.

Martial Universe , it is from a shared universe, and it was nice to watch.

He is extremely weak here(when he fights with Yun Shan and Misty Cloud Sect) , I think he is just a Dou Grandmaster( Da Dou Shi) or at most Dou King( Dou Wang), as the drama deviated from novel. According to the novel when he first went to confront Misty Cloud sect, he was a Dou Grandmaster, far weaker than Yun Shan and Fan Lao, but he still managed to kill an elder of the sect, forgot his name and then ran away. Later he prepared for many years, made a Xiao Gate near Jia Nan Academy, from where he took his army to destroy Misty Cloud Sect totally, he was a just around a Five Star Dou King at that time, while Yun Shan had become a Dou Ancestor , he barely could defeat him, and in the process, Yao Lao was taken away by the Soul Hall. So, in the movie, he is shown to be excessively powerful at a time before in the novel which he actually wasn't, he could compete and stand someone with not more than 1 level ahead him, for eg. being a Dou King, he could compete at most with an elite Dou Emperor, not more than that.

Yeah, I think so too that it will air after Legend of Fei ends maybe, will be released as surprise

There won't be much of an ending in this season. I think if it follows the book, it will surely end at most at the part after Martial Soul Hall''s Soul Master Competition ends, and Tang Hao fights epic with Bibi Dong and Soul Hall finally. Of course this is just speculation

Which episode you are at, till Ep 34 I have watched , I don't think Li siblings know about him, Li Yan obviously not. But I think maybe Li Sheng knows a bit, for he spends most of the time with Wu Chuchu, and she knows about Xie Yun, that he is a prince and a bit of his past too. With his quick intelligence, he must have his own opinions on who Xie Yun maybe, or she may have told, but of course this is just a speculation.
Li Jinrong, I think may not know him as well, her husband won't share such a sensitive information with her through letter. No one knows him, I think , except his own people(Wang Lin's men, Gantang etc.), Chen royal, top rank demons, immortals of Penglai and Chuchu and Ah Fei.
