Maybe they’re airing them now since it’s the national holiday / mid autumn festival, and people would be too…
Even if it was the case, which I honestly don't know, that doesn't explain August. I think there's really some form of stupid trend there with Tencent warring with iQiyi over people's attention. Really annoying. Each one of these drama could blow up if aired at different times, yet they want to compete with each other at the same time...
Xu Yan's father is really terrible. At least her mom seems to have an once of guilt but the father? I'm glad he's out of her life. I'm not sure the drama intends to give him a redemption arc... I feel like Xu Yan's needs him to atone for her to heal but at the same time, I don't think her father deserves forgiveness even if he does a 180 one day... Dude obviously considers that giving food and a roof was more than his daughter deserved I guess. At least, Xu Yan is not letting him get away with his gaslighting.
LOL the horse riding scene in episode 9. It's very obvious they put an adult to ride the horse and not the kid... I'm like GUYS! This is CHINA. With how big the country is, don't tell me they couldn't find another kid of the same age who knew how to ride for this scene, but whatev'.
It's annoying how C Dramaland always releases the most anticipated shows at the same time... We went for weeks without anything of value to watch and now they're airing Love's Ambition, Fated Heart and Love in the Clouds literally at the same time. They did the same in August with Legend of the Female General, When Destiny Brings the Demon, Moonlit Reunion and Shadow Love...
Can they just space them out better? Can't follow the pace. I'd like to follow these as they're airing but with how fast episodes are broadcasted, it's just Mission Impossible to follow more than 1 airing C drama at a time ( not talking about the short web dramas of course).
Glad it's available on Viki since I only have a Viki and iQiyi subscriptions... But sadly I'm swamped... This one will probably have to wait for December at the earliest >_<
unpopular opinion but i hope the ML's personality will not do a full 180 cause i like his scheming ass lol BUT…
I don't mind if he remains a scheming a**hole AS LONG AS it's in order to help Xu Yan. Otherwise, she can just leave him in the dust for all I care. I mean, Xu Yan is the same after all, it's just that her scheming is not made to hurt anyone.
True the early episodes are a hard watch... The FL is truly having it baaaaaaaaaaaad but that will also make the…
To be fair, there's so many spoilers going around that I already most of what happens ( I don't mind though because I'm dying from curiosity)... But since I haven't seen their fallout yet (I've just finished episode 8), I'm not as enraged as everybody... Though I'm sure I'll be once I get to episode 14.
Personally I think I'm just going to avoid this thread altogether starting tomorrow... I really don't want to spoil myself the redemption era. That's the best bit, so I'd rather go blind. I mostly stayed here because as you know, honestly the part leading to the divorce is difficult to watch. Not that the drama is bad, but it really rises my blood pressure to sky levels so knowing what's coming up allows me to "lessen the blow" so to speak.
However... Since after the divorce, we can expect the FL rising up and the ML regretting his actions... which basically makes for great drama without inducing any additional blood pressure ( or so I hope), as curious as I am, I'd rather patiently wait for the episodes to be available on Viki :D
Actually Indonesian's answer is the preview for episode 19. Savvygl is the one for episode 20 which just infuriates me. Whether it's for show or not, I don't care. Girl's been literally rebuilding her career from scratch, just let him deal with his own sh** on his own. That will teach him some manners.
What the F is that preview for episode 20? I REALLY HOPE It's a misleading preview and they're both just temporarily putting up a front. Man needs to GROVEL HARD before Xu Yan's lets him back into her life. Just sayin'
Don't forget its like 1960 so most people wont jump to the conclusion that the prince is gay( pretty sure a lot…
Oh they sure did know gay people existed... Being Gay is not new. To Sir With Love is set in an older period and the term "Cut-Sleeve" is used repeatedly.
For the record, it comes from the literal translation of a Chinese expression. Some Emperor in old China used to be known for having this type of "tendencies" and had one favorite lover. One day as he was spending time with his male soulmate, the lover in question fell asleep on his sleeve as the Emperor was sitting next to him writing (you know the very long sleeves they had back then). Since he didn't want to wake up his lover, he cut his own sleeve hence the term.
It's actually pretty romantic.
It's more a matter of him WANTING to be oblivious. Sasin is a free spirit for sure, but thinking that Saenkaew is gay would also mean looking into his own feelings and I'm not sure he was ready at the time of that particular scene.
From bts and spoilers, we see Yu Yi Ming ends up with her sister Qiao Lin. But might be like he first confesses…
Ooooh Thank you! Well I'm not "enraged" yet at the ML given where I am in the series so I trust they'll do a good job changing my mind when I get into that state😄
There's so many spoilers going around, I was sure this was something I could get an answer to ^^ Well gotta be patient then :D
Is Yu Yi Ming supposed to end up with Xu Yan's older sister or is he going to pursue Xu Yan after her divorce since he obviously hasn't forgotten her? OR do we get another male rival coming later?
I mean... SURE. I want Xu Yan to learn to value herself more and give priority to herself instead of tiring herself out in order to get some crumbs of love from literally everyone... So it's OK if she ends up alone... BUUUUUUUUUUUT!
There's absolutely nothing that gives more pleasure to my sadistic self than a groveling ML wallowing in bitter regret and the wronged party walking to the sunset with a better man.
There was this K drama called "A Poem a Day" which I dropped (but spoiled myself the ending) but the short story was, there was this girl who was deeply in love with another dude. The guy never liked her and humiliated her publicly repeatedly...
And then they end up working in the same place and the chief of their department falls in love with her. Dude is really into her, super green flag, he's cool, handsome, kind and loves her hardworking nature and find her blunders utterly cute.
By the time, the first guy realizes he made a huge mistake ( I mean it's ok to not like her but WHY did you need to add humiliation to the equation?) and tries to correct his ways i.e be less arrogant and kinder... It's too late. She doesn't give a sh** and goes out with Mr Green Flag... though from what I've seen of the end, Mr Arrogant did grow as a person from this experience and became a good person by the end, but it was too late to get back what he had lost. She still accepted him as a friend... which is a lot since there was a point she didn't even give him the time of day ( and rightfully so)
I'm really curious if they'll dare to do an ending like that. Either ways, as long as my girl Xu Yan is happy that's fine by me.
I'm still at episode 8 so things haven't yet exploded... Probably gonna stop coming here though... I've already been spoiled too much and I'm watching on Viki so the drama is probably gonna end a week after the Express release on We-TV. I'd like to savor the best parts without being spoiled 😈😈😈

Nasty kid. But again, like his father I guess.

F*** them all and just escape on a remote Island.
