It’s still every day, but looks like from Monday will be only 1 ep per day (but not sure)
Bummer... Glad you're not sure then... 1 per day means days without any release on Viki.
On Genie, Make a Wish Oct 4, 2025
So basically both top reviews were written from people who watched at 4 + speed... So totally useless. The dude who gave a 1 didn't even bother to watch the whole series, if you check the comments of said review they admit they haven't even bothered to watch 13 episodes contrary to what their review says. They actually only watched 1. Wonderful.

Then we have the religious offended suspects. Muslims as usual. And I come from a Muslim family myself, been raised as one , but at least my family is not full of zealots, when they don't like how their religion is portrayed, they just don't watch it and move on, they don't go review-bombing said shows on all websites.

How many K dramas have portrayed demons, angels and whatnot in direct relation to Christianity? Do these shows ever get review bombed for wrongful representation of their religion? Do you need to be offended by every single thing all the time?

It's fiction. Grow up or Go away.

So reviews? Useless. Comment section? Useless.

I haven't watched the two leads previous drama together. I don't care about both of them as actors... since I haven't watched most of their projects... if any... I only care about the show... I was hoping to find something useful in comments or reviews to know if I should give this show a try given how much K dramas have mostly sucked lately..

But sadly one has to filter through all the dirt to find a relevant comment and there's also not many of them since they're buried under useless complaining about nothing. This comment section is as useful as the one for Queen of Tears except here, they don't even have a valid reason to get offended.

If you're one of these review-bombing zealots, please do answer under this comment. I'm using this as a post to block any member who wants to bring their political and religious agenda in a place where I just want to relax.

One zealot has already been blocked so they'll probably never see this post, but I always welcome getting rid of toxic members so please be my guest.

Is the new schedule still not out yet?

Viki isn't showing which episodes are gonna be released tomorrow - if any ( we got up to episode 19 today) and the forum's page doesn't have an updated picture😭😭😭

Everyone WeTV sucks! I cant even watch Express on my pc. it needs to be watched on their app so have to watch…
I used to have a We-tv subscrition but when I realized how much it sucks and most of their dramas are available on Viki anyway, I gave up. You can't even personalize how the subtitles appear, you can't directly pay on the website ( when I very scarcely use my phone in the first place), and using a VPN to have access to certain shows, particularly Thailand, doesn't work most of the time... AND WHEN IT DOES, you usually don't have access to English subs.

I only use We-TV to check the new trailers.

Title Love's Ambition Spoiler
Guys someone said what if the child is of that lawyer 💀🙏
That's actually a pretty interesting theory... I read in a previous comment that Fang Lei had faked the report about the paternity test so that that Hao Ming was the father when her sister actually had the child with a painter, in order to still be part of Hao Ming's life...
But that might have been a spoiler from the novel...

WHAT IF!

The lawyer was actually in love with Fang Lei's older sister and felt that Hao Ming stole her from him... Than, both broke up, and drunk, she hooked up with the lawyer who had always loved her... Then got pregnant, died and Hao Ming took the child...

Then years later, he learns that Hao Ming has a little brother and discovers the boy is actually his son. He might think that Hao Ming took the child in out of guilt not knowing that Fang Lei faked the paternity test...

That's pretty crazy... But would be a pretty wild ride if it happened to be true.

I’m watching this on Viki, does anyone know what time the episodes release on there? (please include your time…
For Viki basically IF Viki is behind Tencent, the episodes are released around 7/8 am (UTC +2) sometimes even earlier ( such as 5 am UTC+2).

IF Viki caught up with Tencent, the episodes are released at the same time i.e 12 am for me UTC+2 which is the case now.

Episode 19 to 20 (21 Express) are released today by Tencent.

Episode 17 to 19 by Viki. Viki can't release earlier than Tencent obviously hence the fact that the release time varies depending on how close we are to the main channel release.

I think we have a certain impression that older actors are more experienced ...but the truth is that they can…
Lol Doesn't work either. That could work if she had been from a farmer's family, leaving a rough life plowing the field... but she's from royalty... So basically after marriage and giving birth, her job was basically attending parties with her husband and caring for the kid... Which could be challenging if you were like most women i.e working on the side to support the family even if you weren't the breadwinner but not her.

Also there's a huge misconception about people living in the past dying young. It's actually a huge mistake. The average age of death was very low mostly due to the very very high rate of death for children.
There's this misconception about having big families in the past but having lots of children was necessary since over half of them died before reaching adulthood.
Basically if a child managed to live, your rate of survival would drastically increase and there's countless examples of people dying as old as we do now in the past... and I'm talking Roman Empire age here, not 100 years ago.

She's just bad. I know you wanna be nice, but let's not bother. She sucks.
On The King’s Avatar Oct 4, 2025
Well...

I... don't get the hype. I'm on the verge of dropping this one. Too many game scenes which ultimately becomes pretty boring at some point ( If I wanted to watch e-sport... I would watch e-sport, I'm here for the story not the competition though obviously featuring some scenes is necessary) but more importantly, characters all repeatedly make the same mistake which is ruining their team's hard work due to their inflated ego... and this is something that I find not only extremely ANNOYING but which I just can't understand.

If you want to play games to brag that much, maybe switching to SOLO games might be better instead of dragging everyone's effort through the mud.

We spent quite a lot of time with each member joining the team. A stapple of any sport anime/drama/movie you name it... except here I feel it's too long and it ultimately becomes boring at some point.

But the final nail in the coffin is the character of Ye Qiu. Basically he's perfect. Not one single flaw. He's supposed to be the main character, yet there's no character progression at all during the whole drama. He's only the best and that's basically it... And since he's the best, there's absolutely nothing interesting about him... and hence we spend most of our time with EVERYONE BUT him, which is err... WEIRD considering the drama's name is based on HIM or rather the character he plays.

There's also some philosophical talks about LIFE through playing GAMES... And I'm not saying it's bad... But when You've watched as many sports anime as I did... it just feel like rince and repeat, though that's not the drama's fault...

ANYWAY... I started this one on the 17ht of August... I've got 13 days to go, and it will be 2 months... and I REALLY don't want to drag this one longer. Currently at episode 27. I don't want to drop it since I've already watched 2/3 of it but... out of all the shows I'm watching... It's the worse one. The issue is... 13 more episodes when you're completely disinterested and bored out of your mind is LONG.

I really don't get why it's such a loved show, I was really happy when it came to Viki, because I heard a lot about it... But I guess it's one instance where the Anime version is probably better.

Chinese drama tend to take their time in telling stories and I just don't think it fits the genre. Also Yang Yang is really handsome, but the face card alone is not enough sorry.

It's not a bad show per say... but it's not as good as advertised imho.

LOL. Oh she's sure got experience... If you go on her page (giving you the link given the photo is just too old to recognize her from the drama):

https://kisskh.at/people/9579-toongkamanee-duangta

Her oldest project listed was done in 1981. She was 27. She's now 70. I would even argue that it's very likely she acted even before that but that there's no precise record on MDL. Maybe she never acted like an old person before... But gosh!

I counted... She acted in more than 180 DRAMAS! And I removed any drama in which she was listed as "Guest". Maybe it's the first time she's acting like a Grandma (though I doubt it obviously) but with more than 40 years of acting under her belt and almost 200 dramas... She basically has no excuse.

I'm sure the director didn't tell her anything because she's such a veteran, it becomes complicated to tell your elder that their acting sucks.
On Love in the Moonlight Oct 3, 2025
I know it's already been said... But I'm annoyed at the actress playing the grandma. She's acting like 90 or older. I've worked with people around the same age, my father is actually a couple of years older, my mum slightly younger than she is and not one of them is speaking and/or walking like she does. Now ok... She might have to act like she is unhealthy... But her voice speed doesn't match her age either...

She's literally acting all the time like she's on the verge of dropping dead.

When you're an old person, playing an old person... Just don't bother adding some "extra effects" to your acting. It just looks fake as hell. Makes me want to skip her scenes.

I’m on ep 11, but does Xu Yan heart disease play a bigger role in a drama? Except for the fact that she has…
Err in earlier episode it's already explained, she's been healed in her youth. Her grandma worked hard to be able to afford her treatment, unlike her parents who decided she just had to die since they couldn't afford to pay for it.

If we look at a realistic marriage POV, from a non-heroine-biased perspective (try to flip the character's reaction,…
There's no real debate here. People aren't outraged because they're stupid. Nobody is saying the FL is blameless not that the ML couldn't doubt her sincerity.

But at the end of the day, what makes people outraged is that she LOVED HIM, HE DIDN'T.

When the lies were exposed, there was no need to be cruel, nor to throw her love back to her face as he did. That's were he's more at fault. Also showering her with gifts to add to her guilt and making sure she doesn't tell him the truth. Pure manipulation.

He obviously saw she wanted to be honest with him but HE DIDN'T.

If that came from him being truly afraid his relationship with her fell apart, that would have been acceptable... But since it never came from him truly caring for her as she did for him, obviously most people are gonna be outraged. That's just basic human emotion.

You can get away with lots of things in a relationship if you genuinely care for the other party, but if one side is bleeding their heart out, and you just don't, you deserve to be left with nothing. All your money is worthless next to pride, dignity and self-love something he obviously has in spades but failed to see his wife did as well.

Waiting for a review written by somebody who watched this at normal speed to know if I should bother. Honestly Gen Z and younger speed running the watching experience, what is exactly the point I wonder.

Directors, scriptwriters, musical composers, actors... Everything is made to make you feel some form of emotion. I wonder exactly how you can get immersed in a story, when you don't even bother to let the story flow like it's supposed to. Silence have meaning, speed of voice, tones, looks, glances...

It's like going to these speed dates, discussing 5 minutes with somebody and saying the person is boring when you obviously don't know sh** about said person.

I'm not saying this drama is good since I haven't watched it, but 2 negative top reviews from two people when it's been less than 13 hours the drama's out is ridiculous.

These reviews have no value whatsoever, since they obviously haven't bothered to watch the show as it should have been. Hopefully, these top reviews are buried under good ones by next week, whether positive or negative.

My 2 cents:1. ML deserves a slap whenever he hang out with Feng Lei. Double slap as he is a married guy.2. She…
Your 2 cents:

1. He does deserve the slaps... BUUUUUUUUUUUUUT he's the ML, so I'll give him a pass. I know he's got a golden heart under all that a**holery... It's just buried very deep, but I trust the show to dig that heart out by the end.

2. True...

3. Not at all. Cleavage girl is crazy but also not very bright... On the other side, Xu Yan is smart and cunning, her only weakness has always been Hao Ming. Crazy psycho could hurt her when Xu Yan was still into him but after they divorced? She wouldn't last a single second if they were stuck in the same room.

4. I don't get Qiao Lin. She's such a badass what doesn't she beat him up? Call his parents... Better yet, go to the workplace he's so proud of and then raise havoc there? Most efficient way to get rid of that sticky glue.
On Love's Ambition Oct 3, 2025
Ok I promised myself I wouldn't come here anymore to avoid future spoilers BUUUUUUT since episode 17 is not out yet, I'm just popping up to say that:

1. I wish Miss "Low Cleavage" got slapped every episode. Crazy psycho going after a married man...

2. You're responsible for your own life. If Miss Cleavage wants to commit suicide because she can't get THE man... Well, just let her do it! That will give her less screentime. But I'd rather she went to prison. I'm sure she killed her sister, that psycho.

3. I know Hao Ming is an asshole but I'm actually happy he used Miss Cleavage. I have absolutely no empathy for her.

4. Is Lin Tao supposed to be funny or something? I find him even more irritating than Miss Cleavage in spite of him getting less screentime than her.

I'm about to start episode 11. I'm watching on Viki so I'm a bit behind... though obviously... I watched every single episode trailers that has come out + the full of spoilers thread (so up to episode 20... I'm gonna (try to) resist watching the trailers for episode 21 and 22 that should come out today).

Based on my current pace and Viki schedule release I should catch up to Viki by Saturday or Sunday (So far they've released 3 episodes a day but it usually get slower the closer we get to the finish line... Up to episode 16 today, probably 18 or 19 on Saturday... From experience, Viki usually finishes to air a week after the express release on We-tv)...

But I'm probably going to stop stalking the LA's thread from tomorrow on. I didn't mind the spoilers so far because it helped me cope with all the heartaches but now that the best part is about to start... I don't want to be spoiled...

I want to savor every single second that Hao Ming is gonna wallow in misery while Xu Yan gets ahead without looking back and then thoroughly enjoy him groveling HARD... Also her father. I want her father to ask for forgiveness from his daughter because he's a huge a***hole. The mother is no good either but at least she seems to be aware of the wrong she's caused her youngest, so at least there's that.

I try to really be disciplined and support officially any series available on sites for which I have a subscription but I have to admit it's really not easy with this show because the wait is excrutiating.

Hence, the fact that I've promised myself, today or tomorrow ( It's already 12:33pm where I live), I will avoid LA's thread like the plague... It doesn't help with the obsession 😫

I'm personally giving up. I've yet to watch Guardians of the Dafeng, Story of Kunning Palace, The Feud, Moonlight Mystique and Moonlit Reunion... and also wanted to finally start the Untamed ( I tried to watch it 4 years ago, but that was my first Wuxia and honestly it's not an easy drama to get into when you're not used to the genre so I ended up dropping it after about 17 episodes)... and I'm not even mentionning everything, just those which are at the top of my list...

And... I had just started Shadow Love when they surprisingly released Love's Ambition... I mean are they kidding me? I used to be somebody who watched more K dramas with the occasional C dramas but I've switched this year... The only issue is that C dramas are LONG, so juggling several at the same time is really not easy... I REALLY wanted to watch Love in the Clouds and Fated Heart but just nope. I don't even think I'll be able in December... Cuz' obviously, they're bound to release Cheng Lei's next drama... and it's Cheng Lei, so PRIORITIES.

Hope you manage to hold on to your personal promise... though it's true Love's Ambition is truly intense. I'm currently watching a Thai BL I was truly completely obsessed with but then this show started and it literally stole all my attention 😝 So basically I just switch to other shows when I need to watch something else to lower my blood pressure.
