Episode 9-12 was great to further progress XT and MLC's relationship but I can't help but hate the 8th Prince lol. I felt so sad when MLC starts to see the XT from S1 under the cherry blossom tree. *sighs* The funniest scene was when XT was writing in english to the 1st Prince XD. I don't think there was much going on here except building relationships.

That concubine and general are boring as hell. I'll still have to wait for subs *sighs*. I'll go to sleep now so I don't think about XD. We'll discuss about it tomorrow.

I don't think MLC will become King, if the 8th Prince and MLC merges what happens to the 25 years of wandering the mortal world? Mo Yi Feng has already set up everything so that MLC will never have to do what mortals should be doing. However, there is the butterfly effect which changed everything but I don't think he will be King. Plus he won't be in that world for long is what I assume because both MLC and Xiao Tan will not stay in one world constantly.

I think those netizens also spoil themselves with the novel and idk if this s2 is adapted from the novel or not. But I guess the 1st Prince had some stuff up his sleeve to force for a marriage with Xiao Tan and the real marriage with MLC should happen within the last 5 episodes for sure.

lol no worries. I also don't watch JP dramas even if I do they're pretty old. Most of them are based on manga and they make it so unrealistic with the exaggerations and the acting.
I don't think Meteor Garden is my type, I don't like any of the adaptations either.
Oh yes, I love Ariel Lin I watched her CN drama Old Boy a few months ago. Well shoot, the sad moment you realise these Taiwanese actors don't act anymore or they moved to mainland.
The new actors nowadays doesn't have the natural and mature yet young face. And they all look the same. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Well the actors in The Eternal Love are different.
My mum used to only watch TVB too but she had to migrate to CN and KR dramas. And she has it on all day with those 50-100 ep ones.
Yes, since I was a kid they had those TVB dramas on all day lol mostly those from the 1990s onwards.

I think after 2010 they started using new actors in Taiwan and it's just not my thing. Autumn Concerto, Romantic Princess, Brown Sugar Macchiato, Hi My Sweetheart, Fated to Love You etc those were my jam lol.
Omg I endured the ghost thing in the Master's Sun, I prefer those leads than idol actors XD. My best k-drama would still be Secret Garden, I love Ha Ji Won's projects.

Wow. For me in k-dramaland it will take a while for me to pick something up. The last thing I watched from there was Miss Hammurabi and The Witch’s Love. I tend to skip dramas with famous actors or famous idols. They really have great modern dramas but the scriptwriting still sucks to an extent especially with the dragging and cliche stuff. It’s harder for me to start a Korean drama than a CN one. I probably should venture back into Taiwanese ones.

Yes, luckily all of my old TVB dramas are dubbed. And all CN dramas are always subbed within the 1st day of release. Then it takes a while for some to get dubbed by one voice or many voices.
Poor you, even if I'm not desperate for new eps but like I've been having all of the OSTs replay non-stop. I also have exams soon so it's easier to distract myself. Games are actually a great distraction and time consuming in which I've caught myself into.
It's gonna be quite boring if you will restrain yourself, I won't have anyone to discuss about the drama.

Oh so you’re gonna take a break after ep 12? I don’t mind waiting since I can manage to distract myself.
Oh yes I forgot about palace dramas. I tend to skip those cause of harem and sad endings.
No I actually don’t know Mandarin or Cantonese. It’s just these dramas are well received in Asia therefore it’s often translated by other Asian countries in comparison to the western audience who’s interested in Asian dramas. I’m quite lucky at this point compared to others. But I never learnt how to read in my language and those subs are killing me when I tried to watch The Eternal Love 2 lol. That’s why I just skip the political thing for now to ease the headache.

I watched S1 a few times before S2 came out maybe I should re-watch it again I've also been rewatching the last 8 eps of this season too lol. I got no life.
Legend of Yunxi was not bad but I didn't like the second male lead. I'd rather read the novel instead.
Both seasons for "Let's Shake It" is done, so I guess it's slapstick+romance suits you.
I love "Go Princess Go" lol I think I watched it over 5 times already. Too bad the actress Zhang Tian Ai of that drama has gotten bad roles lately in comparison to her co-star Peter Sheng.
I don't think I'll watch "I cannot hug you" I'm not a fan of the female lead. Plus I hate modern dramas, I mean there are some good ones but it's rare like "Love 020" and "Ode to joy". I'll opt for modern dramas in k-dramaland.
I grew up with my TVB dramas but the script writing and production quality is gone since 2010-2012 onward. They used to be so superior, I could literally watch almost every modern tvb drama when I hate the modern genre. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I still got my TVB collections.
I always place historical/ancient/ xianxia/wuxia/xuanhuan etc genres before pre-modern and modern stuff. I just realised I'm such a picky person, sorry it feels like a rant here.
Story continued in modern days.8th prince traveled to modern day but the time he reached was a year earlier than…
I didn't really watch Yunxi, probably the first 10 eps then I jumped to the last ep lol.
I guess it's somewhat similar to k-drama with 2 hour (4 eps of 36min vs 2 eps of 60min) content per week. I wanted 8 eps per week like other CN dramas *sighs*. I'm only invested in this drama and Let's Shake It to fully watch the episodes.
I'm actually glad that they used the same singers in this season. I also miss the songs from S1, it felt so good when it's played throughout the new season.
Damn I'm so bored, I literally have nothing to do.

I love and hate web dramas at the same time lol. It's out fast in one go but only 4 eps a week. I wish it could just release 48 eps in one go like legend of yunxi lol (i think it went out like that for yunxi).

I didn't think we would be so relatable.
I wanna watch Lovely Horribly but I'm scared of horror with those ghost things...
In terms of rewatching, it takes me over a year to rewatch a k-drama and CN anytime like you said it has its charms.
