He is an OK singer but he is really trying to improve and do something with his life after this entire idiotic thing with the ice cream picture and Gong Jun's behavior

fat chance this gets ever released and not only because Zhang Zhe Han has been banned by Chinese film industry. It's a pity. I hope someone in the west realizes the value of this star-packed production and takes it off Asian market.

"allowed her to act" is rather a humorous remark. This girl is not really acting just being herself and it really imho was a miscast. all 3 leads are much better than FL simply because there is no depth to her in that role

I am wondering if others are equally puzzled by this mini-series... I mean, I had seen anything from 1.5 minute to 20-minute-long episodes before, but this is rather scanty... Or is it English subs that make it confusing. For anyone who speaks and reads Mandarin (original): is this drama hard to get in Chinese?

hey, anybody knows who directed and produced this thing? I see so many details copied from My Journey to You here, as well as some from other series that I am starting to feel the screenwriter, director and producer (company) are the same. Could be wrong, but curious...

This is the first time I saw Yang Ye Ming in a costume drama. Couldn't recognize him from the face, but the demeanor was like Zhao Wudi I watched this spring. He is just himself as a Lian Yue imho

the mere fact that it has 54 episodes makes me cringe. Honestly, does it have to be this long? is this a soap opera where each episode shows one hour of never-ending twisted plot? I get it: it's a really powerful series, nicely shot, but still... I guess I have to wait until there is literally nothing else to watch... If someone has time can you please share how you survived this?

So far I am thinking assassin like in My Wife's Double Life. A guy with hidden agenda like in My Beloved Wife. And finally, tough life of a kid being raised by an assassin organization like that shown in My Journey To You. What else? Ah, the ML, the gorgeous Wang Xuan has a vibe of Li Fei in his short episode series... I love this series so far (on ep 12 now) and it got me hooked with that nearly soft porn scene. Yikes!

Juliette was 14 when she died and Romeo same age or so. We forget that it is in the last 100 years that the push came for making children protected and separate from adults. I am not saying that child labor or exploitation is ok, but it is normal for a child of 5 to be able to contribute to the household economy and assume responsibilities like goat/poultry herding, food prep, cleaning, etc. Children naturally mimic behaviors of the parents and societal examples so if everybody is staring into their phones, the 5 year old will too. We are lucky that in a lot of countries children have the luxury to play and have fun rather than be sold or abused.
