Hey guys, I don't think a lot of people have noticed but if you click on the "Episode Guide" Tab, you can rate and comment on each episode. It's a good way for viewers to get an idea of how good a drama is, without having to make a review on an incomplete drama :)
I like Netflix, but I wish they stop meddling with the osts - it kills the whole Kdrama experience. I don't mind…
Ahhhh I think it was both or one of the reply drama series, I was thinking to my self how come I'm not feeling nostalgic watching this - and then I realised the ost is different haha. In a gentlemen's dignity they kept some songs, but replaced some. In Hyori's homestay (Kvariety) they completely changed the bgm, it feels really weird watching it compared to the original. I get that it's expensive but it wouldn't hurt to just keep a few tracks :(
I was excited because it was on viki not Netflix. I take it back I want Netflix :(((
I like Netflix, but I wish they stop meddling with the osts - it kills the whole Kdrama experience. I don't mind the wait, if it means we get the original Korean ost haha.
Never heard of the director, so I browsed his list of work - and yes aside from Zatoichi (which I surprisingly like) I wouldn't have watched any of his films. Thanks for the heads up!
This drama has a very simple plot, but somehow makes it confusing with the writing and directing. It's trying too hard to be a mix of other popular dramas. The humour in this show falls flat from the directing, as well as the cut and paste feel that I'm getting. I'm hoping the writer makes us feel for the characters, since one moment I'm absorbed - and then I'm withdrawn. There's way too many characters getting pushed in, so I'm hoping next week we get straight to the plot and no more new characters lol!
The first half of the drama is amazing, the other half not so much - but it's worth the watch considering the chemistry. Fun fact: The main lead used to be a SM trainee : )
I think you should be able to. There are some dramas/films that are just too boring or too horrible to continue…
Generally by a few episodes or half way in a film you know if the film or drama is to your liking. Sure enough there might be better character development, plot twists etc. but if a film/drama is not captivating enough from the get go, then it's time wasted. Not everyone has the patience to toggle through, time is precious.
Like I said before I've been on both ends, I've watched some dramas/films that I thought were great from start to end - but for others it was slow or not to their liking (dropped it) and they rated it low. Although it's super annoying to see, it's a good indicator that for some people it wasn't interesting enough to pull through. That's something I think is important to take in consideration. Anyways good for you for pulling in til the end. Just to clarify I also don't tend to rate dramas/films unless I've finished it, but if it's that's dreadful I do haha.
It is okay to drop a drama but I don't think you should rate it if you do. if you don't complete it that means…
I think you should be able to. There are some dramas/films that are just too boring or too horrible to continue through, why waste time. It's like asking someone to finish off a drink, when they've already tasted it and hate it. I get what you mean though, I've been on both ends. Rating a drama when it hasn't even aired, that was one of my tiffs back then haha.
I stopped halfway it felt like I was watching a match after match film, with no heart. I liked Rurouni Kenshin, and loved Zatoichi.... but yeah wow, I don't get this film :(
By the looks of the comments you either hate or love it haha.
1. haha I don't mind, better than no kiss at all like in some dramas/films. 2, 3, 4, 5 - incredibly annoying 6. This is one of the most annoying things I've seen in dramas.
Might I also add: When the villainous 2nd lead ends up with one of the most nicest characters. When 30+ aged actors play their younger selves, I know it's just a flash back but you did not look like that when you were 15 (sighs).
Loved it, it's chessy (and there's a few filler eps) but this is one of the most smartest couples I've seen in any drama I've watched. They talk things through, and are patient with each other and there's no noble idiocy.
