There's a fraction of viewers that don't understand why Gene would be so distraught over a lie. But from what we've seen so far - even though he puts on a strong reserved front, he's incredibly vulnerable to high emotions. The first being that he's still coming into terms with his sexuality, and the second is that he's really lonely. Aside from Nibsib, he hasn't let anyone get close to him on a deeper level. So it's understandable that he'll be this distraught.
Other than that I'm pretty much desensitized due to watching the glorious that is TharnType :P Kudos to whoever was drunk on subbing this week's episode lol, hopefully they fix it..... or maybe the you tube version is better?
Even though the drama is pretty cheesy, it's cute. It's been a while since I saw a vampire themed drama haha. Oh and the main female lead reminds me of Koyuki :)
I read a spoiler online on Aey but here I am thinking it doesn't make any sense but it does? Aside from that although…
Read a spoiler that Aey actually likes Gene?? I haven't read the novel but I'm hella confused how that's going to work when there's Mork. But it would make sense on Nubsib's POV since he dislikes Aey....
I read a spoiler online on Aey but here I am thinking it doesn't make any sense but it does? Aside from that although this episode wasn't as focused on the main couple, I appreciated the conversation between Nubsib and Gene at the table. Considering this director, I am worried about future episodes haha.
I dont think they really need star power as much as a good acting it was both Joo Ji Hoon and the rest of the…
I don't mind either as long as they can act and have stage presence. I just feel like CEW will get a free pass for this role because he already took the lead of two popular dramas. But fingers crossed it's either the above actors I mentioned or an entirely different actor :)
It would be awesome if Song Kang or Lee Do Hyun plays either Shin/Yul, both are so versatile. I also think Cha Eun Woo would be a high contender for his star power. Though ultimately it depends on how much they're going to put into this remake.
I've just caught up with the latest eps and it's great so far. However the peeping tom incident was difficult to process, as I remember relatives laughing off at a similar scene 20+ years back. Volyurism and sexual harrassment sugar coated as humour was prevalent back then. So to see it again as a comedic scene, was opening old wounds I thought disappeared (Scarred as a child, I know haha). Thankfully there was Phupha with a moral conscience and that that didn't show anything more, which is an improvement over the years lol.
I'm definitely going to watch this drama regardless, one triggering scene shouldn't be the end of this drama. Plus all the actors and production have given a lot of their hard efforts into this. I hope given the response of some viewers, future Thai productions do keep in mind of the feedback coming through from some international viewers watching on Youtube. They've come so far over the years, so this gem of drama is still worthwhile to continue watching :)
I kinda wished they casted an actress similar to Lee Shi Young or Ha Ji Won, basically any actress who can portray that effortless kick ass vibe - but will give it a go.
I'm experiencing withdrawals already haha. I miss the whole cast, this is probably one of those rare times where I adore all the characters in a BL drama.
So much thoughtfulness and consideration was put into this drama, it's really hard to let go :(
There is a rumor going on Twitter that CM is going to be remake in Thailand but with university setting?? OMG,…
I'm scared haha!
Thai BLs need more workplace based dramas, there's too much high-school or uni settings lol. My only hope is if they do this, please please choose decent actors - not fresh faced actors with a lack of experience (unless they're talented). I also hope they follow the drama version of Fujisaki. Thai dramas haven't had the best track record of making well written female supporting characters.
I really thought the author would play more with the mind reading power, but losing it along with your V-card…
Oh no aside from the mind reading plot, it's a very simple and easy going drama haha. The manager isn't used as a mystic of any sort, but he introduces a made up folklore/superstition of "magical powers" if one is still a virgin after 30.
So after Adachi turns 30 and has those powers, then Tsuga has it at 30 which confirms this made up folklore/superstition. Since it is assumed everyone else can't read minds, and communicate via telepathy we know they're not virgins or have not reached 30 of being one. So for most of us, we just connected the dots. Common sense really haha, that's why everyone's kind of confused and super responsive to your comments. It happens lol.
This drama is unlikely to make sudden crazy twists given it's nature, it's already refreshing enough just having mind reading as one of it's concepts. But there are small details that I admire from this drama. I hope you hang in there :)

Did they scrap that?
