I really thought the author would play more with the mind reading power, but losing it along with your V-card…
We all knew all the way from ep 1 (Through Adachi's manager) that he would eventually lose his powers if he so happens to lose his virginity. This was emphasized again with Tsuga, and the fact that title is "Cherry Magic".
I can understand for some viewers who prefer more passionate chemistry and want to tune off but.... I'm kind of confused on what revelation you're talking about? The only revelation I'm aware of that has not occurred, which is: 1. Kurosawa finding out Adachi can read his mind, and his response to this 2. The possible connection between Adachi riding his bike in ep 1 and whether this connects to future eps or not. This is just a theory thus far.
It feels so weird having loved the first second, and being so terribly disappointed in the second. I remember happily adding links weekly along with others, when TT1 was airing. There's a bigger budget, but we going backwards O_O .......... at least there's no controversial scenes this time.
I just caught up with all the episodes, and feel nauseous with the bad directing and camera work. In one particular scene in episode 4 the camera kept going back and forth, it was giving me a headache. Styling is out of wack and terribly tacky. I am scarred seeing seeing one of the actors wearing a hoodie with a scarf, when everyone is dressed for Spring or Summer. Y'all it makes no sense, wth haha.
Ost and music editing is no where as good.... I'm literally holding on because as least Techno is keeping things funny, and even seeing Khlui keeps things interesting. Tharn & Type don't have much of a plot going for them, it's quite sad I even sped through the NC scenes because I really don't know what purpose it has to the story. Ummmm... Champ and the Doc's story in general is cute. It's also up to the director and writer, whether they can make it work - because I do feel it has at least the potential to progress.
Had the writing been better I wished Mame would've written a stronger script in showcasing more on Tharn and Type's jobs in more detail, and how these guys help out the younger ones. There's a reason why the younger ones came to Tharn Type. It's already episode 4 and I feel like there's a couple too many new actors here, I'm still confused on who's who and what purpose they bring to the show. ... some of the new actors have the same standard of acting.. hmmm.... I feel guilty saying all this, rant over lol.
It's going to be hard but will be holding on ~ haha, finger's crossed for better future eps.
Let's face it. The haters have been bashing the series since the beginning of S1. Even if Season 2 were written…
If Shakespeare and Waititi were working on TT, it would be leagues away from this version, sorry just had to be honest haha! Honestly I'm still slightly jilted Tee couldn't direct season 2, but what can you do..
I think it's fine for people to be disappointed in the drama, and point out the reasons it fell short to them. Season 1 itself minus (the one or two controversial scenes) was just so fresh, impactful and exciting to watch during it's run. Now people have upped the standards for BL dramas, anticipation for TT2 was at it's highest, and sadly Tharntype 2 fell a little short (so far).
But....I'm still very hopeful and am looking forward to finishing off the closure to the crazy ride that is TharnType. Because of TT's mature content it's always going to be a highly discussed and debatable show, as the show progresses the extreme haters eventually move on :)
Finally got a chance to watch the first ep, after seeing all the comments and trailer I seriously had to lower my expectations - and it was a decent watch.
Since the guys are already together, it's going to be difficult to attract that thrilling interest back in season 1 - so I'm interested to see what they can come up with to fill that void.
It's really unfortunate that it's airing at a time where there's really good projects. Also the change in directing/editing style is worse but.... will still look forward to seeing new eps and more of the new casts :)
I don't know any Japanese but I'm assuming with my skills of "Google Translate", Akaso Eiji's latest tweet says he found the Kurosawa dream sequence hilarious?? haha!
What are you guys' favourite scenes? Mine is footages of super cute Adachi in Kurosawa's head.
There are so many! But from the top of my head... - "Sorry. I'm pretending to be asleep" - "It's an offence to have such a cute sleeping face" *Covers face* - When Kurosawa is really angry when the co-workers forced the two to kiss at the work dinner - Adachi falls down in the office in ep 1, and Kurosawa worryingly stands up - The many times Adachi has tripped on himself lol - The look on both K & A's faces when Rokkaku ruins their potential "date"
Hypothetically speaking, if there is no kissing scene (on the lips) at all in the entire drama, would you guys…
Definitely wouldn't effect my rating, these guys have already exceeded my expectations in terms of chemistry and acting experience. This drama has been such a gem in execution so far. Although it would be lovely to see a kiss, I couldn't ask for more :)
Permission to make the fandom name simply, 'Ehh?'. It's clean. Precious. Will confuse the hell out of people not…
Someone is very excited! haha. Not into fandom names for dramas, I still find it too strange lol. It seems to be quite popular especially within Thai BL Drama communities.
omg I just realised, the other actor that Akaso Eiji somewhat resembles besides Simon Gong and Jungkook....it's Cole Sprouse haha.
Also never realised I actually seen a few of Machida Keita's work from way back, no wonder he seemed so familar. Both the actor's are well experienced :)
And that's why screenwriters are so important to kdramas. Just look at this dramas' writer older stuff and you're…
I do that too , but I still end up watching their work because of the casting.....but it does make the feeling of being disappointed much easier to cope lol.
The FL PSD doesn’t seem to fit in this drama. Also i’m not convinced with ML PBG. Together they are even worse,…
You've made a good point. Usually film actors do a really good good transitioning to drama because of their acting ability, but with PSD she's fallen short. It's either that, subpar writing script or she's not as great in building chemistry in romance centered dramas.

Did you end up spoiling yourself somewhere? haha.

Yeah I was going to write a longer post about the writing but gave up, it is what it is. The cast have worked so hard, so I'm gonna pull through hehe.
