I'm kinda worried after watching the trailer, not that I know there's going to be drama but with the change of director I'm not sure if it will have that somewhat arthouse feel from season 1. I think the disappointment from watching Love By Chance 2, is rubbing on me :(
lol interesting scores! It's so funny seeing polar opposite scores from different viewers. Great article. Would love to see more articles like this. My personal score would be:
Cruel City - 8 Great acting all around, interesting premise but it got draggy towards the end. Thirty but Seventeen - 6.5 I remember really enjoying it in the beginning but it also went flat towards the end. Mr. Sunshine - N/A Great production all around in all areas, but I couldn't finish the drama I guess because one it was really slow paced and two it was going to *I may cry* territory. I weirdly can't give it a score, as I know it was a really well produced drama - I think it got too real for me. Suspicious Partner - 7. Another interesting drama that went flat for me. K2 - 7.5 A drama with stacks of potential, had they removed the romance line. It was pointless. Should've re-written it in the antagonist's perspective. Goblin - 8 Actually finished the drama, thought it was pretty good story telling wise. Though it was a bit cheesy/fan-servicey at times hence the lower score. Her Private Life - 7 I wanted this drama to go into more depth about being a older aged fan, but it was more on a superficial level. It got draggy towards the end. Kudos for Ryan Gold though he's probably one of the most well mannered and thoughtful K male leads I've seen.
This was such an unexpected gem, loved how they incorporated some action - and the actors were great. Make sure to support production by purchasing the video if you can :)
The only thing that annoys is that Hae Won's aunt could've easily gotten treatment for her glaucoma, but no! she…
Yep she could've gotten surgery for her eyes, but with so many years feeling guilty for her brother in law's death and for her sister's imprisonment - it's undeniable that she would emotionally and eventually self sabotage herself. In her mind, she believes she doesn't deserve any form of happiness and lost her right to properly repent.
The feeling of extreme guilt can really damage one's way of thinking logically. As a viewer or observer it seems so easy to solve certain problems, but some people are so wound up in their thoughts that they take the wrong path. As annoying as it looks, it's quite realistic. For me, I found HW's attitude towards her mother after finding out more annoying - but I'm kind of understanding her situation haha.
Oh wow an Ice hockey themed drama? Interesting :) The last time I watched an ice hockey themed drama, was Japanese drama "Pride" haha https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjZrgJf5brs
Oh wow what an episode, I loved it. With such a tight low budget, they managed to pull off a drama that kept you til the end and enticed so many people to put out their own views and thoughts. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I love it for breaking boundaries alongside the great chemistry between the leads. It's one drama where I can't label it or pigeon hole it as BL. It's beyond that, and is a standalone Thai drama :)
I don't understand the others, but I like this drama. It's like a chill rom com with nobody to hate. I like these.
I think if the stories were more balanced (more screen time to side couples) and if they removed the unnecessary love triangle, it would be more well received. It feels a bit congested with soooo many characters with their own sub plots. It's still a good watch, but I'll be skimming to the more interesting parts.
I'm very averse sexual assault so if they brush something like that aside, I doubt I'll enjoy the series
There is no sexual assault. There are some scenes in the beginning that are questionable, however it is addressed later on and tied to the story line. It's worth watching if you are open to seeing the emotional bitter side of love, for the greater healing journey. Personally the chemistry between the leads, and issues addressed throughout this drama really over kills.
What I've suggested to others is to watch up to episode 4 and see whether it's worth it :)
I'm pretty much holding on for the brothers' stories and their family interactions with SY, even Won Seok and Ho Dol's 3 min screen time is better than the frustrating and cliche main lead triangle.
I had no idea that uni dude would appear again lol. I just hope there's more screen time for Won Seok and Ho Dol,…
True True. They spent too much time on the misunderstandings, and love triangle in previous episodes that there wasn't much time to cover everyone else. Now we are back to square one with YS, and barely touched base on anyone else (there's like 4 other pairings lol) and we have a mystery stalker and therapist to close off :S
LOL

I wonder if it was ad-libbed since it was just so sweet, and memorable. Tharn crying happy tears, and Type softly speaking to him.
Classic ><

But if I had to choose I would make it SPRITES :P
