I don't think it is self serving at all if she is aware of that. She has the means to reward them and perhaps she does it because it brings her joy. Those who give...know they need nothing in return. Giving to others has its own reward. We feel more joy than those to whom we give. . It is a pleasure and a privilege to be able to be generous. I loved this first episode. She told herself she was just a side character..and then became the star of the show..pretty funny episode. I don't think this series is taking itself that seriously. Perhaps we should just enjoy the ride. It looks fizzy perfect to me!

Yes darling, I understand. I talk to so many ppl in our chat group that are here from everywhere in the world, and they are some of the most appreciative of America and its ppl, its way of life, its freedoms. Come here from somewhere else ....and then let's talk. Every country has problems and America is no different. But wow, this country is adored and we would not live anywhere else on this planet. But please folks, do it the right way, come as you did, through legal channels. Then America will welcome you. Heck we even roll the red carpet out for you. Lol. Respectfully, I never say anything I don't mean. Words matter. Some brilliant poster below said that we should all be more careful and I agree. If a post about bullying someone to death doesn't wake us up, then nothing can. We should especially stop to consider what words we say on an announcement page of someone's passing. If we can't be more mindful then ...it really does (as I said above) help to explain the phenomenon of how all of this occurs and keeps occurring. Nah, none of that. I am saying..there is little to say on this page marking her life and death, other than to say what we loved or enjoyed about her. I am talking about respect. I am saying that plenty of ppl's posts were too cavalier and callous in my view. You said a debate is a two way street but this is not the place to debate or argue points. Period. This was someone's life. Shouldn't we stop for a moment to think about the gravity of that.
When ppl die....there should be a time of reflection and meaning. A time where we mourn. A time to think about what life is really about. Read them again, Ask yourself if this was your beloved sister, your beloved friend or daughter..would you still be so sanguine about all of these words? Where is our collective humanity? Where is our empathy? Where is our respect for the dead? Is this page the time for petty debate and critique over bullying? Should we expect her family to be okay with our using her life to critique her? It is utterly impossible to understand kind of lives these celebrities have. They pay a heavy price often with their youth and their lives. Just for a nicer place to live, pretty clothes and money in the bank. I often wonder why they try so hard at such a young age to be molded into a star, given that the rewards are offset by the lack of privacy, respect or freedom. Often they are abused by family who feel they owe them a living, friends who betray them for a news story. They have no life OTHER than what the agency allows. They are told what to wear, when to wake up, where to show up, what to say and what they cannot say. Everything is scripted from the time they wake up until bedtime. Their days appear to be endless. They cannot go anywhere for fear they will be mobbed. Even in their own homes, they are betrayed by those they allow in. They are worked in all kinds of weather, expected to smile constantly to keep everyone liking them, they work hours and hours beyond what is normal life elsewhere and yet for this...the ppl both feel free to love them with obsessive and rigid control...and hate them with equal passion. Fandoms fight and make their life miserable. I can't decide what on earth would make anyone desire that life. I often wondered just what kind of ppl would feel empowered to hate such ppl into their grave. But reading below....some of you illustrated that perfectly. You very coherently conveyed the evil mindset that would induce one to believe they have the right to destroy others. Reading your remarks...I see how you are great at justifying just about anything. You feel you have the right to hate these ppl, and to ruin them if you can.
