Two of my favorite actors finally had a scene together: Ha Joon (Kwon Jae-kyung) and Kim Kwon (Haum CEO). KJK was recording their conversation (my guess) and in the end is doing exactly what he said to Shin-yu - protecting the mayor (my guess).

LEE JUNG JUNG (also known as Lee Jeong Jung)
Lee Jung-jung plays Seol Eun-jung, βa powerful heiress of the Cheonji-in group and is the love of its chairman, Seol Yang-hoon.
[I guessed at correct pronouns - see link for original] "He [probably βsheβ] believes that it was [her] aunt Seol Hye-young who caused the death of his [her??] father when [she] was a child, and [she] is at odds with her. (I believe that Seol Hye-young is a female, therefor Aunt, because βHyeβ is a female name in Korea)
After watching "City Hall" for the 1st time (took about 2 weeks whenever I felt like it), I searched around for more Kim Sun Ah dramas and found "When It's at Night" which actually was almost impossible to find because it's called "Night after Night" on Kocowa.
Regardless, this drama is almost 15 years old but it was fun to watch for many reasons: a great cast; the topic (black market in historical artifacts) is still timely; the co-workers and family members were important to the overall story without over-whelming it; happy ending for the good guys and justice for the bad guys. Even tho it was 20 episodes, the script held up and the dots were all connected. The romance wasn't in your face (like current dramas) nor was it hidden until the last episode.
I really enjoyed it. If it was a current drama I would probably give it a 8 or 9β, but since it has held it's own over all these years, I'm giving it a very rare (for me) 10β.
All programming should be back to normal Monday since the games end this weekend.
Hello Sher,
This drama keeps popping up on my Kocowa feed (it's probably on Viki as well) and i didn't realize it was a daily drama. So, although I haven't watched yet, would like to know whether it is worth the try and how you might compare to TRHC. The character chart of married folks and children looks VERY confusing, LOL.
I realise you watched this a while ago but hoping for a small spoiler before I decide to watch. Is Seo In Guk…
I have never watched the movie, but I am a casual fan of Seo In Guk and Jung So Min who were both in this film. I know that his character is "bad" (brutally violent) in the beginning, but don't know if he dies a well-deserved violent death or is a "hero death". He's one of the 1st to die, I believe?? so he does not appear to the end. On this ship, everyone dies, lol.
Park So Jin is an absolute favorite (starting with "Alchemy of Souls"). So happy for her and. . .somebody I never heard of before but hope they will both be incredibly happy. π₯°
Are the comments about the drama accurate? I want to see it because it's rated 8.3, but after reading the comments,…
It is a shit show mess so it all depends upon what sort of genre you like. Past Lives? β. Cute, fluffy romance?β Thriller? β Comedy. . . .ahhh, episodes 1-sixish maybe. Gorgeous cinematography? β
You decide. I put in on hold and will watch when it is complete.
given how she reacted toward SY without having the full information even (the old hag cryptic msg do not count)…
Maybe I'm wrong - but still believe KJK will be hero in the present world. I mean - how perfectly PREDICTABLE if he was still an bad guy? But admittedly, there have been a few hints - as well as "omissons", so we will see. We will see. π
I submitted to MDL months ago, but they have never published, so Iβm posting the info I have.
SEO JI HOON (one of my absolute favorites):
Seo Ji Hoon plays Geum Tae-young, a genius. Even in dangerous moments, he will try to "change the client's destiny" and provide tension throughout the play.β
Actor Kim Gyu-cheol will be taking on the part of the Chairman/Father Kang in the drama Live Your Own Life. The role was previously filled by Noh Young gook who passed away suddenly in early September.
I think this is one of his most creepy (and best) roles. He is involved in a murder of an 8 year old girl when…
thanks for response. I've tried to read recaps but can only find "theories" about the various characters - it sounds like a very complex drama. most folks think his character is destined to be the final culprit to be killed by "justice" - surprised that it's so obvious to viewers, but perhaps it's now becoming a matter of cat and mouse. I'll wait until it's finished and then decide whether to watch parts of it or not. i'm glad you are appreciating Kim Kwon's performance. π
Love JBA actingβ¦the previous life was so beautiful, wish they had shown it for more time. The scene of killing…
He's the ML in the next drama as well, correct??
Watch him now because he is required to go into the military sometime next year - it's pretty clear they are trying to get as many dramas under his belt before he off screen for a couple of years.
I had no interest in this drama until I saw that a fave (Kim Kwon) was in it. He is absolutely killing it as the smarmy bad (but not evil) guy in "Destined With You" and usually plays semi-bad, but conflicted characters.
Anyone willing to provide spoilers about his character (good/evil?l; already dead? victim/possible hero) would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Edit; it was "F Word".

I hope KBS2 heavily promoted "Live Your Own Life" before and after the game while the entire country was watching. π
