Director Yeom is probably Tae Hee's father, although not necessarily via an affair with Dragon Mom. Rumor has it that Dragon Mom's sister will soon appear - I posted about that a couple of days ago.

I think they dumped the Ga-on story. The original plot described on Namu Wiki sounded plausible when Ga-on won that TV show prize money - but Mom should have shown up long ago if there was going to be a story with her and Tae Min. When Ga-on and her father held that small death anniversary ceremony, I think that was their way of burying it once and for all.

Although. . . . . I thought it was interesting that Park Woo Joo is the only resident to see Kang Tae Min at the rooftop.

Ko Joo Won lost over 20 pounds (10 kg) for the role - which is why he is smexy as hell in in those suits! It was also nice of the director to replay that one prison scene yesterday. 🤩

Ratings were awful (16.2%) - but awful across the board for Saturday programs. Lunar New Year is the reason.

I went to my local H Mart today - have wanted to make Jajangmyeon (Noodles in Black Bean Sauce). Parking Lot jammed, store jam packed inside. Decided that today was not the best day to try the patience of a clerk to help me find the necessary ingredients. 😊

As God Is My Witness - Kang Jin Bum did not kill Kang Jun Bum - either accidentally or on purpose. I do wonder WHY he wanted to kill him (I'm preparing a list of "unsolved questions/mysteries") but he didn't do it. Dragon Mom has finally decided to throw her Hubby under the bus.

As for WHO did it? Was it intentional or accidental? There is a pit in my stomach but when I look over the list of potential candidates, I HOPE it's Dragon Mom but I think the writer is going to point the finger at. . . . .TVLive dad. Does it make any sense? After TVLive started their "investigative" reporting? No, but. . . ripping a baby from the arms of a mother doesn't make sense either.

I've watched makjang ( as in ONE totally out-of-left-field twist) before, but never, ever have I seen one makjang "twist" after another makjang "twist" after another makjang "twist" like this show.

Yes! And not just the "bloodline" but the Eldest Grandson bloodline.

Regardless, what 👿Evil Granny👿 did is UNFORGIVEABLE.

Not in the 1980's. (TM was born 1983). DNA testing (identifying relatives) was VERY new in the USA - and many years and validation required for it to be refined/accepted.

I must admit - I never dreamed Evil Granny (my new name for her) would ever rip a child away from its mother. So, you were right about that part - I wonder if their father ever knew the truth.
She watched while TM was put through hell and then she protected TH - and it's still not clear why she sent TH to the USA (maybe first scene tomorrow). She gets all high and mighty about. financial mis-deeds but what she did is far, far worse. Gawd, it boils my soul that she and the gremlin will get happy endings.

Today jumped the shark for sure - Grandmother is Pure Evil. 👿

A. Several months ago, Namu Wiki and Korean Wiki rumored that a character identified as Jang OO would appear - Jang Sook-hyang's younger sister. I was thinking today that Dr. Slump would be a drama you would like. 😊

I'm surprised how much I like it - so far, of course. I seem to walk away around episode 10 or so of so many recent dramas.

The original three actors were identified before the drama began. I cannot find the article where I read it - but I looked them up on MDL at the time. The change in Kang Jun Bum actor is new.

This is my belief (and, of course, I may be very wrong): they filmed scenes last summer with the original Jin Bum actor. When he passed, they could no longer use those scenes. I would love to see flashbacks of what actually happened at Daegwallyeong. Plus, flashbacks of Jung Bum (TH's dad) and Tae Min. Or grandfather and grandmother. I imagine Tae Ho fans would like to see scenes with his parents as well. I think they would be very powerful and boost ratings.

1. KANG JUN BUM (Tae Ho’s father)
I must make a correction. A couple of weeks ago, I commented that the role of Kang Jun Bum would be played by Park Hyung Joon – this name was identified on Wikipedia months ago and I also remember reading it (but never book-marked) an article. Jun-bum’s photo was shown at the art gallery when Tae Ho and Hyo Shim visited (Ep. 32).
However, both Namu Wiki and Korea Wiki say that the role will be played by Yoon Bok Sung (https://kisskh.at/people/65915-yoon-bok-sung) and indeed Yoon Bok Sung’s name was listed in the Special Appearance credits for Ep. 32. Yoon Bok Sung is known for “voice-over” acting and minor guest appearances.

2. SEO MIN JEONG (Tae Ho’s mother)
Kang Joo Hee (https://kisskh.at/people/99825-kang-joo-hee) was also listed in the episode 32 credits and it appears that it was her photo that represented Seo Min Jeong in the Art Gallery.

3. KANG GEUN MAN (TM and TH Grandfather)
Veteran actor Lee Ho Jae (https://kisskh.at/people/4454-lee-ho-jae) has been listed in Wikipedia for months to play the role of Kang Geun Man.
