Over on "Destined with You" forum, everyone swooning over some shower scene (I haven't watched yet) of Rowoon and my comment was: the shower scene you want is Ha Joon (Kwon Jae Kyung on DWY). Rowoon who???
I STILL LOVE THIS DRAMA. It keeps me on the edge of my seat, mad at the cliffhanger, then frustrated that I need…
Question Elif Kim - what time (KST) do you watch this drama. i still haven't found the time to watch Ep. 13 except some clips on Twitter/X, but I think I will get up in the morning (my time) to watch Ep. 14 - to either confirm or destroy my beloved theories. I have enjoyed reading your comments throughout the day. 🥰
at this point, what helps me to keep watching is seeing when they catch the gardener. outside of that I only care…
Since this was on my watchlist because of Ha Joon, I am also at the point where I only care about how his story ends - if he dies, immediate 1⭐rating, but I think he will be OK. I think it is obvious - from the beginning - that his role is to protect Hong-jo. He was the one she was thinking of when she said "Please, can you come" and the box unlocked (like magic!). And then, he came. Viewers believe that he was "jealous" of Shin-yu, but nope - he was concerned that SY was forcing himself on her even though he had a girlfriend/fiancé.
Eun Wol: "He's honest and strong. He's beside you."
KJK was supposed to protect her - wasn't supposed to fall in love with her. I'm not sure how it ends, but unless writer pull a makjang-of-all-makjang plot twists, he's a hero.
This show reminds me of Master's Sun, gives somewhat similar feel.
All I require is a happy ending altho I may not binge watch if I must suffer through a long break-up, so thanks for confirming that is is short. This was recommended recently as a "classic" romantic kdrama and I finally found it on Viki. Thanks for your very direct and helpful response.

I just started to watch "The Master's Sun" - I thought it had a happy ending? If not, tell me now and I'll stop because right now the story is pretty creepy - far more than "destined With You"
After today's incident looks like Hong jo will keep her distance from him again or probably apply for transfer…
I always wondered what happened to the statue of the woman (with a red tear from her eye) that said ""What took you so long to come." That and the "painting"/image of the female shaman - both in perfect condition even after 3 centuries.
I’m not sure why people are saying they’re not feeling any chemistry??? the angst is soooo good bro like when…
"I’m not sure why people are saying they’re not feeling any chemistry???"
Because different people enjoy different romance stories??? Because all the music (OST) and clever camera angles and beautiful cast members create "chemistry" for some viewers but not other viewers? Makes sense to me.
Not sure why I do this, but here is the pre-release for Episode 13. Jang Shin-yu's (Ro-woon) bloody warning to Yoon Na-yeon (Yura) "If you touch that person...."
Meanwhile, a reminder that Joseon Hong Jo (Aeng-cho) knew she was at the end of her life when she wrote the book of magic spells. "What took you so long". "The owner of the box appeared". It was part of a plan. That's my theory and I am sticking to it.
I’m back…Why do I think some of the negative comments/reviews seem like they’re from trolls? Or maybe it’s…

Elif Kim, I feel bad that you feel this way. I didn't even realize what your comment meant until I scrolled below. Number One Rule for me (on MDL) is Do. Not. Take. It. Personally.
My mantra from time to time: "Stiffen the sinews. . . . " Shakespeare. Henry V. It means to become resolute and purposeful. Stay strong in supporting what you believe in. Cyber Hugs. 🥰
I watched a few minutes of ep. 4 on Viki last night and whereas Kocowa used the word "chirp", Viki used "nag". In fact the translation of their entire argument (you know who I mean so I'm not going to spell it out) was quite different in terms of the selected "words', with Viki showing far more (and different) words than Kocowa. Nothing really lost in translation - but the argument was a bit more fun to watch on Wiki because the actors had to memorize A LOT of Words. Too bad Viki is at least 12 hours behind Kocowa in translation.
Meanwhile, does MDL have a new rule re: the ratings? It's NA (not available?) - usually it's immediate upon airing.
I need there to be more scenes of ML and FL together!! Now the love triangle has officially started, I hope it…
Agree - the 1st time I watched (no subs), I FF thru a lot so when I re-watched the full episode, I realized - they were together only in opening scene and closing scene. 😢
However, 46 episodes to go and the first 6-8 episodes are laying the foundation for all of the characters. Press releases are clear - they help each other grow and heal and frankly, I will miss their bickering and arguing because they are so good at it.
Do you think that Taemin will end up with the news anchor? I am asking because there is no heart between them…
If I was going to guess, I think they will actually be forced into a real marriage - that's my guess why there is no heart/love-line. because whatever the end may be, it is definitely not a romantic pairing in the beginning. I think Tae Min gets a happy ending (episode 50, lol) but a happy marriage might not be part of it.
Problem is that i could predict almost everything since the early episodes-and no im not a drama genius or anything…
Just a reminder: Shaman Eun Wol said: "YOU killed her; - the owner of the bloody hand". So, he killed her - he apparently now REMEMBERS killing her. I don't know why viewers are determined to somehow erase that from the story.
But she was at the end of her life when she wrote the Book of Spells. She knew she would soon die (was she poisoned? cursed? sentenced to execution?). She wrote the spells and buried them in a box and for 3 centuries (probably not the original plan), waited for "the owner" to return to "life the curse from the person who killed her. "What took you so long to come"??!?
The writer laid the foundation and thus far it makes sense. It will make ZERO sense if somehow Jang Shin-yu "remembers" everything an ancestor did but it wasn't really him - it was some other family member.
that bickering scene was so so good, and so much chemistry as they went toe to toe with each other #somarried…
"He is already disproportional jealous of and petty to TH for no reason tbh,"
It will come as no surprise to you that I have a different perspective (and I'll also remind that there is only one reason I'm even trying this out and his name is Ha Jun), but Tae Min's character description on KBS site provides good reasons why he is jealous. From his perspective, his cousin - who,IMO, is like a brother to him - has been living "his Own Life" in the United States for several years. Tae Ho has made no sacrifice for the family or the company founded by their grandfather. Meanwhile, Tae Min has NOT been able to "live his own life" - he was forced to give up studying art for a business degree - he never had the opportunity to study in the US. After working several years in the company, Tae Min was forced to make the ultimate sacrifice - going to prison for his father's (or, perhaps even grandfather - we don't know) corruption. Meanwhile, Tae Ho was living his carefree life in the US.
Tae Min always liked Hyo Shim, but because of his social position, could never tell her his feelings. While in prison, Hyo Shim was a beacon of hope for him. Another reminder - this is not a Western culture where individuals are encouraged to live "their life" or "their truth". Tae Min, like Hyo Shim, is expected to be subservient to family/the business. Tae Min planned to break free of that.
That's why Tae Min is jealous - it makes perfect sense to me. I'm actually feeling a bit sorry for him that he won't be able to be with the woman he currently cares about (but. . . .Ha Jun. . . .there is no other option). I assume that he will have a happy ending with what's her name, but hope the triangle ends NLT Episode 20 or so - and not stretched out to the end.
Meanwhile, Tae Ho (because. . . Ha Jun) can do no wrong in my book and he is apparently (unintentionally) the catalyst for Hyo Shim finally breaking free from her family. If writer does it well (and press release for drama promise it), all of these mis-fit characters will eventually learn to "live their own life". Hopefully, it doesn't take 50 episodes for every single character to get to that point.
Lots to love in this drama - Ha Jun, Hyo Shim, Tae Min, Grandmother, older brother and his son, golf instructor and daughter, son who doesn't really want to be a lawyer but is forced to because "family", wannabe actress, and crossing fingers that TV Lady Host will not be a total bi**h for all 50 episodes.
I got “Social Butterfly” badge from MDL by hanging around this drama page and replying to almost every comment…
EK, I adored this drama at first, but no longer share your passion for the OTP or this drama, but you deserve the badge because you are cordial, polite and positive in all of your posts. [OTOH, I have found it incredibly difficult from posting my very negative thoughts on this drama - so many drafted posts, do many deletes. ] 🤣🤣🤣 Congratulations.
I enjoyed this, for the most part! However, there was something about it that was off, and I can't put my finger…
The Watchman Reveal was EPIC. Stunning choreography and cinematography. I'm in a drama slump - it's only been 5 months or so, but time to revisit. One of my favorite dramas ever!. 😄😄😄

If you have watched "Live Your Own Life" you would want a Ha Joon shower scenes as well.😄
