when will the trailer be released?
Netflix/tvN usually releases trailer 4 weeks in advance, so mid-to late June?

Keep an eye out for the official poster - usually comes a bit sooner. 😄

I'm watching for In-soo and hope his character is more admirable/adorable than the sink-hole he is currently in (Good Bad Mother).

You should try From now on showtime. It's not the same but that drama is soooo good. Or even Crazy love it's hilarious…
You and I disagree often on various dramas, but not for our mutual love of Crazy Love. 😘

Finished watching ep. 18. I don't know if it's on purpose to be that way, during the scene in the big living room…
As someone who was thrown into this part with no preparation time, I think the actor is doing fine and will soon get his bearings. Most dramas have a "script reading" where all the cast , directors, writers get together to meet each other several weeks before start of filming. They have time to read the early scripts, think about their character's personality etc.

I know this is showing wed/thurs but when does ep with eng sub get uploaded?
Last week it was almost exactly Midnight KST (8:00 am PDT for me). There may be a 15 minute delay - it showed up on my Prime page - but it was at least 10 minutes before I could watch.

This drama immediately reminded me of "Crazy Love" because the main protagonists (a guy in CL) are each bat-sh*t crazy in the 1st few episodes. Like "Bora!Deborah", the emphasis is on the main leads beginning as antagonists and gradually supporting each other.

I know there's the word romantic in the title but how strong is the romance in this one?
There are two main couples and they are different in tone/type. The drama is not pure romance (although that was its greatest appeal to most viewers) but rather a mix of romance and government (palace) intrigue

Four Knights was one of my first Kdrama's, the other two being The King: Eternal Monarch and What is Wrong With…
LOL, but Four Knights was my VERY FIRST K-drama (about 18 months ago). The cute graphics and sounds were so different from Western style TV that I kept watching (I think I was sick and I know I binged it over a couple of days). But at some point, there were women crying and sobbing in every episode - I almost stopped.

Her Private Life and WWWSK were next with Park Min Young and now I can't recall the last time I actually watched a Western series for more than a handful of episodes.

When did Soo Hyuk first realize that the woman who “took [his] breath away was definitely “Dating Coach Deborah”?…
There are many theories about this and that's part of why I am enjoying this drama. Some think he recognized her (the woman who took his breath away) in the jewelry store; I think it was the cafe; and the black dress moment is also a good one and in fact, if true, then would help explain why he was so resistant to spending non-working hours with her - that is, if he already knew that she was the same woman, why did he try to avoid her except for work time.

Nevertheless, that small scene where he looks up a woman's photo on someone's Ig post (Su Jin, I'm guessing) indicates that he was already beginning to connect the dots. Perhaps he suspected but was resisting/in denial because he didn't want to discover/find out that the wedding woman was "Deborah - the Dating Coach" - a thoroughly unlikeable woman to him.

So, now we ask why didn’t he pursue her or make his move then? I think this time we can see how the character…
"I'm a career woman in my thirties. My boyfriend and I went to the same school and we've dated for four years now." [from her letter]

My impression - after Soo-hyuk went to meet Yu-ri at "the same place" - is that they ran with the same crowd at university and post-graduate. He once made a comment about how most of their encounters were spent "drinking" but not doing anything special or memory-making and he was sorry about that. He made up the story about their school crowd was supposed to gather there to receive her invitations.

He knew she was drunk when she called him and he joked that "after all these years she hadn't changed." I think they just fell into a "relationship" at some point in their late '20s - perhaps after a night of drinking too much.

That's weird they didn't show us since when bora knew that he is dating her sister. Did i miss something? Or did…
Like many scenes and dialogue in this drama, the writer doesn't hit us over the head with a hammer. In Episode 11 (I think??), Bora and Yu Jung are teasing Jin-ho about his "shy" girlfriend named "Bom-yi" as they exchange knowing looks. Perhaps at this point, Korean viewers understood exactly what they were doing, but it went over my head the first time I watched.

When did Soo Hyuk first realize that the woman who “took [his] breath away was definitely “Dating Coach Deborah”?…
"Very relatable in my opinion."

I've noticed that the reaction of many viewers is based upon whether a particular scene (such as a break-up) or character is relatable to them. Perhaps that is the charm of this drama.

What's relatable to me? I was friends w/my husband for several years - (we were involved in same organization and met frequently) but not dating. We started dating because. . . .I was planning to move closer to work and he asked me not move. He has a hard time expressing his feelings, but actions speak louder than words and that's why I like the character of Soo-hyuk. Very relatable.

I think he might have realized that the woman from the jewelry store was the "black dress" woman when he was sitting in the cafe. He was shocked when they looked eye-to-eye. But perhaps it was nothing more than seeing this dreadful person again. I'm not sure we will ever find out when he connected all of the dots.

The sneakers. 😄During re-wind (due to Prime's awful subs) I suddenly realized Bo-ra was wearing SH's sneakers…
The note says (based on Apple Iphone translator so might be slightly inaccurate):

"Cheering for starting again, from Deborah's No. 1 fan."

Soo Hyuk - you dummy! Why didn't you include your name???

He's not going to be jealous - he's going to be hurt. 😥😥

Park So Jin looked familiar, after checking, she's in alchemy of souls, the wig Changes a person hh
And Park Sang Joon (who played Jang Kang in AoS) is also totally different. Not just the different make-up - personality is very different - great acting on his part.

I strongly dislike the "love at first sight" trope, so I'm hoping the Writer Gods are NOT going for that slant.

If it was love-at-first-sight, then he knew the individuals who could introduce him to her (Sang Jin and Su Jin) , but he never did. But apparently when her photo (the article)appeared in front of him, he became mildly curious once again.

Promised indepth exploration of side characters' stories was a LIE.Most of the time was wasted on retired Park…
"Promised in depth exploration of side characters' stories was a LIE."

This perfectly describes my disappointment with S2. Director-nim made this promise as they were finalizing S2 script and proceeding with filming. (june 2022).

Instead of exploring the back story of Park Dang Gu/Cho Yeon further, they threw them back to Square 1. Same for Park Jin. Mama Jin, Crown Prince, Queen Seo, Jin Mu, Heo Yoon Ok, So-i, the King, even Seo Yul. One note caricatures of what they portrayed in part 1.

Big Lie is Correct.

Can anyone name the two bodyguards real names? (the actor's name)
I haven't watched closely but this is from Wikipedia:

Choi Soon-jin as Manager So Ji-seok: Woo-byeok's servants.
Park Cheon as Assistant Manager Cha: Woo-byeok's servants (I don't see him on MDL cast list??)

At this point Sam Shik is just plain annoying. What is the point of him in the series even. Dude wastes time all…
As a fan of Yoo In-soo, I ask the same question. The Director asked him to take this role (He didn't audition). Filming of this drama began (late August 2022) while he was still filming Alchemy of Souls - he was going back and forth for about a month.

So far, I don't understand his purpose either, but I guess I am hoping Sam-shik - someone with street smarts (and a "pure heart" according to JTBC character description) - will eventually help Kang-ho win against the bad guys.

Mi-joo may never have showed romantic interest in him, but she cares about him as a friend.

“She took my breath away” [Ep. 12}. And “Is this the same person?” [Ep. 1]Discussion - w/ Ep. 12 (and…
When did Soo Hyuk first realize that the woman who “took [his] breath away was definitely “Dating Coach Deborah”? Yesterday, the poster “LittleFallOfRain” commented about a scene in Episode 1 so I re-watched the entire episode. Here’s the rundown:

Sang Jin and SH discuss a contract with “Dating Coach Deborah”, SY looks her up on the internet –it’s the unflattering photo/article that Bo-ra hated. And then he looks up someone’s IG page (Su Jin??) and asks “These two are the same person? Who is she really??”

SY now suspects that “Deborah” is the woman on the IG page – apparently the woman who “took his breath away.”. He listens to her Radio show [Who is she really?] and takes an instant dislike. [Is this the same person?]

Goes to a bookstore and skims through a “Deborah” book recommended by Sang Jin and then buys all 3 of her books. (“Who is she really?”)At this point, SH tells Sang Jin to set up a meeting with “Deborah” – that he is “oddly convinced” to explore the book deal. (“Is this the same woman?”)

Next –the sparring match in the jewelry store. At that point, did he recognize her as “Dating Coach Deborah” – the woman on the IG page?/who “took his breath away”?/the book writer. I hope not – he never really looked directly into her eyes. If he did recognize her, why was he determined to take the ring from her? [As God is my witness, if they go with some sort of – he fell for her years ago and didn’t want any other dude buying that ring – when he was supposedly there to buy something for Yu-ri, I will lose respect for the character. Writer Gods! Do not do that!]

Last, (this is the scene that LittleFallOfRain referenced), Bo-ra sees him in the café holding the ring box, they look DIRECTLY at each other as she pantomimes her “claim” to the ring. He is visibly shocked/stunned and drops the box. The woman who “took his breath away” a few years ago is not only the know-it-all b*tch in the jewelry store, she is probably “Dating Coach Deborah” (ig photo, books, radio show, etc.)

And within minutes, thanks to the woman “who took his breath away”, his girlfriend dumps him in the cruelest fashion possible.

And now. . . . Bo-ra knows most of the story. How will she react?
