She is powerful, but probably she has no idea about Alchemy of Souls, which is a forbidden sorcery, only Cheonbugwan…
Perhaps it's more recent. After all, soul-shifters begin to lose their energy after a period of time and require either the ice stone or other souls in order to maintain their bodies.
I'm curious to see who is more powerful between Jin Mu and Park Jin.I'm also curious if Jin Mu has shifted souls.…
Or. . . . is he an illusionist? He can do the alchemy of souls, but his major magic in Ep. 12 was an illusion. [which gets me back to my question whether it was truly Naksu's body that was burned or an illusion.]
At this point i dont know if i want:1. An epic battle Jang Kang x Jin Mu and JK destroying his evil pupil 2. Jang…
I'm afraid we will see the artifacts from Jinyowon unleashed as well. π£π£π£ Maybe that's where JBY will step in since she was able to handle them.
Jin Mu is trying to assemble quite the army of mages in young bodies - if we thought the battle on the ice was amazing choreography and cinematography, I'm expecting some 10X greater for the epic battle and I hope we get it in Season 1, even if it results in a stalemate or certain unfinished business (such as the ice stone). for Season 2.
Park Jin and Seo Yul sees everything in black and white, they donβt see the grey area. Itβs just either right…
I think Park Jin and Seo Yul are far more complex than simply "black and white". thinkers i see the writers are portraying them both as leaders who want the best for their country. They believe in the concept of "justice" and limiting chaos.
Seo Yul is struggling internally. He knows that a soul shifter (Naksu) is in Mu-deok's body and yet he hasn't revealed that to anyone. In fact, he hasn't even revealed to Mu-deok or Jang Uk what he knows.
Jang Uk knows full well what chaos and evil can be unleashed with the ice stone, but he doesn't care about those consequences if it will save Mu-Deok's life. What I see is a man who thinks that he will somehow be able control the ice stone ("just this one time") it may be like Jang Kang and the King . Just this "one time" eventually meant that the ice stone was eventually unsealed again (by Jin Mu). On the other hand, if we understand what happened between Jang Kang and Mama Jin (and we don't know yet), this "one time" meant that a child was born with amazing powers that will eventually be used to deal with the chaos of the ice stone.

**so that's why everytime BY emerges we see MD ends up hurting her eyes, blindfolded bec, like in that scene when was absorbing energy that much energy hurts naksu eyes, **
Well, that makes sense and since I've been focused on JBY's soul and energy/power, I haven't thought much about the physical. But a major element of AoS is The Eyes. It's in the posters, the title sequence, Jang Uk and MD's first meet-up.

I read the same theory somewhere - maybe it's accurate. But perhaps when the body's eyes are closed, Jin Bu-Yeon's extraordinary sense of energy becomes far more consequential - no visual distractions??? So many possible hints/clues to try and sort through.
It was an amazing scene and Jung So Min was mesmerizing. I know quite a bit was CGI and the music - but She Was Awesome!.

Well, I'm Team Jin Bu-yeon and so I think she does everything, LOL. πππ He called out to "Master" and she said "Jang Uk". I don't think they heard each other - they SENSED each other. Whether it gave him the courage to force through the illusion or it was JBY's amazing energy we may never know. They will team up in the future to deal with the ice stone chaos, so maybe it was a team effort today. Or not. π
Today we got a view of how Jung So Min will play the amazingly powerful, divine like Jin Bu Yeon without the blindfold. I want to see much, much more of these scenes (esp. if JSM isn't returning. )
LOL, but I've been thinking about him as I begin to do my weekly update of the Character Descriptions. Just what…
Thank you. when I update the Character Description List (in the DiscussionT opic section) do you think I should refer to her as a separate character? Or, the character that inhabits Queen Seo Ha-sun's body?
Guys, I think most people have been quick to assume that the original Mu Deok/Bu Yeon was a weak girl. She had…
Jin Bu-yeon was amazing today! First she sucked the energy out of the miserable miscreant Eunoch and killed the SOB and she ALSO used her energy to break the barrier around Jang Uk, enabling him to escape. Finally, when her finger dipped into the constellation water, a constellation appeared - I wish they told us which constellation it was; I looked for the King Star together with the Big Dipper and didn't see it but I imagine folks on Twitter are busy analyzing it. Bravo JBY.

Just wondering if I should refer to her as a separate character or as the soul-shifter that inhabits the Queen's body. I should probably spend my time re-aligning the character names with the Netflix spelling - the original names were from tvN and Han Cinema and many are spelled differently than Netflix. (Example Jang Wook vs Jang Uk)
OMG - still ROFL at the jade bonding interlude between Crown Prince and Uk - brilliant scene!
Did I understand correctly that the jade pendants themselves attract each other (like magnets) and not the "souls" of whomever is carrying them. Seems to be useful if one is amongst soul-shifters on every block.
Many people complaining about the love lines meanwhile I'm just thinking what about our guy Sang Ho? πHe is…
LOL, but I've been thinking about him as I begin to do my weekly update of the Character Descriptions. Just what is his purpose long term??? I'm beginning to fear for Sang Ho. I don't think he is Chisu - Jim Mu's henchman was able to at least stalemate him. Jim Mu says he wants to find a mage w/in Songrim to use for soul shifting.
Iππ him with Yoon-ok
Meanwhile, I'm trying to figure out how to identify the soul shifter Shaman lady.
