For Part 1: They filmed from October 2021- May 2022For Part 2: July 2022- not sure to those who are curious, calculate…
They were still filming in June (sound-stage) but Team B (outdoor group, I believe) finished in May. I believe filming began in the summer of 2021 (based upon some IG posts). They had to begin scenes without the FL because they were switching to JSM (who was also filming a movie around that time). If they rush Part 2, then we can say good-bye to incredible cinematography, choreography (sword fights, etc)), and complicated stunts. I'm willing to wait for the complete package.
So when is part 2 coming? Also Iโm I the only one who thinks that maybe mu deok is the daughter of Jin ho?
No info on part 2 schedule (Filming just began) . Most viewers here on MDL have accepted the fact that Mu-deok is the missing eldest daughter of Jin Ho-gyeong and Jin Woo-tak.
What is everyone's favourite scene(s) from the show thus far?
1. Battle on the ice, especially the choreography and cinematography of Park Jin and Naksu.
2. The entire sequence with Gwiju - Jin Cho-yeon walking into Songrim, the 1st attack and then the 2nd attack and Jang Uk smashing Gwiju's "home' just in time to save Mu-deok.
3. Foreheads touching.
Edit to add: 4. JBY's soul saving Jang Uk from Gil-Mu's attempt to soul shift. When I saw that,I said out loud "Holy, Holy, Holy Be Still My Heart." and I stopped the stream and re-watched three more times before proceeding. ๐
On a serious note, we already saw that she was really well dressed (and also the soul shifter son) so she ( Yeom…
Just did a quick re-watch. I got the son's name wrong - it is "Geon". Jang Kang was going to retrieve his soul and Mom blamed him - she didn't say much, but you are right - they were both dressed like nobility, not a villager.
Have we ever seen Jin Mu with a sword? I've glanced through some episodes and so far I haven't seen one at his side. We also don't see him casting spells or performing sorcery. He was a mere servant/pupil of Jang Kang. He may be Co-Villain, but I don't understand how HE could have been the one to train Naksu.

In the same episode, the King said Jang Kang had spent his time "transferring souls into dead bodies". So, I wonder if "Geom" was a colleague or friend who had died - and Jang Kang was trying to revive him.
Naksu is ~10 years older than ML. She was already ~10 years old when her father was killed, which was 20 years…
I agree it's difficult. If she was 10 at the time, that would explain (to me anyway) how she was able to excel so quickly as a mage - it was harder to believe if she was only 4-5 when Jin Mu began.
If you rewatch the first episode when he will fight Naksu he was so bold and played some Thor and openned his…
I loved that scene! In fact, I loved that entire sequence - the cinematography, the choreography, a not-so-young Park Jin flying into the air. That one arrow that he conjured up that gained energy as it sped through the air (atmosphere).

I'm curious why you believe Naksu was 10 years old when her father was killed. The maid easily scooped her up to hide her so my guess (and it's pure guess) has been that she was 4-5 years old in that scene. I wonder what Jin Mu saw in Naksu's constellation plate because her father didn't indicate that there was anything particularly amazing (but maybe there is more to that father/daughter scene).
Park Jin acts so sudden most of the time...like the strict leader of Songrim, the caring father like behaviour…
Yoo Joon Sang is a great actor - apparently an accomplished musician as well. Maybe we get to see him play an instrument and sing to Kim Do-joo. Would love to see that. I read somewhere that he had to go through a lot of physical training to prepare for the sword fights.
Not sure. But she will stop being his maid in front of everyone. Arranged marriage can happen too.
Mother Jin has never been up close to Mu-deok. The only time they were near each other was when Jang Uk brought Mu-deok out of the vault and her face was turned away from the mother. I'm pretty certain that was intentional.

And just let me say. . . Mu-deok, this is not the way to a man's heart. ๐ฅ

First: do not kill Jin Bu-yeon.
Second: Now more than ever, Do not kill the dog. His home was just crushed and dumped into Lake Gyeongcheondaeho. Repeat: Do. Not. Kill The Dog.
