I think they said Jang Uk walked BEFORE Dang Gu. I took that to mean they were about the same age or Jang Uk perhaps a bit younger.

I agree with all of the ages although Cho-yeon might be a bit older (18-19?)

But Naksu did NOT successfully soul-shift with her! That's the point - Mu-deok (JBY) chose Naksu even though Naksu was trying to soul-shift with a woman closer in age and build.

It's mid-week - here's an interesting fact (interesting to me, that is)

Young Bu-yeon is portrayed by actress Yun Hae Bin who is 11 years old; she has quite the resume. It’s not definitive but good indicator that JBY is approximately close in age to Park-gu, Seo Yul and Jang Uk.

Naksu tried to select a soul shift victim who was around her own age and build - instead Mu-deok (JBY) chose her.

I 💕 JBY - I think she is the sacrificial lamb, which is why I'm backing away from my early obsession. 😥

One theory - just a theory - is that Bu-yeon (Super Mage) has been waiting for the right moment. I don't think we will have an answer until Ep 19 or even 20.

People choose the entertainment they watch (whether drama, movies, "reality", whatever" for a variety of reason - thriller, actors, romance, fantasy, quirky characcters, whatever. Perfectly understandable that fans who came to this show because of JSM feel this way.

Unless it was a fake. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Reminder - Naksu's body was frozen when Jin Mu and Gil-ju absconded with it - it may still be on ice. WHY ELSE make the point about the body being frozen???

I would watch in a heartbeat to see Jung So Min play blind Jin Bu-yeon with all her power/energy. Unfortunately, I don't think that's the plan. 😥

Bu-yeon has her hands full supporting two souls and keeping Jang Uk safe - I don't think she's going to wake up any time soon although if and when she does, it better be JSM's portrayal!

Bu-yeon said something like "all living things have energy". And in the first episode, we were told that humans who had to the power to control this great energy [of the lake} were called mages. My impression is that being part of a mage family helps - it's probably inherited to a significant extent, but not necessarily required.

Bu-yeon could kick Naksu out of her body just by lifting her little pinkie. Bu-yeon is keeping Naksu alive for whatever her purpose may be, which I believe to be protecting Jang Uk. I hope she survives, but not counting on it.

The show seems to have two descriptions: (1) the impact of soul-shifting and (2) the character development of young mages. I kinda liked the vibe between Heo Yeon Ok and Sang-Ho who apparently at this point doesn't have a surname so I hope it isn't Choi.

I think you and I agree. Master Lee said "she will protect him" before the Gil-ju event (I think?). He meant the "great soul" and he meant JGY although, like you, I'm not sure he realized that she is JBY.

Although after watching today, I think Master Lee knows exactly who Jang Uk and Jin Bu-yeol are - they are the heirs to Seo Gyeong and Jin Seolran.

As I noted earlier, the music director for AoS writes most of the lyrics and coordinates with the artist for the tone and mood they are trying to achieve.

I went back and watched the 1st scene when she entered Songrim (she was coming to get Jang Uk after he spent a night out in the cold). She approached the gate. . . .and then just seemed to walk through - no evidence of a Spirit Plaque. But then, I'm wondering how did Jang Uk get into Songrim after Mu-deok stole his that first time. Maybe one of those questions the viewer isn't supposed to ask. 😂😂

Naksu's body was frozen when it was retrieved from Songrim (secret room at Jeongjingak) by Gil-ju and Jin-mu, so it may still be on ice somewhere in Cheonbugwan. That's the only solution I can think of - as of now.

Regarding the Jae-wook "spoiler" on his photo card, here is the original video w/all six of the young Daeho Elites. I've tried to find a subbed version, but no luck thus far.

All of the articles regarding the OST mention that the artists worked hand-in-hand with the music director Nam Hye-seung. She is apparently the one who writes most of the lyrics as well.
