I do not think that TS Fitness fits within the story line now, especially as Hyo-Shim no longer is employed there.…
"How will they explain the frequent moves and his use of intermediaries when renting properties?"
If he had amnesia or dementia, then someone was taking care of him??? Of course, if his care-giver had his original "registration" # then they should have been able to also use the "missing persons" system as well.
Admittedly, I don't pay attention to the current "hunting for dad" story, but I had some impression that he was simply "the man at the piano studio", not the person that taught piano. And the "chopsticks" was a big hint.
The older three and younger two are half-siblings. Lee Do Han and Lee Ji Han are illegitimate children of grandpa’s…
She gave birth to two kids: older brother and sister. the 3rd one is the guy's wife.
I was trying to understand why Grandfather said that ji Han was "his" (grandfather's) problem. But I haven't finished ep. 2 so perhaps there was further explanation.
Well, I for one am happy that the writer doesn't forget about giving closure for every of her plot lines bc we…
Well, I've always perceived two main plots - Hyo-shim's family dynamic caused by Dad's absence and the Taesan family/conglomerate mysteries and secrets.
I don't think either one will be wrapped up next weekend, because folks aren't going to tune in to see Landlady's grandson. If nothing else, I think Director Park will lob one more major plot twist into the Taesan mess. Plus, Yeom and Dragon mom won't be punished until the very last weekend, because other than a wedding, punishing the villains is also must-watch tv.

At this point, the only purpose of Hyo-shim's apartment is product placement, lol. We will never see the Rainbow studio apartments again and probably say goodbye to chicken restaurant, Park Woo-joo's apartment and Landlady's apartment. Time for granny to move back home as well.
HS's father may be "minor", but his ABSENCE is the entire foundation of this drama. So, his return is not going to be a minor blip. I was hoping he was a cheating scoundrel but the photos and other "hints" are too obvious at this point, so I'm going with a stupid amnesia or early dementia twist. Which will totally white-wash the entire "walked out the door, didn't go to work, didn't tell anyone where he was going, but somehow had a duffel bag with him" back-story we originally saw in the flashbacks.
Didn't he say something about his eyes? Like, "my eyes aren't that small" or some reference to their size.It caught…
I guess I haven't seen any negativity towards HaJun but then his appeal (to me) was always his hot/cold bi-polar talent. I agree that there was a bit o fourth wall breaking in that dialogue. 😊
1. The scenes shown during Episodes 42/43 this weekend (at "Daegwallyeong" Pass and at Tae Min's home) were filmed only 9-10 days prior. Previously, location (outdoors) filming has been 2-3 weeks in advance. Maybe it's the weather (Korea has experienced a very cold winter this year) or simply abbreviated filming schedules? I don't know.
2. As the drama winds down, some of the mega studio sets are probably being torn down (specifically, TS Fitness)) as small studio sets continue to be more prominent. Earlier when the drama began, 80% of scenes were "location/outdoors" because they began filming 3 months in advance but TRHC was still filming in studio OR at various coffee shops. LYOL has been superior in terms of outdoor/location scenes - really enjoyed the drone camera shots at "Daegwallyeong" Pass.
3. Preview for Episode 44:
Taemin tells Taeho that he'll take care of everything and that he should get married and be happy. Hyo-sung finds Yeom-moo's old cell phone and gives it to Tae-min, and in the meantime, Tae-ho gets in touch with director Park Jin-myung. Tae-ho doesn't hesitate to approach Sun-soon to win her heart, and Seon-soon is stunned. Meanwhile, she is horrified to see her grandson, who lives in the United States, in a café. And with filial piety, he traces his grandson's whereabouts...
I'm always interested in anything involving Taesan/TM/TH but Landlady and her grandson? WTF writer - do you really think we care at this point? Heck, we hardly care about Hyo Shim's daddy.
I also cackled about the way Taeho was complaining about gremlin's rejection of him bc it feels like a complete…
Didn't he say something about his eyes? Like, "my eyes aren't that small" or some reference to their size.
It caught my attention because HaJun said in a recent interview that he has had 3 separate eye surgeries. I admired him (the actor) for being that candid.
When the drama began (September 2023), viewers were told that the accident was "3 years ago". Sequence: Grandfather Chairman died, Jun Bum/wife died during battle for Chairmanship , Grandmother locked up soon thereafter (“I was locked up for THREE years”, she said in Ep. 45). So, accident s/b 2020.
But when TVLive mentioned the accident, it was usually August 2019.
Thus, for the sake of anything resembling continuity, at this point, 3-4 years is close enough.
They've never mentioned Tae Hee's age, but the actress is 26 so I've always assumed 24/25 (current). She finished college and was apparently living at home at the time of the accident, so age 22/23 works for that time period. Drinking age (part of my research for travel plans) in Korea is 19.
To the extent I "forgive" any fictional character, Tae Hee comes way ahead of Grandmother who was the FIRST person to try and cover up the accident plus. . . TM considers her to be his sister, blood or not, and that's the reason she finally confessed. Plus. . . it's fiction. 😇🤣😇🤣
Ummmmmm. . . . . Tae Hee came clean because Tae Min told her that nothing changed between them, even though she wasn't his bio sister.
The info Tae Hee provided is the last puzzle piece and therefor Tae Ho will forgive her. Tae Min was already investigating Yeom's history with the family but the info Hyo Seung provided (the dump truck) would have been circumstantial at best - not enough to convict of intentional murder.
Episode 44. More major revelations today (which I won’t spoil), but the highlights for me were;
1. Tae Min assuring Tae Hee that she will always be his sister, regardless of having a different birth mother.
2. Jin Bum finally let Granny have it when she once again prioritized Tae Ho’s happiness over everyone else – including Tae Min. I don’t yell at the TV very often, but today it was a big “Hell Yes” when he told her that she was just like Sook-hyang in how she manipulated the family. Granny blames all of their problems on Sook-hyang and Sook-hyang blames all of her problems on Granny. It was perfect Well done writer-nim, (but I still can’t forgive you for sending Su-Kyung away).
Granny – you divided the family. Your “sorry/not sorry” schtick doesn’t work any more.

Episode 45 Preview:
"When he [Yeom] finds out that he has been deceived by Sookhyang all his life, he can't hold back his anger. Hyosung returns to the company at Taemin's urging and tells Hyo-shim not to look for his father anymore. Thanks to Ruby's SNS promotion effect, even celebrities come to Sunsoon's café. Tae-ho comes to Uicheon Villa to persuade Seon-soon, who is against the marriage, and everyone except Seon-soon welcomes Tae-ho. Meanwhile, Tae-hee feels sorry for Tae-min, who always takes care of her, and tells him the story she's been hiding."
When the show ended last week, I couldn't figure out why Tae Hee was there at the door. What was the connection? But after today, when she listened to the entire conversation, I think Tae Hee knows what happened the night of the accident. Time for Tae Min to put his family back together - father, sister and eventually Hyo So.
Another great episode featuring the cool, brilliant Kang Tae Min who, unlike his brother, remains in control of his emotions while determined to search for the REAL truth and justice. And Granny! when Tae Min previously asked you for the evidence, you should have trusted him! (of course, the show would have ended 10 episodes ago, but still. . . .). Preview for tomorrow is below and based on ig photos, Tae Min finally sheds the turtlenecks, but swaps them for black suit and tie. Wardrobe folks - the man does have some artistic leanings so level up. in one of the photos, Tae Min is carrying one of those chicken wing bags, so I'm expecting some nice brother/sister moments. 😊
Jin Bum didn't find out about the cancer until AFTER the accident. I thought he indicated that if he had known before, he might not have reacted the same way. I wonder if Dragon Mom knew.
Also happy to report that Hyoshim finally went home after 84 yrs and her apartment still exists.
I wrote a comment several hours ago (before subs) and I guess it got lost but the essence was that they returned to the apartment because. . . Product Placement!

I've been away for several hours, but just checked Viki and Episode 44 is now available (7:30 pm PST) - which I think is a bit earlier than usual?
