I think people here suffer from the waiting and overthinking about what remained in the story. Shut down ur speculation…
I love all the characters and I love to speculate. It's a great drama - caveat, of course, that Hae-in lives and spends the rest of her life with Hyun Woo. If not. . . . the wrath of,. . . . . . . etc., etc, but I'm not worried.
Partial rough (very rough) translation: HI: something about praying to see each other in heaven (??) HW: I wasn't praying to go to heaven. HI: So? HW: I want you to have the surgery. I won't ask you to save all of [my]? memories. I just asked to save you
Writer-nim has laid it all out about the power of prayer and Hyun-woo's prayers. It's all so obvious to me and I'm feel so sorry for those who are pessimistic. π₯
Anyone here remember our convo a few weeks ago about Hae-in's health - and the theory that perhaps Mad Moh had been poisoning her?
Today, writer-nim telegraphed many β like A Great Many β clues that Hae-in is not dying. She has already survived 1 month beyond the original date (diagnosis in late May/death est. late August). She hasnβt had a memory lapse or black-out/collapse in 5-6 weeks. One hallucination (Eun-seong) around the same time. NO evidence of a speech impediment. NO evidence of sensory loss. In Episode 13, in what was supposedly over a week or two of time, she suffered NO memory lapses and instead remembered a great deal β whether short term or long term.
As the Keeper of the Madwoman Moh Suspicious Body Count, Hae-inβs current health crisis has been a sub-category, βdying/poisonedβ. Especially when Moh told her son βForget her [Hae-in]. You will eventually.β Itβs been almost 2 months since she was living at the Queens compound β thus 2 months since her food has been prepared by Moh. As someone here (sorry, I canβt recall who) speculated, the headaches could be withdrawal symptoms from poison.
So, although Hyun-wooβs video was heartbreakingly beautiful, I think writer-nim is gently manipulating us again and has prepared a very different plot twist for Hae-in. Which, frankly, would be a good thing if we donβt have to suffer through amnesia/time-skip trope.
That's Hyun Woo's job. With a sniper shot. Somethings ARE foreshadowed, ya know. π€£π€£π€£
Oh, it's the little things like. . . .Eun Seong and Hyun Woo pointing their rifles at each other in the forest and Eun Seong carelessly pointing his gun at the dog and then swinging around with it aimed right at Hyun Woo (who did not flinch) and saying with a smile "I almost shot you again." Plus the fact that Hyun Woo is a skilled marksman (Marine Corps Reconnaissance Unit.). So, consider it my little fantasy about the final end of Eun -Snake.
Perhaps no guns but I fully expect a fight to the finish but, alas, I suppose Hyun Woo won't really kill him π₯π₯- unless Hae-in is in peril, of course. π
Only 3 eps left, Please tell the writer Eun Seong can die now. He can bring Ms Moh and Grace too. Im only giving…
There is only one proper death for Eun Seong and it's a sniper bullet through the eye - curtesy of Hyun Woo, of course. π
We need ES to stay around for awhile so he can kill his mother when he finds out the truth (whatever it is) for why she was insane enough to plot this for 30 years, dump him in an orphanage, and kill a bunch of folks who got in her way. ππ
I loved Episode 13! It was a great episode - the happy ending is in sight for Hae-in/Hyun-woo, their families, and justice for the villains.
Just raised my rating back to 10β because even if we get more twists, the viewer knows in advance and can prepare for it. THAT is the sign of excellent writing talent.
The writing of the drama is becoming totally ridiculous. I mean, after what Mo Seul Hee has done to them, why…
Da Hye was at the orphanage when Mo Seul Hee was in charge of the Queens Scholarship fund. they go back a long way - which explains why Moh Seul Hee was able to promise her the good life if she managed to snare Soo-cheol.
Plus, now he will be able to use his new boxing skills to rescue her or save her.
Not all aunties. Bang Sil (the chubby one) is the girl who claims that Hyun Woo flirted with her in highschool.I…
I track the dates to keep the writers honest??? i'm not sure why they are playing around with it - sloppy? goofed in earlier filming but couldn't correct? There is even weirder stuff - like the dress that Secretary Na showed Hae-in in the hospital is the dress she wore at the wedding three years ago? Maybe inside joke on the part of the writers? Call it a hobby of mine.
They released a still cut for ep 13-14, So Haeins memory will start to fade more I guess πhttps://x.com/soohyunupdates/status/1781492417088364714Read…
Her diagnosis was May 26th. The balsam fingernail scene in the pre-leases indicates the drama is now in fall/autumn (and characters definitely not in hot summer clothes) - soo she's technically already made it past her three month prognosis.
I mentioned several hours ago below, that I was fearing a memory loss plot twist. Definitely not appealing to this viewer. Not my type of romance, I guess. π

I guess it was the term "aunties". Bang Sil is the same age as Hyun-woo/Hae-in and I think of "aunties" being a generation older.
Thanks for the translated sub.π
QoT playing calendar games with us. Her diagnosis (3 months to live) was late May. But we are in "autumn"/fall?? She's now past the 3 months by my reckoning! [Or, are we dealing with silly alternative dimensions/universe??] Hope not, but KSH DID say "fantasy". π€£π€£π€£

Keep the faith and take a re-look at the "Miracle" poster which was released before the drama began. This scene was in the preview (link: https://tvn.cjenm.com/ko/queenoftears/#localePhotoPopup/27069-17016/3874/%EA%B8%B0%EC%A0%81-%ED%8F%AC%EC%8A%A4%ED%84%B0-%F0%9F%8C%BE-%F0%9F%92%95). Translation of the heading:
"At this moment, a love story that starts again like a miracle."
Uncle created a company (I'll have to rewatch to catch the name) and it has been buying up shares of Queens when the price plummeted.
Eun seong is going to use some of the money to try and buy Uncle over to his side.
Mom is going to be furious that her son is flying off to Frankfurt instead of taking care of business at home. I bet she goes to Uncle herself.
Plus, now he will be able to use his new boxing skills to rescue her or save her.
Netflix release is early morning for me, so off to bed I go while everyone counts down the hours.
I'm counting on Uncle Beom-seok to finally make his appearance. πππ
