You know she is only doing that because she wanted something from the sml
She didn't say she would take care of him. She told him to trust her, she would never make him cry. And according to her, she made that promise to get him to marry her.

That's what we have seen thus far thru Episode 8 - she made casual promises because of what SHE wanted, she never really understood that he DID trust her (the episode w/the fake racoon - she was amazed that he may have believed her but really, what the scene demonstrated was that he WANTED to believe her).

However, after all this time, she finally realizes that she doesn't simply want him to be by her side, but she wants to be by HIS side and I think the next several episodes will show HER side of the relationship/marriage over the last few years.

Guysss is the wife of Soo Cheol evil? (I'm only at ep2). Her vibes are so off for me, he's very suspicious for…
Not "evil" per se, but more of a "grey" character - and this drama has plenty of those.

Looking at the BTS of the Germany honeymoon scenes, I wonder if they'll actually show their honeymoon in an episode.…
I think we will get more substantive flashbacks and/or scenes in the Epilogue from the honeymoon. 😊

I believe in Special Episode for those scene...truly peak romance in a drama
Unfortunately, The special episode already aired in Korea - it was a summary of scenes from Episodes 1 and 2 so that viewers could get caught up and/or introduced quickly to the drama.

question to ask?1..Lee boo bin betrayed Kwak Dong Yeon why? 2.The son might not be his? 3. Lee boo bin cheat Kwak…
1.Da-hye (Lee Boo Bin) was fake from the beginning. In reality, she was an orphan at the same orphanage as Eun Seong - at a minimum, she is a very good friend (she calls him by his casual name Eun Seung). However, when she married Soo-cheol (Kwak Don Yeon), the family thought her Korean father was a professor at an Ivy League school. She was brought into the family by Grace and Eun Seong as part of the plan to oust the Queens family - she was promised a lot of money to play her part.
2. The drama has hinted that the baby might not be his.
3. We don't know the story behind her son's DNA, but the Hong family doesn't rely upon "nature" to become pregnant - they ordered Hae-in and Hyun Woo to go through a "procedure", so probably the same for Da hye and Soo-cheol.

I'm more excited for soocheol dahye story... hope she comes back asap 🥹
Locating her will be a key part of Hyun Woo's counter-attack.

Honestly, I still think she is Eun Seong's sister (perhaps half sister).

I'm just curious, as I keep thinking about this: if the divorce is not yet final, then does that mean hyunwoo…
Not an expert in Koren law, but I don't believe the divorce (final or not) makes a difference in the investigation.

The family is under investigation because Grandfather "embezzled" money from the corporation and transferred it to a personal slush fund. It's not clear who in the family was aware of that or perhaps had their own slush funds, but as his heirs, they presumably all benefited - taxes weren't paid, etc.

However, Hyun Woo was not an heir and he never owned any stock. Thanks to Hae-in, he was recently audited and he was the squeakiest of all squeaky cleans. Finally, he will be expected to cooperate and he's the one who discovered how the outside audit firm was part of the scheme - which will put a spotlight on the outside audit firm.

heaven knows where this is headed, but my hunch is that Hyun Woo's goal is to stall for time (and I don't think the family will be in Youngdu-ri until the last episodes) for 2 reasons: invalidate the POA and get Hae-in back to Germany for treatment - and she can't leave the country right now.

This drama is about to climb the second steep slope of the roller coaster ride. 😊

Divorce in Korea

Earlier, some were wondering about the divorce process in South Korea and the "30 day" element. I've checked several sites and this seems to be how it goes:

Divorce by agreement (the type we are talking about here) is something that both parties sign and file with the court.
The magistrate will schedule an appearance. They must appear before a magistrate in person - if children are not involved, this usually happens w/in 30 days.
They must confirm to the magistrate that they both still want the divorce and then it will be approved/final.

Korean viewers who are watching the calendar know that 30 days have not passed and will understand that it's not final/final. Will we get a scene in front of a magistrate? Or reconciliation before that? Or, they fail to show up? They return to Germany at some point (the "miracle poster).

They are clearly separated; Hyun Woo clearly assumes it will be finalized soon. The ball is now in Hae-in's court to get the marriage back on track but has she learned that manipulating Hyun Woo with false promises is not the best strategy?("I only promised to never make you cry so that you would marry me"). I hope so. 😊

Title Doctor Slump
The drama should have 12 episodes instead of 16. Too many unnecessary scene.
I finally completed as well and tend to agree. If they wanted to highlight the reality of depression and PTSD, then it should have extended throughout the end. Instead, they seemed to wrap it up for the most part (yeah, I know, her appt. with her psychiatrist was late in the series) along about Ep. 10 or 11.

Very enjoyable, no unnecessary violence or death, very sweet couple. 8⭐.

Compared to many of the other romantic comedies in the last year (My Demon, Destined, Wedding Impossible, Good/Bad Mom, King the Land, Lovely Liar, etc. etc) I finished this one w/out FF finger.

If you look at the poster, both of them are "fading" - the foreshadowing couldn't be any clearer about the end. I may put this on hold until the last episode so that I can FF through the "ghost of the day" scenes (except for Seo Ji Hoon - I must toughen up for Ep. 6).

She won't die. She'll be pregnant.

With twins (lol, I'm a twin Mom so I always predict twins).

I don't know much about business, I only watch dramas and Kim Soo Hyun Lol. I guess I didn't learn anything from…
They haven't lost everything - but between Eun Seong's stock ownership (31%) and Mistress Bitch's legal control over Grandfather's shares, ( my back-of-the-envelope calculation is about 20%), they now control >50% of the shares. They got other shareholders to agree to throw the family out of "Queens Group", but they still own their personal stock, personal bank accounts, etc.

The danger is if and when they are prosecuted for fraud they will be personally liable and at that point could lose their personal fortunes - that's why Hyun Woo (presumably) advised them to disappear while he plans the counter-offensive.

My assumption is that he will be rescuing Hae-in from a deranged Eun Seong at that point. Or, call it wishful thinking. 😊

Guess the only way for the Hong family to have their company back is just for Hyun Woo, Hae In and her aunt to…
Unfortunately, Gramps knew that she was fake and still gave her the POA.

They need to prove that she's been poisoning him all along. - if they can do that, they can challenge the POA. Best way to do that is to get his hair analysis. Maybe that's why they are in a hospital - that would be fun. 🤣🤣🤣

We still don't know how she weasled her way into the Grandfather's orbit; what happened to the original Moh Seul Hee (assuming she was a real person at one time); is there anything more than greed (and obsessive ambition for her son) that has driven her to go after the Queens family.

Lots of people around her and Eun Seong have died "mysteriously" - that's the proof they need to bring her to her knees.

I have a very different view - There is no indication whatsoever that om wanted her son to marry into the family. In fact, in Episode 8, it was very clear that she doesn't want her son near Hae-in - she didn't want him sitting next to her at the 80th birthday party. I bet she doesn't know about the necklace he wears.

However, we shall see how it all unfolds.

Do you mean Eun Seong's mother? Eun seong wasn't in Korea for the last several years and certainly nowhere near Hae-in. I wouldn't be surprised if Mistress Bitch has been systematically ensuring that no further heirs are born to the Queens Group.

Uncle falsely accused of embezzlement and expelled from the family
Soo-cheol - somehow, Grace - who introduced Da Hye into the family - thinks that the baby is not Soo-cheol's
Hae-in - miscarriage.
And for extra noir value - the presumptive heir Hong Su Wan died in a "mysterious boat accident"

What are the odds, lol

Pretty sure we will, especially after Ep. 8 when Hyun Woo reminded Soo-cheol that he wasn't just "in the Marines" but that he was part of the Special Guard Team.
