I know this is a drama and they need this for plot, but they should have been more careful with showing their affection for each other. To kiss in such place was just very tricky. Oh well, 6 more episodes of angst.

I can't believe Yang Mi is playing a "guy" for more than half of the show. Lmao.

I think Tilan is going to die soon.

Based on the calendar with the spoilers, they're only going to find out Hai Shi is a girl at ep 34(?) so Tilan might die before that or soon after. Because how are they gonna start the love triangle if she's still alive? Based on the teasers for ep 27-28, it seems like Tilan and the emperor have a better relationship which makes me wonder how they're going to pull off the love triangle between Hai Shi, the emperor and shifu?

I feel like this show would have fit better if it was 12 episodes. With 16 eps, everything is dragging too much.

Ngl, Sae Bom calling Yi Hyun "my husband" gives me happiness.

No hate, but I have to turn off a part of my brain's logic to enjoy this show.

It has this weird skin blurring filter they put on the actors and actresses which is just off-putting. In addition, the lighting is awful and the overall production looks cheap. But regardless of how ironic the story is, I'm entertained (which is the whole point for watching this show).

I don't know why this show is called happiness when the episodes are literally giving me anxiety (but like good anxiety bc the show is quite good)

I need to wait another week to find out what happens next in that last scene???? The suspense.

I didn't know I was into guys with dimples until I saw Nam Yoon Su with his double dimples.

In ep 12, it was revealed that FZ chose to be the "baixi" of the emperor. This is the reason why FZ gets wounded when the emperor gets hurt.

Can someone tell me what the implications are if he's the baixi? FZ said that he can't take a step closer to HS (hinting that he has feelings for HS) because of that. But I really can't think of anything bad other than he might die earlier because there are so many attempts to kill the emperor. If the emperor is willing to bless him with marriage to another girl, why will it be a problem to be together with HS?

Take this as a grain of salt because the source where I got this from is kinda sketchy. Based on the novel, Fang Zhu and Di Xu dies. Before this, Hai Shi will marry Di Xu (which is the emperor) She will give birth to a child after she becomes a widow, which will later become the emperor. Because of this, she will become the empress dowager and spend the rest of her life alone.

Tragic. But hopefully the drama won't go through this course.

The new trailer/teaser is giving me youth Cdrama vibes and I like it.

I know Rowoon is the main lead but I keep getting distracted by Yoon Su's dimples when he smiles. He looks so good. His character is also really kind. And even with his little screen time, he has already stolen my heart.

I think I'm going to prepare my heart for angst with this drama.

I really hope the writer is not going to pull "the break up" before the final ep troupe. We still have 6 eps left. With the preview, the live triangle seemed to be extended. However, Du Sik's issues are still relatively unknown to Hye Jin and I feel like that's going to be the major blockage (and plot device in the story) in their present relationship.

Sung Hyun taught me in today's ep to always take the risk. The fact that at some point Hye Jin had a crush on him but nothing ever happened between them because he (they) was (were) to shy to admit it, is really pitiful.

Don't get me wrong, Du sik all the way but how unfortunate for Sung Hyun.

Honestly, I really like Hye Jin's wardrobe. It's very chic ( or it could be just Shin Min Ah's beauty helping out)

Even when he turned around last minute back to Gongjin, JSH was still too late. I feel bad for him for real because he seemed really nice and also deserved to be happy.

Zhao Lusi is extra pretty here. I've always found her good looking but with the beautiful pastel costumes and intricate hair styles, her beauty shines more. 😍

She will start knowing a bit about her first life by ep 40 (I think) but she will not really remember it until ep 43. When she regains almost all her memories in her first life (ep.43), she will remember Bai Jue.
