I much preferred the lovely hugs in this to any bed scene. What both characters needed after all the chaos was long-lasting comfort and reassurance, which was shown so well by their cuddles, smiles and hand-holding. I'm glad the writer didn't force anything into the script just because modern audiences "expect" it. As you said, in ABP it was a bit awkward and felt out of place. For me, the ending was just right. The calm after the storm.
We all are the stupid fans who demanded for bed scene ( In general bed scene could be anything like purchasing…
Well, there are quite a lot of scenes featuring beds, so you should be very happy! 😂 I think it had the perfect balance. All those lovely cosy hugs were far more satisfying than some of the bed scenes in other dramas.
Is this 42 or 48 episodes long because YouTube has it at 48 episodes?
48 on Viki. You often see Chinese dramas listed with different numbers of episodes. They have a tendency to just chop them into conveniently-sized chunks depending on what the broadcasting platform wants, so you can find the same drama (adding up to the same length and with exactly the same scenes) as 42 episodes on one platform and 48 on another. The episodes are just different lengths.
WHAT IF....... We get a CL Season 2???The series is so amazing that I personally don't want it to end AT ALL....
Honestly, I prefer not to have a season 2. If a drama is good and ends well, that's the best. Then I can watch it again if I liked the characters. Second seasons tend to be forced, with weak storylines, especially if all the story arcs in season 1 were concluded satisfactorily. I would love to see another new drama by this writer though (new characters, new story), as they have proved they can write well.
Well, she's going to begin connecting the dots, isn't she? The blue dress that was a gift from her true love?…
Yes, Sina isn't stupid. Once she starts thinking about it, she'll know what BSY has been up to. I'm hoping Sina and NGJ compare notes, and come up with a brilliant and crazy plan.
A couple of days ago, I wrote that every character had met or seen Secretary Jo before he met Park Tae-young,…
That's a good analysis. Secretary Jo is a classic case of a character who is hiding in plain sight. He's in a. lot of scenes, but seems so unimportant and self-effacing that you tend to assume he's irrelevant to the plot. Those are the characters in mystery novels who often hold the key to unravelling the whole thing. Either he is one of the villains or his presence at so many important moments means that he will be able to add up all the clues better than anyone else.
Is there any love triangle? If so, between who? Is it annoying/draggy?
The main leads are pretty much focused only on each other, whether hating or loving. There is a very irritating woman who likes the ML (ex-girlfriend), but right from the beginning he isn't interested.
If you enjoyed BP, I think you will love CL. It's part rom-com and part mystery. The humor is a bit dark at first,…
... and don't be tempted to skip through ep 1 just because some people called it boring. Much of episode 1 is necessary information that will help the plot make sense later. 😊
I don’t think we will see this illness misunderstanding go on for long only because I think the ex will find…
The ex is managing to get the wrong end of so many sticks. She's plotting so hard, but has all her facts wrong.
1 - She thinks NGJ has amnesia.
2 - She worked out the relationship was fake just as it became real.
3 - She's convinced that NGJ will immediately fall in love with her when he "recovers his memories".
Whatever she plans is doomed to fail, and I suspect that she will continue to misunderstand things, because although she's apparently intelligent, she doesn't actually stop and think.
What do you think about the preview ? What NGJ mean by I am going to retire ?
He might mean it literally, because he wants to spend more time with Sina while he can (since he still thinks she has a terminal illness).
However, I did wonder if he's laying a trap. Tell one person in confidence that you're going to retire, then sit back and see who ends up with that information. He may be trying to find out whether certain people are passing information to each other. Just a thought.
Did anyone keep track of where that bottle of prenatal vitamins went? With the crazy ex spying to see whether their engagement is real or not, it will be interesting if one of her spies finds that and misunderstands. With NGJ being extra attentive and the rumours flying among the staff, it's quite possible that the crazy ex will look for confirmation and find that it does seem genuine. That might just tip her over the edge into completely unhinged.
I hope I am wrong, but I can see noble idiocy coming from afar.
I hope not. So far, this writer has hinted us towards the usual tropes, then twisted things so that what we. expected didn't happen. I'm hoping this continues and we get an unusual and dynamic plot instead of the predictable "I feel betrayed" breakup/noble idiocy/study abroad for 5 years without communication/return for a hug in the final 5 minutes of the drama.
Definitely nothing draggy!
