I love how important vegetables are in this drama. First onions, now potatoes. I'm hoping to be able to make an entire Crazy Love themed soup by the end. Fingers crossed for carrots or tomatoes in the next episode.
now the questoin is why?why put up with shin ah being is finace and being nice to everyone
The "engagement" will be a useful screen for him too though, when the ex starts trying to get him back, because I'm pretty sure he won't want her. At this point he's going along with everything to fool everyone around him, but it will be fun later on when he can get revenge for the onions, etc. I loved the onion feast, btw. I had been wondering how she would convincingly explain all the onions all over the house!
Whoa. Haven't watched it yet. What's with the low starting ratings though? Anyone? TYIA
I don't know whether people have just been impatient, watched a tiny bit of the beginning and assumed that they know what the rest of it is going to be like. This is one of those dramas where you don't realise what's really going on until the last few minutes of episode 2. I've noticed a tendency recently in timed comments on dramas for some people to give up watching within 10 minutes of starting a new drama! ๐
Also, it is not exactly gritty realism, and I know there are many people who mark dramas down if the acting is too over the top or not realistic. This drama is definitely aiming for over the top tongue-in-cheek comedy, which doesn't appeal to everyone.
It's very funny. Give it a try, but don't judge it until you've watched all of episodes 1 and 2.
The ratings.. The plot might be cliche and boring but why judge it with only 2 episodes? It's not that bad actually.
Although on paper the plot may seem clichรฉd and boring, what they've done with it is really different. It's a cheeky, sideways, knowing poke at all the usual drama tropes, and it's fun! I think some people don't like the over-the-top comedic acting/directing style, but it's fairly clear from the start that it's not going to be a drama full of gritty realism. ๐
Watched the second episode today and can't help but see similarities with A Business Proposal but with different…
All fairly standard drama tropes. If you think the "can't recognise her in slightly longer hair and eye makeup" thing is funny, remember that the usual drama disguise is just a pair of glasses! ๐ What I like is that both dramas are using cliches with a knowing sideways wink to the viewer, and they're not always going down the expected path with them.
Well, there's definitely something wrong with her head because she's getting pains and dizzy spells. They have diagnosed her with a terminal brain tumour, but it could actually be a benign, removable tumor, or another condition that can be treated.
To me it seems as if the drama of Ms Wang is being relived with SaRa. And I thing YG sister was not his fathers…
I have wondered this before. This writer likes mirroring, so I did think she might be forcing YG to relive his father's dilemmas to make him more understanding.
Plot twist. The rest of the show is a courtroom drama. The past 46 episodes have all been the back story, told by the defence laywer, Mr Ko, to explain why his client, Mr Lee, murdered Jo Sa Ra. ๐
