I was ok with FL for about the first two weeks, now I am just ... idk tagging along but at least I am not skipping (,yet lol). If you really have no patience at all for non badass FLs then skip on this one, at least for now.

1. For now only Prince An knew who she was (and the dead Mr. Dong). XinDu gang had never even a visit by her (they only talk via latters, etc). I have no idea who killed her. I can only guess it was Prince An but by his reaction and how he instructed his servant to get the Token, it does not really sound like he had her stabbed and then days later he goes "Ah, now that she is dead, get the Token." He would have sent the servant to get it after killing her, etc.
2. As the existence of a Token implies, she is the owner of a big group and with that Token she can command others. In the Ending FLs servant (Lan Xiang) is seen wielding a sword to protect FL and the spoiled princess. Why would a maid servant be skilled in martial arts? I suspect her to be part of the RuYi Pav spy net thingy. Also Liu RuYi (FL shifu) said to Prince An that with his handsome looks, no wonder her 'subordinate' fell for him (meaning Gu Yuan, the employee from the RuYi shop). All of them are probably in on it and I would not be surprised if the two boys FL hangs out with (Xiao Qi, Xiao Ba) are also from RuYi, with their knowledge and connections around the city...

I am uncertain about the death of the Empress (who took away ML to raise him) and Consort Wan (mother of SML). The way I understood it, the Empress fell ill and as her son, ML had to go pray for her at the Temple where Consort Wan was staying. At that point he caused a fire (which didn't do harm according to ML). The same day the Empress dies and he is sent to the border. But also Consort Wan died ? Did I misunderstand something? Did they both die at the same time or was it only Consort Wan why he was sent to the border? But then when did the Empress die?

I replayed so many times!!!! So precious!

Thanks for the info. I wonder if that is how the mistake got in there. Maybe in the Novel it's a bit different.

omg that scene cut #Ep17 really did feel so bad, I actually went back as if there was something I missed. Most cuts in the series are well crafted and I am actually very happy with the editing over all (not the sound editing tho! Uff! The market scene when ML was searching for his uncle while being on a date with FL, just 5 props talking over each other as if you triggered NPCs in a game and they all start talking at the same time)... but yeah, the editing is really well so I don't even expect those weird cuts. They really throw me out of the story

I also wondered WHO was saying those lines to him #EP16. His mom? But he rarely ever talks to her and then they wouldn't be talking about love stuff, they still feel like strangers to each others... makes me wonder if a whole person has been cut or deep talk with his momma...

I am actually upset about the cuts. I care for the missing scenes esp bc I never paid so much attention to a story while trying to figure it out on my own (and not just read it on the web by someone else who broke their head understanding it all). So when they cut and I lose actual material, I am angry. I hope it will not leave more plot holes then it already has! :C
