Unfortunately iQiyi still loses about ~ CNY1.5bn every quarter - I doubt Ruyi Pavillion is gonna save it. The…
Shit, this makes me feel bad. I actually wanted to sign up (buy VIP) for iqiyi but they messed up the website paying methods and even over the course of one week of me checking if it works, I still couldn't pay with Credit Card ... Meh
When they keep it up like this, no wonder no one is paying ^^*

Is the mastermind, who wants to kill XuJin, Fu Rong's father? Is XuJin's brother working with Fu Rong's father? Also…
Maybe you got some actors confused but I think FuRongs father does have really nothing to do with any plotting haha :3

At first I liked him more than Xu Jin, he's my favorite type - gentle and refined with a darker side. It also…
I am also not really connecting to him, he feels like he does not really focus on anything. He keeps our FL close to him but does not really persure her. He is half assing the revenge thing. He does not even know anything about what happened and is just doing *something*...
But what I like about him is that he is giving our FL a lot of space and freedom instead of forcing her to be by his side. Really refreshing to see an enabling SML instead of him being a hindrance in her life.
He is giving her lots of chances to run into our ML ;)

Is this drama something like an ancient version of While You Were Sleeping?
'While You Were Sleeping' focused a lot on the dreams they had and how they stopped the stuff from happening. It was really nice seeing them all work together to make a difference. We don't have that here. For now (Ep12) she is on her own, trying the best she can and it seems (like with the kdrama) that she can not change the outcome but she keeps trying.

I am re-reading the describtion of the drama now that I watched 12EPs and am confused on when " [... ] Xu Jin also predicted the same tragedy, he doesn't want to avoid it but try his utmost to change the destiny. These two people begin the sweet game of "framing one another"."
He also had visions? They are framing one another? Am I missing something? Is it only me or- I didnt even skip that much! I thought I was paying attention...

Who else thinks it’s an adult that’s dubbing for those children actors Guan Ge amd Wen’er?
I think it is most often an adult, in the West, too. Try getting a child to act in an empty boring room, maybe even act alone without someone else going through the lines of the other actors.
I think there are some who let kids dub, but those must be some expensive voices to buy.

lmao a chart to keep near during the show would be handy. The whole family ties and people who work together is…
The further we get into the Episodes (I just rewatched till EP8 to undestand the plot and remember all the ppl) the more entangled all the character becomes. It is fun to unravel but a little help would be nice!

I do not understand why there are even contracts like this. Fake kisses feel real too when acting them out and…
True, I've seen some behind the scenes where the people behind the cameras where in summer shorts only, totally breaking the whole mood. I am amazed by how they could still act on such a setting. It's almost worse than acting infront of a green screen. Acting becomes harder and harder, I understand why some actors like to do theatere instead of TV. ^^*

I wonder, does our ML know when he is observing our FL having a fallout with her best friend Ci Zhu, that it is "his fault" for not solving the case properly and having Ci Zhu's brother die without saying who is actually behind it all? Is he feeling guilty or just watchin the show? lol #EP10

That just makes me sad. I hope his agency is going to treat him better than that.

I had a feeling it was not going to stay light-hearted when Senior Su died protecting FL. It was meaningful for…
Right??? That was also :/ I mean killing her whole family, too, taking her loved one and marry him off unhappily to someone else, going to war (?), torturing the guy who has a crush on her and she ends up marrying, he must still have that burn on his chest hurting.....
When I would read the synopsis of this drama, I would never say "This sounds like a happy fluffy drama!"

What does Cheng Yi think taking roles like that?
"I am only taking this if I am horribly wronged a billion times over but still keep going on!"
I hope that was enough for now and the next projects will look different. My heart can't take that just watching, so how can he act it?

Thanks for this, just a pity to think that this will later drown in the comment section. A real good piece of mind!
